I didn't Xerox any of the recipes out of this one (yet), because I already have so many I haven't tried accumulating at the moment. That said, I liked the book, enjoyed the photos and think I would enjoy most of the meals. I also liked that the author used simple, whole ingredients that can be found at just about any grocery store. That's an important factor for those of us who may not have access to more exotic or costly ingredients.
I am very pleased & impressed with this cookbook! Just purchased it on my Kindle Fire; it is my new favorite Vegan cookbook. Not only are the recipes healthy, the photos are absolutely stunning! The recipes are easy to follow, contain manageable & accessible ingredients. There are tons of recipes; the book is truly a Gem, offering many recipes versions, food substitutions, for those trying to avoid or reduce intake of certain foods, discusses how to stock your food pantry, the usage of various spices to enhance flavor, food terminology and much more! I am eager to try out these wonderful recipes...they all look delicious!
Like most vegan cookbooks I've read, there are a lot of introductory recipes and recipes for things that you would use within another recipe (cashew cream, etc.). There were some dessert items that I liked here. I saved the Applesauce cake recipe because I could see myself making it again. That's the only one I saved, though.
