Entertaining mystery listening 🎶🔰
Another will written British 🏰 murder mystery family relationships adventure thriller short story by Craig Stephen Copland (New Sherlock Holmes Mysteries book 2) Sherlock and Watson are asked to investigate three possible murders by the daughter of one of the murdered men. Another man 🚹 is murdered but Sherlock and Watson chase down the murder and unite two sisters. I would recommend this novella to fans of Sherlock Holmes and the author. Enjoy the adventure of reading or listening to books 📚. 2022 👑👒😕

Ever since I was a boy (a long long time ago) I loved Sherlock Holmes books. This new one does not disappoint.
Great characters; twisting plot and a surprise ending make up a formula for success.
I recommend.

# 221B Baker St. William Sherlock Scott Holmes (Scotland Yard consulting detective) & Dr. John Hamish Watson (husband, Sherlock's BMF) were discussing The Illustrated Times depicted Lizzie Borden (young Sunday School teacher) chopping off Andrew Jackson Borden (husband/father) & Abby Borden’s (wife/stepmother) head’s.
Mrs. Hudson (widow, landlady) announced the arrival of Ms. Mary Morstan (15+, 1/2 Ceylonese, former governess).
She wanted Sherlock to find out what really happened to her father Captain Robert Morstan (80+, Ceylon, U of Edinburgh, Royal Engineers).
Master Dharmarathna “Wiji” Gunawardhana (Ceylon, Oxford medical student, cricket player) was found dead in the library.
Master Chandrarathna Wijekulaseriya (Ceylon, Oxford student) was interviewed.
Ms. Morstan is well guarded as she heads for the Capital & County Bank.

An awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very professionally written Sherlock Holmes mystery book. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a large description list of unique characters, settings, facts etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great Sherlock Holmes mystery movie, or better yet a mini-TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.

A good story, well told.

- a couple or three hours of enjoyable reading; and,
- references to a laundry-list of "Sherlock associated" writings.
I think I am a reading addict. I retired in 2009, straightened up my home office and cleaned up the garage with my wife's support, maybe it's called nagging, then I started reading the books I'd stashed away on a bookshelf in the living room. A dozen years down stream I now have the paper-book all read and about 1600 books in my Kindle Library, of which some 300 or are currently unread. My iPad tells me I average 5-1/2 hours per day reading.
I know I am a reading cheapskate. I used to read used paperbacks, now I read ebooks from various cheap and/or free sources.
I have a rule. If you read it, you MUST write a review:
- Since you didn't pay anything out-of-pocket for the book you MUST compensate the author for
his-or-her efforts;
- If your review has some negative orientation there are two choices:
The "ungood" perspective must be out-weighed by a "good" perspective, or
you should NOT write a review.
Why? you ask. Cuz you don't have any skin in the game and maybe the
problem is your perspective, not the book's quality.
If not - keep your mouth shut! Maybe the "ungoodness" is between your ears rather than
the author's.

Although Mr. Holmes is not now or ever has been my cup of tea, I have to say that Mr. Doyle could not have written this story better.
Mr. Holmes is at his smart-ass, know-it-all, egotistical best. all of the reasons I do not like him and truly cannot stand him. Unfortunately, Mr. Copland cannot change his character and must go with what Arthur Conan Doyle created.
Picked this book to read because I wanted to see how Mr. Copland handled the hand he was dealt and, if you are a Holmes fan, you will thoroughly enjoy this book.

"An Interesting Mystery Story"
This is a new Sherlock Holmes mystery story. It involves two killings and a young woman who seeks the help of Sherlock Holmes. The mystery of the deaths goes back 15 hundred years involving a sacred tooth of the Buddha which had been taken to Celon. This story was inspired by the original Holmes' novel "The Sign Of The Four." This is a very interesting adventure story which I enjoyed.

Copland has again provided a wonderful example of writing a story based on an original Holmes story - in this case THE SIGN OF THE FOUR. Although the characters are the same in name, they differ in their mannners and actions. And the change is delightful as well as interesting, especially with the notes of humor Copland adds. With Coplan, it always helps to know the story from the Holmes canon that is the model for thr retelling. For any Hoilmes fan, these stories are a delight and are recommended.

Sign of the tooth
I enjoy these stories of Sherlock Holmes. I have to said they don't have the complicated story line. As a teenager I had all the books of Holmes and read them trying to solve them. It was fun but impossible. I do recommend them for die hard fans.

1902 Miss Mary Morstan needs the help of Sherlock Holmes as she believes her father, Captain Robert Morstan and his closest friend, Major John Sholto, were murdered. And do their deaths have anything to do with the Buddist Tooth.

The game’s afoot.
Ever since I was young I enjoyed reading Sherlock Holmes stories and trying to guess what the answer to the mystery was. I didn’t succeed then and I didn’t succeed with this story but enjoyed it equally well.

A great Holmes novel of murder and a magical tooth of the Buddha. Maybe moved along nicely and had some great twists.

This was an amazing book that featured Holmes, Buddhism and the Boer War an England's global influence in the world. I really liked all the foreign touches and how the young woman who contacted Holmes was using folks for her own purposes.

I'm addicted to these books!!
I have clearly become addicted to these Sherlock Holmes books by Craig Copland that I have been reading all of them! He always seems to be amaze me with some kind of twist at the end that I did not expect at all! He never fails to impress. I loved the Character of Mary Morstan in this book. She is such a strong character and the confidence she has is something for all readers to look up to and admire. The ending was just truly amazing!
