I've worked in publishing for twenty years and I sincerely love books and authors. I started this journey with my own books planning to write just one, and then well - all I can say is the stories kept coming. My original series The Publicist, follows Kate, Mac, Nick, Vivienne and a host of other awesome characters as they make their lives in New York, amidst the chaos that publishing often brings with it.
I am now exploring a fictional small town called Harper's Corner. This series is so fun, because there are so many characters in this town, from sexy firemen and hot Army guys, to an awesome group of women that I affectionally call "the coven." These books will explore each of these characters, and their journey to finding the loves of their lives.
I love writing, and I love reading and if I'm not actively writing a book, I'm probably dreaming of what I'll write next.

This book was much better than the first two books in the Publicist series. I wasn't sure I even wanted to continue on, but I'm glad I did, because this book is what I wanted the series to be like all along. Moved at a good pace, was interesting the whole way through.
Some things still baffle me about this series. The way all her friends pushed her to break up with Nick in the last book and then tell her to go back to him in this book made me angry and annoyed. I also felt like Mac's selfishness, which played a big part in this book, should have been hinted at more in the previous two. I also find it really odd the way that characters in this book find their lives the subject of tabloids, because I've never once seen people from the publishing world mentioned in any kind of news source. Maybe it's a local New York thing 🤷
I'm only 100 pages into this book but felt like I needed to post about my feelings now! I feel I can judge a book by my tear factor - if a book can make me shed a tear it is a good read! And, that's exactly what this book as done, pulled at my heartstrings enough to bring me to tears. I love the dynamic of the characters in this book. It feels like I could just jump right into the story and plug away with my life. George's writing is so realistic!
My only regret with this book is that this is my first read of the series. I wish I would have read the first two installments to get a better idea of each of the character's traits and the plot that has brought the characters to this point. Although, it is not a necessity to have read the first two books. I feel like George's writing explains the characters good enough in the third book to enjoy the read.
I gave this book 5/5 stars because I've really enjoyed reading this book thus far and cannot wait to finish the book!

Oh my gosh, I love this series! Kate's personal life is just as upside down as any persons could be in true life. In love with 1 man while thinking about another? All the while you can't just forget about him since his brother is your next big author! Christina George pulls you in and you simply cannot let go! I do not know how she does it but each book gets better and better! **I received a free copy for an honest review **
