I REALLY REALLY LIKE THE BEGINNING CHEMISTRY BETWEEN SIERRA AND RAM. IT WAS LIKE BEAUTIFUL, RICH GIRL MEETS BAD BOY TROUPE.

OUR HERO is a rich man, owner of a popular Saloon in San Francisco who is bent on revenge against a love gone wrong. He never expected to meet a persistent termagent like Sierra who butts into his life even if he tries to get away. She is a siren and a complication he doesnt need where he is going. Unfortunately Sierra has plans of her own and he ends up playing nursemaid to her, and of course falling into bed and love with her. Ram's character started degrading in my eyes once his motive to Denver was revealed. He struck me as a little petty for holding onto an old grudge yet at the same time, his situation is like a rotting arm you just have to chop off to save your life.

OUR HEROINE is a beautiful, strong headed young woman returned from her studies. She is determined to find her lost brother and sister, unwilling to forget them. When she's heard of vital information regarding RyDer and Abby, she plans a way to get to Denver. Fortunately, the handsome but vexing Ram is taking a trip there. When her adopted father refuses her passage there, she takes things into her own hands. Watching her interactions with Ram was mostly funny because she managed to annoy and frustrate a grown man so thoroughly yet seducing him without even trying.

OVERALL this had a nice balance of push and pull, humour and family camaraderie.

Set in 1868, California to Colorado, and is the final book in the Tear Trilogy. This book has a nice "wrap up" in the end, so be sure to read the first two before this one.

Sierra's family was killed by Indians when she was 3--or so she thought. Her older brother and sister were rescued by a tribe of Indians that raised them as one of their own. Sierra was too young and hid. She was rescued later and raised with her uncle in San Fransisco, but continued to hear rumors of the "White Indian" that was helping the Indians negotiate.

She was determined to go to Colorado and see if the "White Indian" was in fact her brother. There is a lot of cowboy and Indian stuff, running around the wilderness, etc.

Nice book.

los últimos cuatro capítulos me costaron, porque no había señales de solución de los conflictos sino que se creaban más. Aún así, fue una lectura entretenida.

A typical if fairly spicy historical romance. I haven't read the first two books of the series, and I may have had more appreciation for this story if I had done so. This stands alone pretty well, though, so reading the other books wasn't necessary in order to follow the story. I rather liked the characters; I thought they were both strong characters individually, and their chemistry as a couple was believable. There was a nice amount of drama and adventure that kept things lively.

After years of years of searching. I finally managed to get my hands on this one. Was it really worth the wait though? Jury's still out on that one...It wasn't bad but it wasn't all good either. The only reason this gets 3 stars is since Connie Mason is one of my top "fav" historical romance authors of all time:D

I really enjoyed the relationship, which is actually believable on many fronts. There were also no downs in the story and I enjoyed that something was always happening and the characters were well developed on their own without reliance on each other.
