I'd heard about profilers before reading this book but didn't know much about them. This book covers what profiles do and how the job can affect their lives. There are real-life examples of cold cases that were solved after a profiler was called to investigate. At the end, the author provides an appendix with tips on how readers can spot patterns. If you like non-fiction books about solving crimes, this book is a good one to read.

Thought Provoking and Informative

This is a surprisingly easy and engaging read. After the background chapters in profiling, the author dives right into cases. In narrative and true crime format, he pulls the reader into each case. Then he provides the profiler’s analysis. This is a must read for any fan of true crime and crime fiction. Authors of this genre would do well to grab a copy of this book for reference.
