A kingdom on the brink of war. A Choosing that could seal its fate. And a girl caught in the eye of the storm.
In a realm ruled by dragons and elemental magic, Arden never imagined her path would lead to the royal palace—let alone into the heart of the Choosing, a tradition where noble girls compete for the hand of a prince… and the favor of a dragon.
But darkness is spreading.
Shadow wraiths—once human, now twisted by dark magic, hunt across the kingdom, and Arden’s friend has become one of them. As the threat grows and the line between friend and foe blurs, Arden must navigate courtly deception, deadly trials, and forbidden desires.
Four princes. One Choosing. And a secret that could destroy them all.
Torn between duty and desire, Arden must hide her growing bond with three of the four royal brothers, each wielding elemental power, each pulling her heart in a different direction. But the Choosing waits for no one. And when a dragon finally rises to choose, its decision will ignite a chain of events that could shatter the kingdom… or save it.
One girl. Four princes. A dragon’s will.
Perfect for fans of elemental magic, slow-burn fantasy romance, and heroines who choose their own fate—even when the odds are stacked against them.
Rebecca Pratt is a self published author. She lives in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Coming from a teaching background Rebecca loves delving into stories and sharing them with others.
She has loved books her entire life, she began writing short stories in primary school and her love for writing grew from there.
Rebecca married her husband James in October 2015 and welcomed their son Spencer into the world in 2018.
In 2018 just seven months after her son was born she sadly discovered that she had breast cancer.
Searching for a distraction she began writing 'Another Wolf's Mate’ as way to escape her world and delve into the world of fantasy romance, wolves and mates.
Back to the world of princes, elemental magic, the choosing and dragons.
These are easy books to read and get lost in for the afternoon. They are short but sweet. Rebecca has beautiful imagery and the language is regal. Plus some spice sprinkled in there too.
I look forward to more as they are just so easy to just sit back and fly on that dragon through the pages.
