“I absolutely love this book. I think it is head and shoulders above any other.… The book is just right. I have used every edition so far and students seem to read it and grasp the concepts well. It is clearly written, well illustrated, and explains concepts in an engaging and understandable way. The text reads like it should—a wonderfully written book. It almost reads like a novel, progressing through the topics with a fluency that is rare. It’s perfect for my students.” —Carol L. DeVolder, St. Ambrose University

I used this manual for a Neuroscience course from my master's in Clinical Health Psychology and I enjoyed it a lot, mainly because of the structured approach.

Most intriguing topic of this semester. It is quite hard and complicated, however I am enjoying the challenge

I really enjoyed this textbook. It was well written, informative, and had plenty of pictures and diagrams to coincide with concepts. The layout and organization was great, easy to navigate, with interesting investigations and end of chapter questions to help solidify understanding. Great introductory overview of behavioral neuroscience.

the study guide that came with the book was really helpful and a great way to prepare for tests. but there are definietly mistakes between some on the information in the book and the correct answers for some of the chapters in the study guide. so another edit of the book is needed. once that's done though, it will be perfect.
