When U.S. Marshal Fowler Barclay was kidnapped at gunpoint by a beautiful green-eyed girl, he had a hunch she didn't want him for his good looks or vibrant personality. As it turned out, what she did want was help finding her missing twin brother.
Fowler was tempted by her lush young curves, tempted by her soft, beguiling lips; he was also tempted to throw her in the nearest jail to keep her out of trouble. But after a wicked ambush, a vicious shootout and a glorious night in each other's arms, he knew that, like it or not, this bundle of trouble was destined to be his. . .
too rom com-ish for my taste. the reader suffers through long exposition dumps, detours about texan history, and poorly written dialogue to get to subpar sex scenes. nobody reading this book is trying to remember the alamo!
This is one of my all time favorite books, I have read it honestly 10 times. I wish I could find the other book but I never can. I would recommend this to anyone who likes old westerns and gun hooting and of course romance. It made me laugh and cry and get angry.
