I thoroughly enjoyed this modern retelling of the story of Jonah, told through the eyes of a teenage boy wrestling with forgiveness in the aftermath of a life-shattering event. Jonas’s raw emotions were deeply relatable as he waged a war inside himself over whether to forgive someone who, in his eyes, didn’t deserve it. Pastor Andy Addis delivers a powerful young-adult novel that captures the very real struggle of forgiveness and the overwhelming grace of God that many of us have experienced in a powerful way.
