Enemies to lovers at its finest!!
Exquisite, action packed, high intensity read that sings survival on every page in a world that wants to take you out! And don’t get me started about the line between lust and love, especially with a Reaper Warrior!! Kairon is a Reaper, Ava a human soldier with something to prove, and the two aren’t supposed to meet let alone be so much more. She’s his Jalshagar (fated mate) and I bet he didn’t have that on his bingo card 😁. They meet when his ship attacks hers to obtain a Precursor (ancient artifact with immense power) and his actions lead them stranded alone on a very hostile planet. Can’t wait for the next book in the series-there’s much still to be revealed 💕. And if I ever ask to travel to a rainforest - someone knock me out til the urge passes 🤣.

Honestly it was just ok. The story is a bit boring and slow in some places and Ava's constant tough girl thing got old after like 50 pages. Like I get it, she's a soldier but she's mauled, stabbed, wounded and almost killed by injuries a few times and just keeps going? there's never a point where she falters or is scared or cries or gives up etc. Like she almost loses an arm at one point and walks it off??? I love a strong female lead but this was just annoying to me after a while.
Then we have Kairon who I feel could have been fleshed out a bit more. We're told he's a reaper and basically super strong but we don't really know why that's bad or why these two hate each other? his personality was basically being sarcastic and suave and watching her suffer / drag herself through the jungle while he does nothing to help. Like seeing him take care of her, slow down, carry her or something (aside from that basic medical care he gave so she didn't lose her arm) would have shown some emotional growth and relationship progression.
Also, Ava and Kairon are kind of bad together imo. The whole book is these two at each other's throats and fighting then all of a sudden there's hate sex and they're mates?..... I was expecting a romance but these two couldn't even be in the same space without fighting or fucking and that was it. Oh and Ava just like does a total 180, decides she's with him now and not going to be a soldier anymore / to be a smuggler? considering that was her full personality the whole time, that decision felt random and rushed IMO. eh.

This story is very exciting! Ava is an IHC officer and has been assigned to her first ship, and when reapers attack her ship, she finds herself in an escape pod with one of the reapers. Kairon is after something that is on the ship and will take down the ship to get it but when he finds himself stranded on another planet with Ava, who is human, at first, he finds her weak and pathetic but is oddly attracted to her. A lot goes on while they are stranded together and they develop feelings towards each other until eventually after fighting for artifacts and then rescuing her from her own ship. After they take her prisoner, they go onto to live happily ever after as fated mates.

Hate It!

I really didn't like this story, it was very hard to connect with both main characters, he is a brute and she is just very dumb and stubborn. She is in the spaceship going to Kairon's planet, Kairon is trying to get the package they have. During this whole invasion Eva got caught with Kairon and were transported to another planet where they need to work together to get out of there alive. There all they do is treat each other like crap. Finally he realized she is his mate (I think chapter 28 out of 31) & of course because of that everything he did and how he treated her is forgotten. I don't like this story.

(Love Reapers Stories) This enjoyable reaper romance story was an action-filled, dramatic, romantic story I'd totally enjoyed reading. This story is about Ava a new soldier out of the Acadamy who's assigned to a prisoner transport spaceship and Kairon a reaper captain who attacked the ship looking for advance and precursor tech and what occurs afterward. Our characters (Ava and Kairon) were wonderfully depicted and made an engaging couple to root for. I'd volunteer to read and review this copy I'd received.

Ava and Kairon thrust together following an altercation sets the stage for some hate-to-love survival action. Humans, reapers and a mysterious artifact made for an interesting plot. I found the heated animosity between this pair quite the thing to watch grow and change. Lots of action with revealing inner dialogue of things realized kept drawing this couple together. Loved it!.

I really enjoyed this book. Great world building and wonderful characters. I loved the stranded on an alien planet trope where they have to stick together to survive. And then fall in love, of course!
I loved both Ava and Kairon. Ava was strong, capable, and doesn't back down. Still, she can't survive on the hostile planet without him. These two are definitely enemies and clash and I liked how their relationship developed. A fast-paced romance, with action, suspense, and danger. 4 stars.

The synopsis isn’t for this book but the book is good nonetheless. There are other reviews that basically give a correct synopsis of what the book is about. That’s the only reason I took off a star is because the book had nothing to do with what I went in thinking it was about.

The authors have taken us to another time and place and pull us into the lives of Ava and Kairon. The heart pounding story keeps us turning the pages with connection, BDSM, danger, action and steam.

I was confused most of the time. I didn't know who was the good guys and who were the bad. The bad guys were the ones who executed her father and brother.
