This series of books, which includes the nine planets plus The Stars, The Sun and The Moon contain interesting facts about the subjects covered for the younger reader. They are well illustrated. This particular one on Pluto is really quite interesting and during the reading of it the following exchange occurred:
Sean (pointing to picture of astronomer): Is he dead?
Self: Yes, he was run over by a bus
Sean (pointing to another astronomer): And him?
Self: Yes, he was poisoned.
It's amazing what kids will believe.
