My sister was the healthy, courtable omega of Pack Wade.
I came to terms with my own status a long time ago.
With nothing but a couple dollars and a failing heart, Dawn moves into the sleepy coastal town of Chrysalis. She finds work as a nurse, determined to fend for herself.
But being an unbonded omega in a small town draws attention. She can ignore the whispers. The stares.
What she can’t ignore is Pack Rhide.
All her life, Dawn has been told no alpha will accept her. So why are these four—Levi, Kenji, Blake and Emerson—so determined to protect her, provide for her, keep her warm?
Loving them could cost her everything. Her job. Her family. Her life.
And Dawn knows better than anyone … some omegas weren’t meant for happy endings.

LIGHT OF DAWN is a standalone, why-choose omegaverse romance. Includes 18+ steamy content and omegaverse themes (scenting, nesting, heats, bonding, etc.). Trigger warnings for sexual and family trauma.
I’m torn on this one … it had a lot going for it. The omegaverse setup, the small town tension, the why choose dynamic.
I liked Dawn and I liked the guys (mostly) and the bones of the story were strong and I wanted to love it.
But the editing was rough. Like jarring rough. There were chapters supposedly from one character’s POV and the name didn’t even match a character from this book. It was confusing and pulled me out of the story more than once. At times I genuinely stopped and went “Wait what!? And who?????”
So yeah I did enjoy the overall arc and some of the emotional beats hit. But with the weird errors and general disjointed feel it just didn’t quite land. Three stars … and that’s me being nice because I wanted to enjoy it more than I did.
I honestly don’t know how I finished this one. The plot was mid and the characters were boring. I legitimately just finished the story and I’m already forgetting about what happened.
Fast paced, pretty good story. Liked how her condition added to the story. Not a super deep story but a fun quick read.
Agree with the other reviews that there are some editing errors that need to be cleaned up. It wasn’t as bad as I expected based on another review, likely my brain just read some of the errors as the right name since they were close, but I remember at one point wondering who Black was and realizing it was probably a spell check error.
I have mixed feelings. While I enjoyed the story and what it was about there were issues that just needed fixing. My biggest issue was that there were name issues- character names who were not even in the story. I also was a little confused on the whole parent issues. Otherwise I really liked the characters.
This was such an amazing and easy omegaverse book. Dawn comes from a family where her Alpha parents does nothing except berate her. She goes to a town where no one knows her to work as an unbonded omega nurse.
She never thought this was possible, having a life with a pack. She never believed that she deserves to be loved and ecepted. I literally started this book in the morning and finish in the afternoon. Being so angry 😡 that it ended so soon. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
