FOLLOW YOUR HEART

Western Whirlwinds: Mischief, Mayhem, and Mishaps is a new multi-author historical-based series. Each book within the series is a stand-alone that will entertain the reader. These are clean, wholesome tales, with a bit of mischief and plenty of humor. While not everyone appreciates the free will thinking of some people, others find it refreshing.

The story begins in the Spring of 1861 in Chimney Rock, Nebraska, at the Becker bakery, with Leopold Becker calling his daughter, Hannah, to the front to meet Dolus Krause and to inform her that he has made arrangements for her to marry on Sunday. But on the day of the wedding, near the church, a Pony Express horse races into town without its rider. In a moment of panic, Hannah will jump on the horse and head out of town towards Courthouse Rock, Nebraska. When she arrives, she will pass out and be taken to Miss Clara’s home.

The story will have Hannah meeting Preston Goodman, the man who caught her when she fainted. Hannah is caught between returning to Chimney Rock and marrying Dolus, honoring the commitment made, but her heart isn’t into any of it.

“We honor those who cared about us by remembering what they taught us.”

The story has the good, the bad, and the ugly in people. Hannah is the pawn in the game, married to Dolus in exchange for helping her father’s financial situation. It would never be a marriage of love, and she actually fears Dolus and knows his parents won’t be kind to her either. Will her knight come and rescue her from a loveless marriage and give her happiness? With the right person as a spouse, happiness reigns.

Such a fun book to read! There are many twists and turns in Hannah's story... Betrothed to one man she cannot tolerate, Hannah runs... Meeting Preston shows her what a real man is and how he treats a woman. But she cannot feel good about herself if she refuses to follow through with her commitment...
Will things go well or will Hannah be more confused than ever when she returns home to help save her father's bakery and put herself into a life she doesn't truly want. Get yourself a copy and enjoy Hannah's crazy life...
