Dear Reader,
I’m so excited to share Book 4 in The Summer Breeze series with you! As the seasons shift, so do the people and possibilities filling Callie’s days. In this latest installment of the heartwarming series, your favorite characters—Tiny, Lynette, Grace, Kirsten, Alexis, Jayce, and of course, Nick—are back, joined by some intriguing new visitors. Callie continues her well-intentioned (but rarely successful) attempts to avoid meddling in her guests’ lives, indulges in even more mouthwatering food, and discovers that the best kind of changes are the ones you never saw coming.

Thank you for once again joining Callie, the staff and guests at the B&B, and the wonderful residents of Seneca Springs on their journey.

Wishing you happy reading,
Shail

Excellent series! I highly recommend

These books turned out to be much better than I had imagined. I liked the fact that I almost needed a dictionary for some of the elusive words found on so many pages. For me, that is a sign of a talented writer.

If I wanted to list complaints, I would only be able to find one, and maybe a variant of that one annoyance. It's the often reused phrase "comfortable silence." I see it too often these days. There surely is another word that could replace Comfortable.

I loved the story lines, loved the fast-paced speed, and the detailed descriptions of the B and B, and all the new businesses that popped up all over the place, with just the right people to fill jobs and fund dreams.

I know this isn't exactly how Real Life works, but that's why it's called Fiction. I can't wait to read more.

New Opportunities

This is the 4th book in The Summer Breeze series. I have read the previous books also. This book finds Evelyne out of prison for arson.
She decides she wants to open a book store; but she needs a co-signer. Lynette who is the bookkeeper at Callie’s bed & breakfast, where Evelyne (aka Evie) set the fire, decides to co-sign the loan. The bookstore becomes a good addition to Seneca Springs’ business community. Tiny, the chef at Callie’s bed & breakfast & his fiancé, Gracie, decide to buy a winery. Lots of things happening in Seneca Springs! You will have to read the book to find out what things!

The fourth book in this series had me hooked! It had it all - suspense, love, laughter and delicious food that made me want to stop by a bakery or terrace restaurant in search of similar dishes! The story is perfectly weaved creating authentic experiences between the characters. There was newfound love between surprising characters as well as tales of parenthood that provided reality checks in the idyllic setting of Seneca Springs! Cover to cover it was a wonderful read that just shows the adventures in the finger lakes are not over yet!

Wonderful series!

Callie created a whole life for herself and in the process made several other people lives change in a good way. Together they created a family and they all helped each other become successful. It was wonderful.

The fourth book in this heartwarming series has Callie juggling tasks at the Summer Breeze Bed & Breakfast, fears of losing her top chef, the challenge of moving into a new home, and, oh right, she’s about to have a baby. Plus she’s helping a former convict open a bookstore. That’s enough to keep anyone busy and any writer bouncing around the story. But Shail Rajan handles the various plotlines well and keeps us wondering what Callie is doing to do next, how she will handle all the challenges that come her way. This is a series with relatable characters and an inviting small town in the Finger Lakes region of New York state. A good read that kept me turning the pages.
