The stories are interconnected with characters from the previous book making appearance and contributing to the story. Jason & Nikki are great!
This was a great story. Great plot, very interesting characters and enough action to grab one’s attention. Jason is a Tidal Waves hockey player. He appears as the American golden boy, but this is just a mask. He is dangerous. His father is a Mafia boss. His childhood was full of unspeakable violence he tried really hard to leave behind. Nikki is Natalie’s sister. She is in a rough spot, owning debts she is unable to pay back and doesn’t want to involve her sister in the mess. So Jason strikes a deal with her. Pay everything for her and in exchange she will play the role of his devoted girlfriend for six months. He doesn’t expect her to see under the carefully cultivated mask to his true self. She doesn’t expect the depths in him. So, fake and real start to blur and soon they find themselves falling. But Jason’s past comes back and threatens everything. What will Nikki do? I loved every page. 4 stars

I absolutely love these ones where the man is possessive, and totally alpha. Jason pays Nikki's big debt that has cost her a lot emotionally and personally but with a lot of strings attached. Jason keeps everything about his true self hidden from everyone around him. Nikki sees right through him from the beginning. The plot is very well-written all the twists and turns with this story keeps. you on edge all the way through. The chemistry between these two is super explosive and spicy. I loved reading the push - pull dynamic that Jason had going on with Nikki. I loved how it was all tied in with the first book of the series and you get to read about Nikki's sister and how their relationship worked. This is a must read!!!

What started as a fake relationship and a transaction grew into something more. Nikki was deeply in debt, and through a deal with Jason, they entered into a fake relationship, which quickly blossomed into something more for Jason. Can they stand a chance together and make their relationship grow into something more? There's plenty of chemistry and attraction, and plenty of steamy, heated scenes between them. I enjoyed their story and I definitely recommend it!

Drowning in debt Nikki became Jason's woman. It was supposed to be a simple transaction that turned into so much more because Jason got all caught up in Nikki and their fake relationship turned into something more. Will they be able to navigate it to happiness on a permanent basis. This heartfelt story drew me in and kept me caught up in it.

Nikki has dug her self into an impossible hole. No ladder in the world is long enough to get her out. But Jason has decided to help her climb out. But at what costs? Was the devil she knew better than this hot as Hades, Jason? Love this series. Great to read.

These hockey players don’t play games, they see what they want and go after it . I’m glad Nikki got her life back , sucks her friend had to go . But I’m glad Jason was honest about everything and they had Kane ass telling them to get they mess together so he can have Natasha to hisself 😂

Wow
This is hands down the best in the series. Nikki and Jason had natural chemistry that wasn’t forced. The twist was crazy but I loved them together. My only critique is the repetitive descriptors that pepper all of the books in this series. That grew to be somewhat annoying but not enough to not finish the book.

Nikki was in debt and to pay it she became Jasons, but he knows shes more than play pretend, but does she? And even when their times up will she choose to stay? Well written engaging steamy desires dark themes and more.

I could not put this book down. I loved the characters Jason and Nikki. The chemistry was great, they are so cute. The spice was gooood!! The plot was good, I didn't see it coming.

Love This!!!!!
There were some things in here that I did NOT see coming my way!!!! This had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. It was a little slow starting for me but overall it was amazingly enjoyable. I love these Hockey men. I can’t wait to read the next book.

good but could have been better
I enjoyed it but I think a few things were missing to make it great. The biggest was the back story with Jason’s dad… there was no lead up to having Nikki’s friend (spoiler coming), killed… It seemed totally random..
