Gem Water: How to Prepare and Use More than 130 Crystal Waters for Therapeutic Treatments

Rate this book
Effective and healthy remedies produced by infusing water with appealing crystalline energies are carefully described in this informative manual. The first part covers aspects of preparation, featuring deceptively simple processes such as the boiling method, the water vapor method, and the test tube method--all of which can be easily mastered by crystal healing enthusiasts. After outlining the correct methods to use and listing poisonous crystals as a safety precaution, the book examines more than 100 usable crystals and 34 special mixtures, revealing their intended uses and effects for the optimum in therapeutic results.

This is a lovely little reference book about one of my favourite subjects. It is filled with lots of simple techniques using gemstones with water. This isn't the type of book I generally read from start to finish I tend to dip into it when I feel the need for some spiritual support. The gemstone references are so clean and straight to the point, the type of book I love. I have a library full of very deep self-help books, but unlike this little beauty they often make things too complicated. Well done Michael and Joachim, for creating a book that is suitable for anyone.

I chose this book to read because I will be teaching a class on Gem Elixirs in the spring, and wanted another perspective on the material. This book provided that and much more. It offers many different techniques for making elixirs, and offers some stone formulas for specific conditions. What was particularly useful was the long list of stones that should never be used in the direct soaking method because they are made of harmful chemicals. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in learning how to make gem elixirs.

What a wonderful little book on the applications of using crystals and minerals in water. Crystal recipes, meanings, and proper preparation are discussed, as well as what gemstones should avoid direct contact with water. Small and sweet, this is a reference book I will continue to flip through while I discover more about crystals and water.

Oh boy... Well let's this out of the way first, I am not the typical intended audience.

So first thoughts? CITATION NEEDED!! The claims this book makes with few resources to look more into. Especially that bibliography, I was hopeful that it would give me more resources to look into to understand the claims made but...nope.. only his books. I'm disappointed.

Otherwise I found it a waste of time (only a day luckily) and I'm better off making my own system if I ever find the need.

As the description says it is clear and straightforward.

Photos of the gems are sharp with great color.

This is a great book both as an introduction to gem water and as a guide to making your own at home.

Recommended.
