Stonehaven and Bea

The second book in the current series by Emma Leech is another tale in the adorable seaside town of Little Valentine. This book follows the unpredictable path between Stonehaven and Beatrice Honeywell. The writing in the adventure is just as good and as smart as all of Ms. Leech's other books. You should give this series a chance.. Fall in love with the magic of Little Valentine.

A delightful book that has all the traditions of a Georgian romance with well crafted and believable characters and a fine plot set in a charming location.

It also deals with hard struggle faced by an active young man who has to deal with recovery and adjustment to severe partial blindness. We also have humour and an almost farcical cascade of events following a lie that gets quite out of hand.

This is all skilfully handled to produce a highly enjoyable read.

Great book! If you are looking for a sweet romance, fast paced, and well written book, The Song of the Siren is for you! Is the second book in the Little Valentine serie, a small seaside town! Bea and Stonehaven were a very sweet couple and I can’t wait for Clara! Im hoping a certain icy Lord is in her future ! I love the type “how the mighty have fallen” trope in romance! 🥰

Just okay. I thought the romance was rushed and I didn’t think the MMC’s situation got its due. I also felt like we spent too much time with Anne and Clara to the point where we barely got to know the FMC. I hope the future books are more like book 1 than this.

Sadly not my fave of Emma V. Leech. I miss the gentleman and rogues series. Maybe I’m just slow to get into the swing of the new series.
