The Gifting Series #10 Wren got screwed. Earth Armed Forces promised her a fortune to use her elite coding skills to save kidnapped children—then denied ever hiring her. Arrested, stripped of her tech rights, and banished to a space station, she’s forced to weld for a living. Her only thrill? Bungee-jumping off construction cranes with the best view in the galaxy. Getting kidnapped? Totally her fault. Now trapped with alien tech she can’t hack and women she can’t protect, Wren becomes a test subject in a genetic nightmare. But she refuses to go down without a fight.
Cylo is an Etterian operative. Saving kidnapped females for his people is his mission—until Wren crashes into his life. She isn’t his, having not triggered the lifemate bond. But her fire, resilience, and raw courage leave him desperate to protect her anyway. Wren should be unraveling, not evolving. The alien serum inside her is altering her DNA, awakening strange powers—and Cylo’s the only solid thing in her world. But as her mind opens to the emotions and thoughts around her, even he can’t shield her from the truth. Cylo would give anything to claim her forever. Too bad forever might not be an option.
Sevannah Storm was born and raised in Africa and is a slave to her internal muse named Reginald. She writes action-packed romances with happily-ever-after and is a firm believer in relatable characters who are strong, capable yet bowled over by love. Her life is filled with laughter and sarcasm which comes through in her writing.
Her home is a land south of Wakanda, where animals roam free. Born in Zimbabwe, she grew up in South Africa. The crisp blue skies with cotton-candy sunsets expand her heart and soul, encapsulating a sense of freedom.
This is a good read! Wren has been used and betrayed landing her in Cylo's path. Steamy and often funny I enjoyed it. The "sharks and squidheads" had me chuckling.
