Lethal. Inseparable. Codependent.

Just three words that describe the omega assassin duo to a T, as anyone who tries to separate Juniper and Felix soon finds out.

After escaping a living nightmare ruled by Felix's older brother, the bonded omegas forged a life for themselves in the shadows. As far as the world knows, he's an alpha and she's just another innocent omega with a pretty face. In reality? They're both the last thing their targets see coming.

But freedom comes at a price, and with Juniper's grasp on reality fraying more each day, Felix is struggling to keep the pieces together and fears he's failing at being the one thing Juniper needs that he can't give an alpha.

When the job that was supposed to be their last leads them right into the path of the Viper, Bane, Doctor, and Jackal—AKA the Psychos, a pack of elite vigilante alphas who just so happen to be their scent match—the unshakable bond between the pair is tested.

Will Viper, Bane, Doctor, and Jackal be the thing that tears them apart, or the pack they never knew they needed?

Claimed by the Psychos will be released in Q3 2025. This is a standalone in the Fameverse series, which does not need to be read in order.

Claimed by the Psychos -
Harper Lennox & River Ramsey
5♾️/5✨🌟

* SPOILERS *

I’m so obsessed with this series and when I got the blurb at the end of the last book, I knew Harper and River were not going to disappoint me. I’ve only read the second book but I think this might be my favorite.

First off, I loved how the closeness of Felix and Juniper. If they didn’t have each other, they probably wouldn’t have made it in the world. I love how Felix pretended to be a different designation to protect themselves and other omegas.

Reading this whole book, Felix was definitely my favorite. I felt for him on so many levels but I really wanted more MM scenes, especially the teasing that we got at the end.

And the marking tattoo, probably my favorite scene that had me in tears.

From Archer, Bane, Elias, and Carlisle, the absolutely crazy one of the pack was my favorite. Carlisle is something else and had me giggling and some of the crazy stuff he would do… like leaving Juniper in the gun room!

Juniper was such a bad ass, though. I was here for her own little psycho moments. And Felix was so strong. I knew he was going heh the two escaped their scent matches guarded home when he was still hurting.

I just loved how finally the two omegas got everything they never thought they could have and they had the best alphas that would burn down everything for them!

I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

2.5? spoilers.

I am not sure what I wanted from this book, I think I had an idea of what I was expecting plot wise and just never got there but also didn't get the satisfaction from relationships so it just fell flat.

Omegas:
So the one thing that this book did that I liked was that the two omegas genuinely did love each other. You could see it in this unhinged obsessive codependent way and it wasn't bad. It also ends up being the only relationship that really comes through where the rest call flat.
Juniper is actually crazy and has hallucinations at all times but they also tell her things and are knowledgeable which is confusing and not really addressed well. We get "well omega instincts" but that seems to fall short of a real explanation in a non paranormal world. Juniper after that is just manic pixie girl, she flits from thing to thing and causes problems, which is fine I just didn't really get a good feel for her after the surface level.
As for felix, I love him. crazy✅ obsessive✅ utterly devoted you guessed it ✅ I think the like of his character comes from him being the only guy we get flushed out. We see his ups and doesn't and real moments with Juniper that aren't just sexual. We also get his designation confusion and journey and just know him almost better than anyone else in the book.
Alphas:
y'all these four kind of blended together for me and the scenes just didn't lend to any real connection outside of sex. Which is fine, I just feel let down after the connection between Felix and Juniper. like why bother if it isn't that level?
Elias and Archer for me are essentially interchangeable. if you just gave Elias a little more kindness you could have just had one character and not two.
Carlisle stands out because he is a "psychopath" and Bane is the leader but we probably could've just gone with three guys.

plot:
Honestly this is a flimsy boring plot for a huge portion of this book. They are just sort of trying to win over the omegas, but don't do any real activities to so, or even act like they are doing much except sitting in the compound.
Evan ends up being the plot, and he isn't even really in this story much.

overall:
Overall the smut was not good enough to lack everywhere else, and I just wanted more from a cool premise.

Omega assassins 😮😜😈.

Juniper is likely the craziest omega yet and she was absolute perfection. Funny, crazy, wild … and yet still vulnerable at times. Her reactions to everything were just so much fun. And her other little quirk, that just made everything that much more interesting.

Felix, our masquerading omega, was strong, protective, and so in love with Juniper 😊.

And our psychos, alpha perfection.

These 2 authors always find a new spin on their omegaverse and I NEED to read every book they come up with. More please 🙌.

This was so deliciously twisted. There are some heavy themes in this one. Take trigger warnings into account. If this is your kind of spice, oh is it good. The adorably twisted pair have every right to the trauma they live with. They may handle it a bit different than most but they are working through it. Then there’s the psychos. The perfect counterbalance. The banter is top tier. The spice is hot. This was so good. Don’t skip it.

"She said she was fine, but Juniper's definition of fine includes active hallucinations and the occasional murder, so that's not exactly reassuring."

This book had no right being this good. The characterizations of the two omegas, and especially the character arc of the male omega were fantastic. The alpha MMCs were fantastic in showing them in multiple ways that they were nothing like the alphas they'd dealt with before. I love that the storyline was focused on this, allowing them to come together as a pack so well.

The bond between the omegas had me swooning so many times. They truly love each other, and it manifests in everything they do. I loved seeing them slowly open up to the idea of adding this pack of alphas into their circle and trusting them. These authors did such a good job of showing their walls come down piece by piece.

"I could lie. Tell her she's fine. That the episodes aren't increasing in frequency. That she didn't spend twenty minutes last week having a conversation with someone who wasn't there. But lies are for marks, not for her."

I especially loved the FMC's characterization. She had hallucinations, heard voices, was dealing with previous trauma, was a little feral, and was still completely naive and innocent in some ways...but shock of all shocks, she wasn't naive and innocent in a creepy way, which is so rare in what I've read lately. I've come across this characterization many times, but it almost always skews into infantilization. But not this FMC. She was very well written, with many facets that we saw throughout the story.

Likewise, the omega MMC that's with her from the beginning has his own set of issues he works through. We see so many sides to him too, from the parts of him that live just for and because of her, to the parts of him that he's hidden away for various reasons that threaten to come out in this new safety they've found with the alphas.

"The shadows are getting louder. Sometimes they tell me things. True things. Like how that man back there has killed thirteen people. I could see them standing behind him."

Some negatives:

The alphas were also separate and distinct characters, each with their own scenes throughout the story that separated them from the others. However, I do think they weren't explored as deeply as the omegas were, and I wish they had been.

Some backend stuff could have been explained more, like I don't think I even knew what state or country this was in? I'm guessing the US but they did a lot of flying around and traveled to two different bases. Would have liked to have known what trees and foliage to insert in my mental layout lol. Also, some of their planning was glossed over so that a few things/resources seemed to come out of nowhere.

Anyway, this was the perfect read for me today. Really glad I chose it.

This was surprisingly well written story and frankly it had quite a bit of depth and complexity when it came to the characters and the plot itself. Juniper and Felix were for sure the main focus of the story and despite the darkness that each of them carries, there is something solid, unyielding and admirable between them. As lovely as the Psychos were, and they were very decent individuals, Felix and Juniper's relationship did stand out.
There are some pretty dark themes here, starting from living in captivity, to being tortured and dealing with psychotic episodes, but the author provides just enough information for the reader to get the gist of it without it being explained in detail on page. I did appreciate that quite a bit as the story focuses more on these two individuals struggling to cope with their past, passing through phases of insecurity and distrust with the pack and eventually allowing themselves to embrace their future with those who stood by them despite the odds.
Overall, I am really pleased with this one and for sure I would read another book by this author. Yes, it did have some flaws, but that did not impact greatly on the experience itself. Hope other readers enjoy it as well.

Happy to have been an ARC reader for this book. Super fun read finished it in a day. The FMC says the funniest lines. So why do you need pre order it, lets start with two Omega's that truly can look after themselves, Alphas that will put them first. The book is a tiny bit on the darker side (killing but with good reason) but it has All the feels. There is no cheating, no abuse or bullying within the pack, no OW drama, no breakups, including heat cycles, scent matching and marking, and spicy scenes involving the entire pack. If your looking for MM there is only a tiny scene, the female omega gets all the knots if you read it you'll understand why.

Favorite line : He always worries. Always reminds me to eat and drink when I forget. Always holds me when my pieces start to drift away.

My favorite of the series so far

**SPOILERS**

Juniper and Felix are assassins for hire. They escaped hell, a trafficking ring run by Felix’s brother and since then have become contract killers. They accept a contract to take out an elite group of alphas, The Psychos, but things go wrong. Felix’s cover as an alpha is blown and he nearly dies, and the alphas realize they are scent matched to the two omegas who tried to kill them. They bring them back to their compound and let them heal…all the while planning on how to get these two co-dependent omegas to trust and love them as much as they love one another. Juniper takes the alphas quicker, since her omega nature hasn’t been suppressed the way Felix’s is. But Felix feels insecure in his role now that juniper has alphas who can complete her “needs.” It’s up to Juniper and the alphas to convince Felix he is as much part of the pack as Juniper is, because Juniper is utterly devoted to him.

**THOUGHTS/OPINIONS**

This was my favorite of the series thus far. It had engaging characters, tons of action, intrigue, gore and morally gray anti-heroes. It also was the PERFECT example of how a male omega can be integrated into a pack “platonically.” I know some reviews mentioned their dislike that Felix wasn’t romantically involved with the alphas, but I thought it was perfect. Felix and Juniper were a couple, they were an established omega-omega couple that had been doing well on their own for seven years. Felix doesn’t particularly like or trust alphas, and it wouldn’t have been believable to have him jumping into the sack with a bunch of psycho alphas, even if they claimed to be his pack. Also this was a RH so yes, Juniper was the center of the story and rightfully so. I loved how devoted the alphas were to her, and how devoted she was to Felix. I also thought this was the best example of a male omega in a RH, it highlighted how a male omega can be pack, and romantically involved with a female omega WITHOUT the need for unnecessary m/m plot devices. Too many RH these days, and too many omegaverse include gratuitous m/m m/m/m or more, as if adding graphic m/m furthers the plot. It doesn’t. Yes, there are some good working examples, like Avanne Michaels The Beta Series to name but one, but I feel like there is so much pressure on authors to add gratuitous m/m m/m/m etc these days because publishers seems to think that the only way to spice up the smut level is to have it included. Often the m/m relationships are awkward, and unnecessary, and frankly NOT SEXY, what’s more, they often take away from the FMC. I loved that this book gave us a beautiful melding of both worlds. A world where a male omega can be accepted by alphas NOT because he’s a “sexual” plaything or mate, but because he’s an equally important member of the pack, and beloved by the FMC!

I am in love with this series but this book takes the cake! I absolutely love psycho alphas but when the omega/omegas are unhinged as well, it makes it so much better!! I really enjoyed the characters and their relationships as well as the action scenes! I honestly would love more stories with these characters! I can't wait for the next book in this series!!! Highly recommend!!

Unhinged characters, not your regular OV book!

"Claimed by the Psychos" sounded like an awesome book to read. It's an Omegaverse, but it's certainly not like regular Omegaverse books! It involves two Omega assassins who are as thick as thieves, they're all they have in the world, and nothing can separate them. Felix (the male omega) is obsessed with her... his reason for living is practically keeping her safe. However, despite his longing to, he knows he can't be all that she needs. He's not an alpha, he has no knot, which is needed during her heats. He does his best, but it just isn't quite enough... He hates the vulnerability that being an Omega gives him, so to the world, he pretends to be an Alpha. Meanwhile, Juniper isn't just your regular Omega either. She sees shadows that no one else sees. Shadows that talk to her, that seem to know things. Oh, and, you know, that she's a highly skilled assassin, too.

You can understand the rest of the story by the blurb. They're given targets (a pack of Alphas who can themselves The Psychos) who end up being a scent match. Felix is upset at first because it's been him and Juney against the world for years, but he eventually realizes that they can help keep her safe. Juniper is slowly won over, but Felix takes more time.

Now, the review!

One thing I noticed that started getting a bit old was how the author used the same expressions over and over, the most frequent being how characters' voices sounded like they'd been "gargling gravel." Also, doing or saying things "with the subtlety of a sledgehammer." I'm all for creative writing and using similes, but I feel if someone is going to use them, they should at least change them up.

The book could use a round of editing, as well. At one point I was thinking this would be a book I would consider owning in hard copy, but I'd only buy it if it was gone over at least once by an editor. The biggest issue was words being spelled wrong. (I didn't make note of them all, but the last one in the book was "crow" instead of "crown.") There weren't a ton, but definitely enough to notice.

Lastly: If you like MM, there isn't a lot. It's all in the epilogue. If you DON'T like MM, don't worry - it's only in the epilogue! If you really hate reading it, you can just skip it and pretend Felix is only with Juniper. Personally, I'm not a fan of MM, generally speaking. I didn't mind it, however.

Overall thoughts: I didn't mind the book. I liked the characters, for the most part, but I feel we didn't really get to KNOW the Alphas all that well. Sure, we got their personalities, I guess. We didn't really learn about most of their pasts, though. Carlisle especially. We got to know their previous careers and that was mostly it. I did enjoy the basic idea of the story, the guys and their missions, Felix and Juniper's partnership and relationship, etc. I even liked her shadows! (Who I feel we understand even more than the Alphas, which is a bit sad.)

Would I recommend? Yeah, I would! I sound a bit hard on it, but it was still a good book. If you like unhinged psycho s+@bby characters, you'll likely enjoy this one.

This omegaverse story is not like your normal OV stories. Claimed by the Psychos has blood, gore, violence and I am here for it.

We meet Juniper and Felix when they are on a job. They are very attached to one another and honestly it kind of fits. We find out both of them have trauma and sometimes Juniper sees shadows.

We also meet Viper, Bane, Doctor, and Jackal who are vigilantes.. They are trying to help the omegas being taken and sold by an organization.

I really loved the fast paced novel as it left no room for lag. There was always something happening. Either with Juniper or with the trained Alphas. We also get to see what they do and a little backstory on Juniper and Felix.

I will say I wish we had seen more from Felix in terms of character development. It happened so late in the book that it felt like an add in.

Still loved the book very much and it is a great read if you're into omegaverse books.

Juniper, Felix and the Psychos

I adored these characters! Juniper is feral in all the best ways. She’s unique and gives any and all alphas everything they’d least expect. She’s a fireball! I love Felix and how he fiercely protects her. When they meet the Psychos, they’re a perfect match, even if Juniper and Felix are guarding themselves. I love that the Psychos didn’t push or force Juniper and Felix. They gained their trust and then realized they mold perfectly into the pack. I wish there was more of these characters because I loved them so much, but I can’t wait for the next fameverse book!

Hard to choose what to rave about!

I was skeptical when I started this book, but I love seeing different authors' takes on OV pack dynamics, and this one didn't disappoint.

I don't want to spoil anything, but one character doesn't fit the box of their designation, and so the author was *very* careful to always refer to that character by name, never designation. Those little details are everything. These are fully fleshed-out characters. Loved this HEA, loved everything about the alphas. Also, it has one of the best action scenes I've ever read - and the spice is good too!

Oh my precious psychos

Brilliant stand alone book

Absolutely loved the complexity of all the characters and the way they folded the FMCs mental health into her just general personality where it was recognised but made into something that had to be fixed or managed.

Thoroughly great read with no 3rd act break up or anything like that. Just solid they fall first, unhinged tendencies that are totally romantic in their own way

LOVED IT

Ah! This book was so good, it blew me away! Juniper was such a joy of a psycho FMC, Felix was heartbreakingly precious and the pack of damaged, deadly alphas complemented them perfectly! I loved the humour and banter sprinkled throughout and just seriously read it!

"She said she was fine, but Juniper's definition of fine includes active hallucinations and the occasional murder, so that's not exactly reassuring."

Claimed by the Psychos is the 3rd book in the Fameverse series by Harper Lennox and River Ramsy.

Dang, this book is so good. We get a fantastic characterization of the two Omegas, especially the 2 male Omegas and their character arcs are just amazing. We get an Alpha MMC like we have never seen before and they are just fabulous and we get to see so many different sides of these Alphas.

I enjoyed the storyline that both Harper and River created for this story and I loved how it allowed everyone to come together as a pack.

The Omegas had such a beautiful bond and just had my heart melting over and over again. You could see how much they loved each other and how true and pure that love was and it manifested in everything that they did. It was so stunning to watch the way the Omegas slowly opened up to adding the pack of Alphas to their small circle and more than that trusting the Alphas. Harper and River did such a stunning job in allowing this pack come together naturally and the relationships all felt so real and natural and it didn't feel like it was forced in any way.

Juniper, one of the two Omegas assassins and is as close as possible with her partner in crime Felix. She doesn't have the easiest life. She has hallucinations, she hears voices, and she is trying to deal with previous trauma, she's a little bit feral and completely naive and innocent in a lot of ways but she's not naive or innocent in any of the creepy ways. There is no infantilization with Juniper's character. I absolutely loved this FMC and I found her to be so well written and I loved her character development and her character arc. Juniper isn't your typical Omega, she can see shadows that talk to her, and seems to know things and this is on top of being a highly skilled assassin.

Felix the other Omega assassin and Juniper's other half has his own demons and truama. Felix is obsessed with Juniper and while he knows he's not an Alpha, he does his best when Juniper goes into heat and he does his best everyday to keep her safe. Felix hates his vulnerability that comes with being an Omega.

Then Felix and Juniper meet The Psychos. A group of Alphas, Carlisle, Elias, Archer, and Bane.

Carlisle he's the psycho that you are going to want to have in your corner any day of the week. He'll drop the bad guy as easy as if he's just breathing.

Elias is the Doctor of this pack. And having a doctor close by came in handy through this story. I think that he's actually the one who saved the day more than once and I came to really like him.

Archer is the pilot and he's also the teddy bear of the pack. I loved the moments between Archer and Juniper, she would fluster him a lot and that was so cute to read. There were moments when all I wanted to do was just cuddle up with Archer and pretend the rest of the world didn't exist. He was just a bit 'ol teddy bear of an Alpha.

Bane he was the lead Alpha of this pack and out of all the Alphas I found him to be the most dominating, and yet he wasn't pushy. I loved the way that he was kind and gentle as he took the lead with Felix and it was this relationship that really made the most sense to me. And this was even after Felix made his feelings on Alphas crystal clear, Bane still did everything that he could to keep Felix up to date and yet, Band would try and distract him when things got to dangerous.

I did want to see Felix have the opportunity to heal more, I wanted to see him have more time to heal and recover but I loved getting to see him open up to his relationship with the Alphas. I wish there had been an epilogue showing what happened after everything and showing the future of this pack.

If you enjoy unhinged psycho s+*bby characters, you'll like this book just like I did. I recommend this book as it is a fun book and I loved the psycho Alpha's.

"I could lie. Tell her she's fine. That the episodes aren't increasing in frequency. That she didn't spend twenty minutes last week having a conversation with someone who wasn't there. But lies are for marks, not for her."

"The shadows are getting louder. Sometimes they tell me things. True things. Like how that man back there has killed thirteen people. I could see them standing behind him."

I finished this book at 3am and knew I had to do the review when I woke up because this book deserves a good review.

Harper and River really went out with a bang on this one! 👏🏼 Don't get me wrong, I've loved this whole series so far. But this one? It's probably in my top four favorite reads this year - out of around 370. The ONLY negative I'll mention is that there are some spelling and grammar mistakes throughout the book, but I couldn't bring myself to dock a star for that because this was a really good book. IMO.

I know some readers are upset with the lack of MM (one scene at the end of the book), but I thought it made sense why it was minimal and why it was at the end of the book. We have Felix, who's gone through abuse and trauma, who is also very dominant and not what you'd consider a docile and sweet omega, so for his character to be in a vulnerable state with an alpha just wouldn't make sense. He's fought internally with his designation because he's never had the chance to be comfortable with it as an omega and doesn't relate to the expectations of an omega. I love that while yes, he used alpha enhancers, he just didn't want to be labeled as any designation but wanted to be something more in between. And wouldn't we want him to be happy and comfortable, no matter what his designation is? I really loved this, and that the authors not only put us on a journey with Juniper, but Felix too. I've seen some people say they feel like he was overshadowed, but I disagree. His growth from being completely closed off, even somewhat with Juniper, to gradually opening up more and more throughout the book to his realization that he wanted more. More out of his life with his pack and for his Juney. And of course, his pacing with the alphas - especially Bane - made sense for his character. Some people rush to the finish line, some take a stroll, some tiptoe, and some will take steps forward just to back up a few paces and repeat. Felix set his own pace and I loved that for him.

Juniper. Let me just say that I'm normally very, very picky with FMC's. A lot of the time, authors write them unrelatable or with common personalities, and I just end up disliking them. Not with Juniper. She was her own unhinged sweetness, and her humor was top-shelf gold. I loved her character; she didn't back down when situations were hectic and allowed herself to be vulnerable with Felix in her darkest moments - the whispers really just wouldn't leave our girl alone. I love characters that aren't the "norm" and have their own struggles and quirks. She had me laughing throughout the entire book - I'm not even joking when I tell you that I have over 700 highlights hahaha. Just be careful near chandeliers!

The Alphas:
Carlisle is obviously my favorite, which seems like a common thing amongst the reviews. He was unhinged and chaotic in all of the best ways. He related the most to our Juney and I loved that he was a no BS character. He spoke up when others stayed quiet. His unhealthy obsession was like candy for us smut readers. Jackal "the one the shadows scream warnings about." Ugh, loved him. And let's not forget his nickname for Juniper: hellcat. I LOVED it.
"She's traumatized."
"She's a killer."
"She's psychotic. In the clinical sense."
"Yes," Carlisle agrees cheerfully. "Perfect."

Bane + Elias + Archer.
I loved that Bane became a safe space for Felix and that he very obviously had a soft spot for Juniper. From the outside looking in, Bane was the epitome of how an alpha should be through and through. He was patient, understanding, respected boundaries, provided care, and was protective. I loved him. Elias was just as amazing, although his and Archer's characters didn't stand out as much to me, I loved both of them just as fiercely. Elias was determined to not be undermined because he was always calculated and collected. The edging scene was chef's kiss if you ask me. What I loved most about Archer is that he was the most "normal" character out of the alphas, not unhinged or having chaotic traits, but fit perfectly in their misfit family.

Do I wish for more from this pack? Yes, of course. But not because I feel like they weren't written properly - they were. But because this pack was SO good that I don't want to let them go lol.
Harper and River put magic in this book. (not literally obvs). And I have to mention the shadows/whispers, well freaking done 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 this was such an amazing part of the book.

Overall:
Spice: 4/5
MFMMM with light MM (one scene)
Banter: 5/5
Character Arcs: 5/5
Plot: 5/5
Omega Heat: Juniper x2 🔥

The omega assassins duo you didn’t know you wanted, until now. You’ve got Juniper, the female omega who’s wildly savage, and a tad bit touched. She’s a real baddie who has all her guys wrapped around her finger. Felix, her omega mate and partner in crime who is a combination of smart, fierce and extremely lethal. He’s got some major trauma that’s made him uncomfortable in his own skin, but that takes a backseat to protecting Juniper. He’ll stop at nothing to keep his girl safe. He keeps a routine regiment of Suppressants and Alpha perfume to mask his designation. We all know that can only work for so long. At times he’s really going through it. These omegas are both survivors who have carved a life for themselves in spite of the horrors they escaped from. Their past catches up to them when they accept a job to take down a pack of vigilante alphas who happen to be their scent matches. These alphas are pretty much unbeatable. Carlisle is a psycho that you totally want in your corner. He’s dropped bad guys like it was nothing. Elias, the Doctor of the pack was very handy throughout the whole story. I feel like he saved the day many times. Archer, the pilot was the most teddy bear of the pack. I enjoyed his moments with Juniper a lot. She had him very flustered, it was adorable to read. Bane, the head alphas was very dominating, but not pushy about it. He really took the lead with Felix. Their relationship made the most sense to me. Even though Felix made things clear about his stance with alphas, Bane still made the effort to keep him in the loop and distract him when things got to be too heavy. I will say, I wanted a little more for Felix as far as recovery and healing, but it’s all in the timing. He came a long way. In the future, I can see him being more open to exploring his relationship with his alphas. I would love an extra epilogue of their future.

Each story has its own wow factor and this one has my favorite kind. I’m a sucker for a Male and Female Omega mate pairing, who are completely obsessed with each other within one pack. The two omegas make the whole pack dynamic extra special. The alphas themselves did not feel like the main focus of the story, but they each had their moments that stood out. It’s safe to say, I’m hooked on this series. I read this so fast. Book 2 was fantastic! Just when I thought the writing can’t get any better, i’m proven wrong. Can’t wait for the next one.

This is hands down my absolute favorite Omegaverse read of 2025!

I am a sucker for two Omegas who put each other first, and Felix and Juniper had my heart in a vice grip as soon as I met them. They’re wrapped around each other in a way that calls to both trauma bonding and genuine love. They are their own different flavors of unhinged, and I am here for it. I love highly competent characters, extra points for being bad-ass Omegas.

The “Psychos” are an alpha pack that, with a name like that, you’d expect Four over the top psychopaths. (Turns out there was only one, and I am IN LOVE with him.) But in reality, the pack is a healthy mix of personalities and different styles of alpha. Most importantly, they do everything within their power to treat Felix and Juniper well, even when those two are walking talking dangerous red flags.

There are some very dark themes in this, but I would not call it a dark romance. And here’s why: Yes, Juniper and Felix have a shared history of abuse and sex trafficking, and the Psychos are neck deep in breaking these rings up and rescuing the hurt omegas. Several of our main characters struggle with their mental health, but they do not hurt EACH OTHER. This is a huge distinction. The pack relationship, while sometimes strained, is fairly healthy. They treat Juniper and Felix with nothing but respect and acceptance once they get past the whole trying to kill each other thing. (Talk about your meet-cutes!) They have such a healing dynamic that is like a balm in this world of hired mercenaries and underground omega trafficking.

I didn’t want to put this book down! It was pretty fast paced, while still giving room to grow. The story is a great blend of being both character and plot driven. If it wasn’t a plot point driving me to read the next chapter, it was a character development. I’m usually pretty responsible about going to bed in a timely manner, but that 88% taunted me into staying up late to finish. 10/10 would lose sleep for this pack again.

And the spice was *chefs kiss.* It was definitely more character and plot focused than it was spice centric, but when the scenes hit, they hit right.

Wow. This delivered on all fronts. Everything.

The length was great. The pacing was fantastic. The action to plot to spice was perfect (for me).

I loved the characters. We actually had characters who lived up to their hype. I don’t know how many times I’ve been disappointed by a mmc who is supposed to be “badass” but in reality is just emotionally immature + physically strong.

These Psychos were legit 👌🏼 I loved the brutality on a job mixed with gentleness for their omegas. I loved how they foiled the “bad guy”. I’ve never, in all my ov reading, seen Alphas resist a chemically forced situation like that. Never. Everyone, everywhere, in every ov book, always succumb. The control they had over themselves was present in all aspects of the book, and I loved that THIS was what sold these big men to the omega.

I loved that one omega was allowed to be outside of the classifications. They allowed him to just be him without any pressure, to grow into what he was comfortable with at his own pace. It was such a change from 98% of every other omegaverse book.

I adored the spice. Unique and individualised, never at any point did I feel like it had been copied and pasted from literally every spice scene ever written by other ov authors. This is exactly what I needed to see.

These omegas have to be one of my most favourite ever. I’ve come to realise that if there is a main character or two or an fmc who plans and executes those plans flawlessly…shoot that does it for me.
Juniper was a little crazy but in an innocent way. She delivered on all fronts. The way she could take down these military trained machines was poetic. Seeing Felix being an unfeeling, black and white logical assassin had me reaching for my hubby.

Just, the whole thing was so good. I’d 100% recommend this to anyone into ov. It even had a bit of banter 🥹😍

“Claimed by the Psychos” by Harper Lennox and River Ramsey
Series: Fameverse Book 3

Genre: Dark Reverse Harem Omegaverse Romance
Rating: 5⭐️
Spice: 5🌶️
Darkness: 5🩶
POV: Multiple

Highlights:
💙Why Choose MFMMMM
💙Non Shifter Omegaverse
💙Hidden Omega Assassin MMC
💙Omega Assassin FMC with Mental Health Issues
💙Alpha Special OPs Vigilante Team MMCs
💙Found Family
💙Fated Mates
💙Heats/Scent Matches/Marking/Knots

Thoughts:
There were so many things I loved about this dark and twisted Reverse Harem Omegaverse. The contract unaliver Omega pair that were taking down evil Alphas with their honey trap schemes-I couldn’t help cheering for them despite the messes they were making. Juniper was very twisted from past abuse, and the authors did a great job with her behaviours and the loving but overprotective support by a codependent Felix. I loved the mission of the psycho squad- freeing trafficked omegas and taking down evil Alphas. Things get real dicey when Junie and Felix get hired to take down the psychos team and the psychos get tricked into trying to take down Felix. They ended up being the perfect Alphas to help them, and together they make a great if dysfunctional pack.

The writing was so well done, almost poetic, and the intimacy scenes were super hot. The action scenes were also quite vibrant and very descriptive of the savagery the two teams dealt. On the whole, I loved this story with unaliving bad guys, high spice with some group scenes and the slow build of relationships with fated mates.

I absolutely loved this book! Juniper and felix are not your average omega, after surviving and escaping hell they embrace their darkness and love each other fiercely and unapologetically. Both are entirely unhinged and deadly and when their latest job leads them to their scent matched alphas their world tilts on its axis and they find themselves having to navigate a pack of alphas they never wanted or asked for. The psychos, bane, Elias, archer and Carlisle, are vigilantes ridding the world of those who target and exploit the weak and taking down omega trafficking rings when they find themselves targeted by an omega disguised as an alpha and his omega mate, who turn out to be their scent matches. The psychos will do anything and everything to protect and care for their omegas whether they want it or not, especially when it comes to hunting their biggest monsters felix’s brother and head of the serpents den.

I can’t say how much I enjoyed this book, it was just so good. Well written and paced, I was gripped from start to finish. The characters were well written and the chemistry between them all was 🔥 the story deals with a lot of heavy and dark tropes - trafficking, violence, SA, torture, mental health (ptsd, psychopathy, hallucinations) so please read trigger warnings and take care of your own mental health before deciding to read, BUT saying all that I think the authors dealt with these issues in a sensitive and respectful way and not in any deep descriptive way, it was all very well handled.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes reading Omegaverse or dark romance, with protective, caring alphas, and unhinged omegas who would sooner stan someone that hug them! This is not your normal sweet Omegaverse story!

I had a good time with this one! The writing style is super easy to fall into, the pacing keeps things moving, and I genuinely loved the characters, which made it hard not to enjoy myself. Juniper in particular had me laughing out loud more than once, and several of the male characters brought great banter and humor that balanced out the darker elements of the story.

Plot-wise, this follows a team of vigilantes trying to free omegas who are being trafficked, alongside an assassin duo who agrees to take out the vigilantes and then… very much does not do that. I really enjoyed the premise and how it unfolded, even if the spice definitely rivaled the plot. There’s a lot of it, so I’d rate this at a 4 🌶️ on my spice scale - definitely a bit much for my personal preference. It can be skipped without compromising the plot but there's so much of it that you'd be skipping a good chunk of the book. While the book is undeniably fun and entertaining, it’s not necessarily doing anything groundbreaking. That being said, it does include some meaningful depth—especially through darker backstories and discussions around mental health that add emotional weight to the story.

Overall, Claimed by the Psychos is a fun, spicy read with lovable characters, plenty of humor, and a plot that kept me engaged even when the spice took center stage. I’d recommend this to readers who enjoy darker omegaverse stories, high spice, morally grey characters, and fast-paced books that don’t take themselves too seriously while still touching on heavier themes. Thank you so much to BookSirens and the authors Harper Lennox & River Ramsey for the opportunity to read this ARC of Claimed by the Psychos!

I am torn between a 2 star and a 3 star rating but I did actually finish the book so I will go ahead and round up to 3. I really enjoyed the first 50% or so. Juniper and Felix together were lovely. Juniper and her shadows were also super enjoyable. I actually would have been very happy if this book was just about the 2 of them. Maybe could have added in Carlisle cause he was pretty fun. I think the only reason I liked this as much as I did is because all the characters are essentially serial killers and serial killer love stories are my current favorite thing. Juniper's heat is where it kind of started to go downhill for me. It got overly sex focused real quick and the confrontation with the brother did not really mesh well with the story for me. Parts of the ending were sweet but still very sex focused although it was nice to see Felix happy and participating.

I dropped the first book in this series at about 80% and I probably won't read any of the others although I did think that the alphas in this book were given more distinct personalities than in the first book.

I also found another reason why so many omegaverse stories don't really work for me. It's because my brain links omegaverse designations (alpha, beta, omega) with wolf shifters and obviously the characters don't usually shift in most of these novels. I liked the book Do You Even Hex, Bro? a lot and it is very similar to this book except the Alphas in that book are wolf shifters. I mean there are plenty of other things I don't like about omegaverse reverse harems but that is one I couldn't put my finger on until today.

Beautifully Broken, Brutally Perfect

I really, really, really enjoyed this book. From the very first page, I was hooked—but what truly surprised me was how much of my heart I ended up giving to Felix.

While it feels like the story is meant to center more around Juniper, I couldn't help but feel completely pulled into Felix’s journey. His story is so heartbreaking, layered with pain, strength, and a quiet kind of love that made me ache for him. The last few chapters? Absolutely raw and emotional. I might have shed a tear or two—okay, more than that—for Felix. He’s beautifully broken, deeply strong, and though he sees himself as hollow, there is deep love there. I felt everythingfor him.

That said, I loved Juniper. She’s bloodthirsty and chaotic in the best way—with this oddly endearing, positive energy. Her loyalty and devotion to Felix are unmatched, and his to her. What they’ve been through is unimaginable, but it’s forged a bond that’s unbreakable. She’s hilarious, terrifying, and a psychotic breath of fresh air. I adored her.

Their Alphas? Perfect. Each one of them felt like they were written to match these two uniquely beautiful omegas. Even Carlisle, with all his deliciously psychopathic tendencies, felt like a perfect fit. That Rut scene toward the end? Emotionally devastating in the best way—it tied everything together and truly showed how deeply these men love and cherish their omegas.

This book was brutal, tender, intense, and unforgettable. I already want to reread it just to feel everything all over again.

Claimed by the Psychos is the third in the authors’ Fameverse series, a collection of dark omegaverse books. This story focused on a pair of assassins who go up against a group of alpha assassins, and they might just be their scent matches. I received an advance review copy and my thoughts are my own. Thank you to the authors for my eArc.

Tropes and themes include:
✨Why choose (mfmmmm)
✨Codependent omega hitman duo (m&f)
✨Saving omegas
✨Their targets are their scent matches
✨Prior abuse and trauma
✨Unhinged chaos gremlin FMC
✨Omega in disguise
✨Heats/scent matches/knots
✨Masked MMCs
✨Hysterical banter

Rating: 4/5 Stars 3/5 Flames
Nicknames: Hellcat, Daddy Bear, Soldier Boy

The Lovely: I loved the FMC - she’s unhinged, thrives on chaos and will do anything to protect those she loves. I was continually cracking up at the things she said, delivered like it was the most normal thing to say. Her background and relationship with the other Omega was beautifully tragic and you could see and feel their love.

The Mundane: I would have liked to have seen more development of the four alpha MMCs, especially their personalities and relationships. I sometimes got them confused as I didn’t feel like they were distinguished enough from each other.

Recommendation: I always look forward to new books in this series and the authors never fail to do something unique with the designations. If you like a darker omegaverse story with two omegas and a pack that wants to gain their trust and love, I think you would like this book.

Being an omega is supposed to be a beautiful experience with the correct alpha. In the other worlds, omegas are used for money by those who want to do whatever they need or want to one. They torture them in many ways that usually break them. One of the biggest operations known has created two deadly omegas…Juniper and Felix.
They are the deadliest duo for hire since they escaped his brother. Felix presents as an alpha. Four alphas exist as one of the deadliest units around risking all by saving omegas. When they run afoul the duo, things take a very interesting turn.
They were hired to permanently take them off the face of the Earth. What they found instead is their scent matches. They are both broken but by no means weak. The alphas want to protect and spoil them. The duo has not made up their minds about what they want from the alphas. An interesting battle occurs within each to struggle through personal demons and to make a pack.
When the past comes rolling forward, the only thing the six can think about is vengeance and justice their way. When they are captured, the owner of the operation will make a huge mistake that can cost him everything. Who will escape? Who will perish? Will the six be able to make that pack? In an astounding messy, bloody, high heat, action-packed new book and series, come read Juniper’s and Felix’s stories to see what they suffered through to gain the ultimate prizes.

This story was such a ride!
I found it incredibly original and unique — Juniper and Felix are omega criminal assassins, and their painful past is exactly what shaped them into who they are now: psychopathic, lethal, intelligent, and fiercely protective and possessive of one another.
I loved their first encounter with the pack — full of action, tension, and danger.
But what I loved most was how the bond slowly starts to form between all of them.
With trust issues, enemies, trauma, and a good dose of shared psychopathy, they gradually start to form a true pack — united, dangerous, and willing to burn the world to protect each other.
I really appreciated how patient the alphas were with Juniper and Felix, taking the time to earn their trust and understand their scars, never forcing them.
Especially Felix — his resistance lasts almost to the very end, yet he still recognizes that Juniper needs their alphas and even encourages her to open up and allow herself happiness with them, which makes his eventual acceptance of the pack feel incredibly satisfying.
Even in the intimate scenes, there’s always consent, care, and patience — yet without losing any intensity. They’re still incredibly passionate and spicy. And I absolutely loved the connection between Juniper and Felix — they would truly die for each other.
