Daniel the Double Decker is thrilled to be out in the world and heading to his new job. On the way his driver stops so he can look at the seaside. Daniel thinks it is beautiful and he can't wait to take people there. But he soon finds out that he's too tall to fit under the bridge on the seaside route and is destined only to drive up and down the city streets. But one day, Clarence breaks down, leaving a whole class of children stranded. Daniel may just get to go to the seaside after all!
