My first ever ARC read and this book did NOT disappoint. I have always loved reverse harems, however this one was completely different in all the best ways. I'm not going to lie, at first I was taken aback. I am more used to the cutesy reverse harems. But this one has a touch of darkness and a very intriguing story line. Did this story keep me wanting to know more, YES!!!!

I absolutely love Atticus and how smart he is. Sign me up for some of Storm's crazy. Who doesn't love a little humor which Maverick has in spades. Then you have Conrad who I am still trying to figure out how I feel about him, but definitely seems to be the alpha of that 4 way pack/brotherhood. And then you have Phoenix who is just trying to survive life.

Would I be able to just pick one of the Titans.......Absolutely NOT. Am I here for some touch and her die moments......Absolutely YES.

I can't wait for book 2 to come out, because I am dying to know how this story ends!!!!

One of my first ARC books, and I was not disappointed. I read this all in one go, so let's start there. It's a page-turner. I didn't even realize it was almost 5am when I finished the book. It was just that good. I am striving to make this a spoiler-free review.

The characters were unique enough to stand apart, and I'm a big fan of multi-POV. Phoenix is an easily likeable FMC, even though I found myself saying out loud several times "JUST COME CLEAN ALREADY." She's unique, with a firebrand personality. Harboring a lot of baggage from her Father's gambling addiction, I don't blame her for being unwilling to trust something that seems to good to be true (it usually is). She often finds herself in sketchy situations, and I think that's the only gripe I had about her - she's often a damsel. She's also not a very good liar, which honestly added to her endearing character, like she's trying to Mother Hen everyone without really knowing how to or why.

Now, the Titans. I won't lie, I was ABSOLUTELY drawn in by them, and I get why Phoenix is, too. Surprisingly, my least favorite was Con, who seemed to have an extraordinarily short fuse. Atticus was a character I wanted more of with his more charming personality. Maverick brought much-needed comic relief, able to crack a joke about just about anything. Who I felt robbed of not getting more of? Storm. He's a tortured soul that I can't really place why I was basically obsessed with him. (Maybe it's my own villain kink talking).

The spicy scenes in this novel? 10/10. They were as depraved as I wanted them to be. The storyline? A solid 8/10. There were a couple points where I was kind of confused, and some things that felt like they were never actually answered for. However, I understand that this is part of a series, and it left me desperate for Book 2 - especially with the cliffhanger ending. The Mafia members that appeared in this book were essentially goons, and pretty goofy aside from their power plays, and were a much-needed relief to the scenes they were in (albeit extremely violent).

So is there violence? Yes. Murder? Yes. Does the FMC have some play with all four of the MMCs? Oh, yes, she does. And it was delightful. Was there misunderstandings? Yes, one of my not so favorite tropes but it was handled in a way that I didn't mind. Cheating? NO. A blessing.

I'm definitely awaiting Book 2's arrival to devour more of this series.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Plot: 5/5 • Smut: 4/5 ————-> This was a wonderful RH/WC. She’s trying to pay off her father’s debt (he’s dead) by taking a contract to basically babysit/monitor 4 “titans” of the casino world. One of the titans is her ex boyfriend. (Whom she broke up with bc she had feelings for all of them)

The people who she owes money to don’t just want money. They’re out for revenge and want to use her as an example. Stakes are high. Emotions and feelings are high. I love Phoenix as our FFC. She doesn’t seem to break easily and endures more than most people should.

The smutty scenes are great. Lots of group effort here. No MM even though no one is related. 🤷🏻‍♀️

MMCs - Morally Grey
Tropes - Reverse Harem, Second Chance, Enemies to Lovers, Crime/Underground, Rich MMCs, Some BDSM, Suspense
MMMMF (So far no MM)
Absolutely ate this book up. Reverse Harem/Why Choose is one of my favourite tropes, so this was a treat. FMC had fire and personality, which is a plus too. Finished this in 6 hours. Love the MMC - Con, Storm, Atticus and Maverick. Storyline/Spicy is great balance for me. Ends on a cliffhanger…. and cannot wait for book 2 to come out. Get on your TBR x

Wow! Have you ever come across books that you just CANT put down?? No?? Only me?? Well this was one of those books! Hot and steamy and full of adventures and twists and turns! Leaves you wanting more!

Phoenix is one strong willed and grab what/who(in this case whom) you want. Sassy, strong and full of life. Determined to make a way for herself while enjoying the ride. The Titans have met their match with her.
As for the men I have yet to figure out who is my favorite they all have special characteristics about them that make you love all of them. Put all the qualities together and you have the perfect man of everyone's dreams. I love how they all work together to protect Phoenix and also explore their own desires.
I cant WAIT to read the 2nd book and see how this story ends. I feel bad for her/them. How do they pick who ultimately ends up with her and who walks away. Also solving the mystery if who is making the staff disappear and ultimately also getting the mob to leave Phoenix alone. Will be interesting to see how it all plays out!

Thank you to the author who allowed me to read this eARC of the book. You never know when your going to come across another book that you didnt know you needed in your life! GREAT job on a phenomenal book. Cant wait to read more !!!!!!

Who doesn't like a dark romance with some Why choose? Some mystery? And mafia!

Phoenix is in major trouble. Her father has recently died, and his debt to the casino? Has moved onto her. So besides grieving her father, she's also in some very dangerous territory. The people who run it? Dangerous af.

A deal is made. She'll get close to the four heirs of the Titan Wynn. And what they're hiding. Conrad, her ex, Storm, Atticus, and Maverick.

Its dark! There's mystery and spiiiiice. Phoenix goes THROUGH it. The Titans really run her through it. But although she does get put through the ringer , she's got resilience.

Can NOT wait for book 2!

Story and spice!!
New author to me and I enjoyed this book - flew through it in a day or two (was very reluctant to put it down 😅) it was gripping in that you wanted to know what moves the Titans were going to make with our FMC next and if they were ever actually going to get on the same page!
Phoenix is a firecracker who’s been struggling to survive let alone live since her father has left her in a s*%! Tonne of trouble and the mob are coming calling 😣 it forces her to accept deals she never thought she would and puts her very dangerous crosshairs as she’s forced to become the Titans babysitter 😅
It’s clear that all four guys have an innate connection to Phoenix but some are denying it more than others…Con was her first and it appears he hasn’t got over the heartbreak of her walking away or the reality that no-one will ever live up to her; Maverick appears to be the softer of the group and feels that instant pull but is rather mistrusting and quick to react; Atticus is the first to want to hold out girl to account and punish when she deserves whisky also making sure she stays where she should belong; and then there’s Storm troubled beyond belief but finds solace in the girl who evokes a tempest within him! They are act unique and have a different sort of relationship with our FMC 🥰 and yikes the spice rating in this one is 🌶️🌶️🌶️ with several kinks explored! Looking forward to the next of this duet and finding out more about the wider storyline of the missing staff as well as whether these five can all get on the same page 😆

As a reader, you know that when you read a book tagged reverse harem, mafia, or billionaire, you are way closer to fantasyland than reality. Expecting things to be realistic is a no-go, and I try my best not to let it affect my evaluations. Four guys being interested in the same girl, despite having vastly different personalities, and her being able to cater to all their physical and mental needs, and liking it, is precisely such an unlikely scenario that you have to go along with.

I wobbled between 4 and 5 stars for a while, but ultimately settled on five because this book turned out to be one of those that keeps you up until 3 am, as you can't stop reading until you've finished it.

The blurb suggests the book might have a high level of spice, but the considerable variety of spice, both in level and activities, took me by surprise. Nothing too out there, in my opinion. I think most readers will find something to their taste.

The characters are colorful and somewhat complex. The guys' (not yet men) personalities and behaviour are darkened by much trauma from their childhood, mommy/daddy issues, and being raised with money and on the grey side of the law. Phoenix, although also affected by a lack of parental love, has been strengthened by having to survive in harsher living conditions.

What I enjoyed most, though, was the mind games between Phoenix and the guys. Granted, she didn't know exactly what or why she was playing, but she didn't give an inch without them earning it. They all, even she, thought she was at a great disadvantage in their situation, but oh, how easily the tables turn.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Welcome to the Titans’ world — where danger is sexy, loyalty is twisted, and power comes with a price. House Rules is a dark reverse harem mafia romance that doesn’t hold back. Phoenix finds herself tangled up with the Titans, a group of dangerously irresistible antiheroes who blur every moral line imaginable.

🔥 What I Loved:
• Phoenix is that perfect mix of broken and bold — her growth and struggle with trust hit hard.
• The tension? Off the charts. Every scene crackles with chemistry and chaos.
• Those dark, possessive vibes? Evie Rae nails the push-and-pull between control and obsession.

⚠️ What to Know Before Diving In:
• This one’s dark. Think violence, manipulation, and power plays — not for the faint of heart.
• Definitely a 18+ read. Explicit scenes and strong language throughout.

💋 Final Thoughts:
If you love your romances messy, dangerous, and emotionally charged, House Rules will have you questioning your morals and fanning yourself at the same time. Dark, steamy, and absolutely addictive — once you meet the Titans, there’s no going back.

This is the first ARC I’ve done and let me tell you I’m a fan of Evies for life.
I’m not going to lie, It’s very hard to earn a 5 star review from me but I’m not joking when I say I wish I could give this one a 6.
This book is 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It’s got all the good stuff.
Phoenix- A kick ass FMC broken by circumstances but not willing to back down.
Then her men. Good god! All morally gray and just a little messed up.
Conrad- her EX, the leader with a god complex (for good reason) 🍆
Maverick- the one that wants to burn the world for her 🔥. He’s a total sex attic with the charm and whit to back it up.
Storm- 😍 he’s my favorite. The knife throwing psycho. He sees all his broken pieces in her and intends to mend them both.
Atticus- he’s the Super smart always put together control freak. The Dom of Doms. Just looking for her submission which she is more than willing for him to take.

Ladies and gentlemen you need to RUN and read this book. I’m on pins and needles waiting for the next one. The wait is going to kill me.

ARC REVIEW
This book was definitely a page turner. At first phoenix doesn't know what to do with her life. She keeps working at the casino where she runs into 4 men she didn’t think she would see again! After her life is threatened and she gets an offer to babysit the 4 men again to keep them in line she doesn’t expect them to turn her life upside down. They try to break her and she pushes back to show she belongs. When her troubles show up at their front door step she has no choice but to play their rules. Con, Atticus, storm, Maverick show her just how much they want her in the end when they know she has won and them over. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a RH with a lot of spice and danger!

The Titans - Conrad, Maverick, Storm & Atticus are casino heirs with plenty of money and little respect for the sliding doors of women that come & go out of their bedrooms. Phoenix (who now works for them) has a long history with them especially Conrad but a lot has changed since she knew them well. Now she's back in their orbit but she has a lot of her own and her late father's baggage to deal with. Only getting involved with them is more problematic as well as very dangerous too. Dropping her into their dark world with steaminess intertwined. That cliff-hanger ending was a real jaw dropper. Bring on book 2 now because I can't wait to get my hands on it.

I received an ARC

I really enjoyed this book and was hooked from the very first page. The story pulled me in immediately, making it a thrilling read. I wasn’t aware that it was part of a series, which was a pleasant surprise. While I appreciated the book, I found myself waiting for certain key events to happen, feeling like the story was building up to something more. However I think that was due to my not knowing it was not a standalone. Overall, it was an engaging read, and I look forward to exploring the rest of the series to see how the story unfolds.

This book is pure smut. From beginning to end. If that's your thing, then you will love this book!

The descriptions had me in the room with all 4 boys and loving every second of it. The fierce bond between the boys is something to envy.

I received an advanced review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily

The only thing I would have liked more of was a plot. There is a story intertwined with all of the smut and it was good! I want more of it. I want to know who each person is. I want to know more about how they all came together, who they are. Where do they go from here? Book 2 maybe?!

🎲🔥 5-STAR ARC REVIEW: House Rules by Evie Rae 🔥🎲
📅 Releasing September 9, 2025

From the very first chapter, House Rules had me completely hooked. Phoenix pulled me straight into her world of desperation, grief, and razor-sharp survival instincts—and I couldn’t look away. Even when she was debating whether or not to steal Conrad’s fancy watch and run (😂), I knew this story was going to own me.

🌹 What Worked For Me

The Titans: Conrad, Storm, Maverick, and Atticus are everything a girl could want in her morally gray, casino-heir antiheroes. Dangerous, magnetic, impossible to ignore.

Storm was my favorite from the get-go. He carved (iykyk 😏🔪) his way into my heart and refused to leave.

Maverick was an easy second favorite—charming and bold.

Conrad and Atticus still have me intrigued, and I know they’re hiding layers that book two will peel back.

Phoenix: I adored her. She’s smart, conflicted, and stubborn as hell. The way she tries to balance her debt to the mob with the undeniable pull she feels toward the Titans had me yelling at my Kindle: “Girl, just tell them already!” 😂

The slow-burn tension: Thank god it wasn’t too slow. The pacing was just right—enough build to make the payoff electric, but never dragging. The sparks between Phoenix and the Titans kept me breathless.

The stakes: The backdrop of the casino, the mob debt, and the mysterious disappearances raised the tension at every turn. It wasn’t just a romance—it was a high-stakes game where the rules were deadly.

✨ Final Thoughts

Evie Rae has crafted a decadent, dangerous world of gold-drenched halls, twisted power games, and men you know you should stay away from—but can’t. House Rules is dark, addictive, and impossible to put down.

Storm owns me, Phoenix is a queen, and that cliffhanger has me feral. September 9 can’t come fast enough, and I am already counting down the days until book two.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 5 — Dark, delicious, and unputdownable.

📚ARC REVIEW📚

Plot-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice-🌶️🌶️🌶️.5

This is my first time reading a story from Evie Rae and oh my I’m now hooked.
The writing style grips you from the beginning with excellent storytelling, character building and before you know it you are 50% in and loving every moment even though you have forgotten your responsibilities as an adult and you read way past bedtime to be a functional human the next day.

The writing style is descriptive, flows eloquently that it’s easy to forget time because you’re so invested in the characters because they aren’t your typical MMC(s) and FMC you come to find in a lot of romance books they have more realistic characteristics to them and yet the red flags are still there and still make you want them and want to be the FMC,

This story follows a down on her luck woman, Phoenix. Dealing with the sudden death of her father and left to deal with life and the world alone. Years of being told she’s a nobody, not good enough for anyone she puts up her armor and takes on each day just trying to make it. Working in a prominent casino resort as a maid owned by very affluent families. She’s familiar with the heirs to the dynasty, one of the men was her ex boyfriend (Conrad) who she broke up with because she was being told she was nothing but scum and unworthy. She broke his and her own heart to protect him. But that’s not how he saw it. He still holds resentment and in the years that’s past he and his best friends (Maverick, Atticus and Storm) form a brotherhood known as The Titans. These 4 have their own scars and darkness but they all have one thing they can’t stop obsessing over, Her.
When an opportunity comes their way to bind her to them they put the gears in motion to make it happen.

This is a whirlwind of mafia ties, power and money but also has scorching spice that keeps you turning the pages I’m now desperate to start book 2 because this genius author knows how to leave us in suspense and gave us a great cliffhanger.

I cannot wait to dive back into this universe because I’m now fully invested and need to know how this story ends for our characters because I got a feeling there are more plot twists on the horizon.

IF YOU WANT SPICE, INTRIGUE, INTENSE CHEMISTRY & SO MUCH MORE IN YOUR RH THIS IS IT!!

Hands down one of my favorite why choose/RH reads this year!! The author did not play around here with the spice it's top-notch filthy goodness with an unputdownable storyline that keeps you hooked and needing more!!

I loved that there is a mystery of who and what the Titans are all about and how far Phoenix is willing to gamble for her freedom. She's left with no real options since her father's passing away leaving his debt upon her head to the mob or become a babysitter for the rich and ruthless Titans for enough money to make her troubles disappear. Will she be able to learn their secrets and feed them to the mob as payment or will she be broken in ways she's never known by the four men who have become her enemies now? Will Conrad, Storm, Atticus, & Maverick find that their little bet to break Phoenix causes more feelings than they want to admit they have been harboring for years.

The twists & turns will have you devouring this one as fast as you can. If you love your why choose/RH dark & steamy with a good helping of depravity this is an absolute must read!! I can't stress that once you start you can't quit till the last page which leaves you wanting more & a cliffhanger hangover. What you can expect is mystery, intrigue, enemies-to-lovers, BDSM vibes, resilient fmc, rich ruthless mmcs, secret society, dark themes, and so much spicy goodness that it could be classified as a one handed read here lol.

A Must read for any reader who loves a good intense dark why choose/RH that will have you questioning everything as the story unfolds. A DEFINITE MUST HAVE!!

Overall: 5/☆☆☆☆☆
Spice: 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶

3.75/5⭐️

This book is intense — in the best way. It starts off with a really strong scene that sets the tone and gives a bit of background before diving into the story.

Phoenix is such a strong FMC, especially given everything she has gone through (and is still going through). She’s also stubborn, which plays a huge role in the constant miscommunication throughout the book. I don’t mind some miscommunication as a plot driver, but I wish we had seen more resolution and actual conversations to clear things up, especially between her and Con.

Each character brought something different, but Storm was my standout. He’s intense, truly sees Phoenix for who she is, and while he’s meant to be scary, his sweeter side shines through with some really touching lines. There were also some little touches I loved, like Maverick constantly getting Sarah’s name wrong.

All the boys are deeply damaged and reluctant to admit they need Phoenix just as much as she needs them, yet her strength is exactly what they need. That said, I wish we’d seen more growth and healing in their relationships and that they’d came to this realisation sooner. Too much time was spent filled with unnecessary hate and petty behaviour because they refused to talk things out. At times, their actions felt unreasonable and manipulative, which left an icky feeling.

I wasn’t expecting that ending and how intense it got, but it definitely has me wanting to continue with the series. Clearly, some things were left unresolved to keep us hanging for the next book, and I’m hoping we’ll get what we need, and maybe even a HEA.

A few small mistakes and inconsistencies aside, this was a solid read that kept me turning the pages.

This book absolutely wrecked me, in the best possible way.
From the first page, I was swept into a world of wealth, danger, and desire, and I never wanted to leave.
The four men who own and rule Titan Wynn are everything I crave in a dark romance: powerful, untouchable, dangerous, seductive and absolutely depraved.

Each one brings his own flavor of danger and passion… I think Storm is my fav… for now but Maverick might have that changing.

Phoenix had me rooting for her from the start. She is strong, sharp, and looking for a way out of a situation she was put in… whatever the cost.
Even as she’s drawn deeper to the Titans she is fighting not to lose herself completely, but realizing soon that she may lose that fight.
The chemistry between her and the men is electric. The tension is off the charts, there are deliciously twisted mind games, and the scorching heat had me reading well into the night with no regard for the next morning.

What I loved most is that it’s not just steamy, though there is plenty of that… but it’s layered.
The darker themes aren’t tiptoed around, they are handled with edge and grit, but there’s also heart, loyalty, and just enough vulnerability that I felt every moment.

If you’re a fan of reverse harem, dark romance, or stories that blend wealth, power, and heat into a single explosive cocktail—do yourself a favor and pick this up immediately. I’m obsessed, I’m ruined, and I’m counting the days until the next book.

One of the best RH dark romances I’ve ever read.

Phoenix and The Titans🥰

Usually when I do my review, I do a little story about the two main characters. But this story, I can’t do that so here we go!

Phoenix Jones is in need of money and fast. Her dead father owns the mafia money but he took the coward way and killed himself. Now shes stuck to find a way to get the money pronto or she will be use to pay the debt. Her only hope is the Titans. Phoenix goes to Conrad, her ex boyfriend, so she can steal a watch worth 200k and start her life somewhere else. But he caught her. And since his father wants a babysitter for him and his friends to stay out of trouble, he suggested Phoenix. So for the next year, she will have to do everything the men said, no questions asked. For that, she will have 1.2M. But what she doesn’t know is that Conrad, Maverick, Storm and Atticus had all a crush on her since they were kids. And between them, they have a game. The one she will go beg to be with him, will be the winner and have her for him only. So let the game begin!!!

I found E.G. Whyte while reading the Sons of the Mafia co written with Vi Carter and I love her! I didnt know she was writing reverse harem under an other name. Evie Rae. This is not my kind of tropes but I was really curious so I read it . And she just blew me away! I read it in two hours! With that story, she just made me love the tropes🤣 The only downside is that it’s a series and not a standalone. I will have to wait for October 6 to see what is next in the Double Double book. Really I’m so obsessed with the men, she might have ruined every other MMC I ever read!! Congrats! 5⭐️

ARC Review

House Rules is a dark why choose romance, following Phoenix, a poor woman, who works as a maid, in the Titan's Resort. Phoenix is faced with a decision to pay off her dad's debt to the mob by taking up the offer to "babysit" the Titans. The Titans are the four men from her past; the ones she cannot help but feel attracted to.

This was as expected...Spicy. From chapter 1, you get spice on the page and sets the tone for the entire book. I think it was an interesting read for those who like spice and why choose romances. However, there were certain things that kept pulling me away from the world itself. Although it is set in modern world, the modern language and lingo threw me off a few times. However, it does not stop me from reading the book.

The characters are interesting because I like that there was history between all of them and that each MMC had a motive for wanting the FMC. I will admit that I did not connect with the FMC. I feel like I was more frustrated with her choices and all the omissions she did from the Titans. As for their relationship, I feel like it fell a bit flat for me. There was sexual tension for sure but that's all I got from them.

Overall, I think the plot was interesting but it did not hook me in as much as I would like. That being said, I still think that it was a great read for those who like spicy why choose romances and forced proximity. It does have the Cinderella aspect because she is poor and has an opportunity to be used and pampered with the Titans.

Thank you to Quirky Heart PR and the author for the opportunity to read this as an ARC.

House Rules plunges readers into the glittering, gritty underworld of the Titan Wynn—a floating palace of sin, secrets, and high-stakes power games. This isn’t your typical riverboat casino, and Phoenix Jones isn’t your typical heroine.
Dragged into a world she never wanted, Phoenix finds herself entangled with four dangerously compelling men: Conrad, the calculating leader; Atticus, the cold strategist; Maverick, the charming chaos; and Storm, the brooding protector. They don’t just run the casino—they run the city’s underworld, and now, they want her.
This reverse harem romance doesn’t pull punches. The chemistry crackles, the steam is blistering, and the emotional tension is just as intense as the physical. Each man has a unique pull, and watching Phoenix navigate her shifting loyalties, desires, and survival instincts is both thrilling and emotionally raw.
What House Rules does brilliantly is balance high-stakes suspense with deeply intimate moments. Behind the opulence of the Titan Wynn lies something far more dangerous: betrayal, mafia threats, and a twisted sense of family that blurs the line between love and obsession.
If you’re into:
✨ Morally gray antiheroes who don’t apologize for the darkness they wield
💋 Deliciously possessive romance with a heroine who refuses to be tamed
🎲 A high-stakes setting where danger and desire walk hand in hand
🔥 Scorching steam that doesn't hold back
🖤 Found family vibes, wrapped in betrayal, power, and passion
Then House Rules is your next must-read obsession.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ / 5
Prepare to fall hard—and maybe a little dangerously—in love.

I think I just found my new series obsession! One of my favorite series of all time is the Forsyth University Series by Angel Lawson and Samantha Rue and I’ve been looking for something that would scratch the itch I have for a dark bully reverse harem since I read those books over a year ago. “House Rules” finally fills that void for me! Granted, it’s not nearly as dark as the Forsyth books, but it has similar elements, namely a high level of suspense and mystery, a contractual relationship, a vulnerable yet incredibly strong and resilient FMC, and a harem of completely obsessed men.

I’m new to this author and I’m thrilled to have discovered her work. I found the writing to be strong and the pacing to be just right. As is needed in any reverse harem story, the MMCs were distinct and had their own unique POVs. I also appreciated how Evie Rae found a great balance between the harsh bullying and the soft romance elements. While there was coercive control of Phoenix by the men, she was still written as a character with agency and her own goals and motivations. The casino setting also added a unique element to the story and I loved how all the characters were constantly playing games, literally and figuratively.

I think anyone who is a fan of bully romances and dark why choose romances in the vein of the Forsyth University series or Penelope Douglas’ Devil’s Night series will be totally captivated by this book. Can’t wait for the next installments to come out!.

Thank you to the author and Booksprout for the opportunity to read this ARC!

If you need a reverse harem that will make you hold on to every word until the very last sentence. Please read the trigger warnings before reading because there is mention of suicide, death, blood, gore, rape, drugs, alcohol, and tons of mature sexual content!

It starts out with Phoenix who has worked at the Titan casino as a maid and has been around the casino her whole life because her late father worked there as well. She has a very interesting connection to the resort especially to the owner's son, Conrad. He is a part of a group called the Titans with his three wealthy friends Storm, Atticus, and Maverick. They know that women want them and they use that to their advantage, but all of them want one specific maid that works there. When her dad's past catches up to her she gets an offer that she can't refuse: essentially be the Titans babysitter for year and all her problems will go away with a lot of money. Will feelings get in the way? Can she handle a year with them? Will her past come between anything that could happen?

I thought this book was fantastic! This was exactly what I needed and I loved it. The story flowed at the right pace, each POV was written perfectly for each person I feel like I know them somehow. I'm so excited for book 2. Keep in mind this does end in a cliffhanger!.

Wow, what a book! This is only book one and left us on a cliffhanger. Phoenix was in love with the Titans, or if it wasn’t love it was pretty close to it. Connor and Phoenix were dating in high school, but when she realised that she was attracted to all four of them, she broke it off with Connor out of fear that he would learn of her attraction. Now it’s years later and she is working as a maid in their casino resort and she is propositioned with a contract for a year where they own her and do anything they want to her in that year. it was either that, or she became a working girl for the mob, she felt their proposition was better than working as a prostitute for the mob because her father owed them thousands of dollars.

I have to say this book was pretty rough and highly sexually geared. But when staff are missing from the casino, especially after a party that the boys have enjoyed, everything points to them. Maverick, Atticus, Storm and Connor will do everything they can to protect Phoenix from the mob, but when I made is founded in their apartment, they know it’s a warning, and this is where the story ends to be continued in the next book.

I absolutely loved this book.
The FMC, Phoenix, seems timid at first, weak. But she is so much stronger than anyone gives her credit for. Not many people could handle the Titans.

The banter between characters was perfect. Everytime one of the MMC’s told her something dirty, I swooned a little. Bad boys with dirty mouths are just 🥵 especially Storm & Atticus.

This book has a great plot too. It’s more than just spice, it also tells a story. One that doesn’t fully unfold in this book, but I know will continue to do in the second. The ending makes you NEED to know more. It wasn’t a cliffhanger, per se, but you just know there’s more that needs to be said.

And those spicy scenes? Whewwww 🤯 had me wishing i was Phoenix. Some of the things these men do…. Boy oh boy. I can’t wait to see how they up their game next.

All in all, this book was a 5 star read for me. The plot, the characters, the spice. All of it. I am absolutely HOOKED & already impatiently waiting for book 2 in October.

First off...... four words: Storm, Con, Atticus, and Maverick… please hold while I savor that part real quick. These guys are all the red flags, I mean green flags, you need in life lol.

Can I choose one? UM NO, all please!

These guys are living the life, doing whatever they want, whoever they want, and have the money to enjoy it all. Then we have Phoenix, who just happens to be the wrong-side-of-the-tracks type, and bonus, has history with a certain Titan. This only adds to the turmoil these characters face throughout the story. Poor Phoenix can’t catch a break. I felt for her. And what these boys put her through… not cool boys, not cool.

This story carries a few things, such as relationship drama in SPADES (pun intended). Phoenix is not about to give up (determined FMC, yes!), and these Titans put her through some stuff. Men sometimes, am I right? Twisted into it all is some unaliving mystery that adds even more tension.

Steamy scenes, you ask? Cause we all need to know how much spice is in here. No worries, my book friends-plenty of pages of that mixed in too.

And Evie, you are too cruel to end this on a cliffhanger, but now I am impatiently waiting for book two to know more. Is it too soon to ask if it is ready yet?

Book 1 of The Titans Duet

This is one of the best dark reverse harem books I've read in a long time. Evie Rae had my attention from beginning to end. I was held prisoner with these exciting characters and an intense plot. With a suspenseful mystery, danger, and hot development of a RH I was on the edge of my seat devouring the pages. YUM!

Tropes:
Why-choose
Billionaires
Mafia
Revenge
Kink
Second chance
Anti-hero
Alpha
Possessive/Obsessive
Protective
Morally-gray
Found Family

Multiple POV
Phoenix is our BA/resilient/feisty FMC these men can't get enough of.
The MMCs are The Titans:
Conrad aka Con is her ex and his best friends Maverick, Atticus, and Storm (all her childhood friends and crushes). These men have the best mix of intelligence, psycho, humor, and alphahole. This is why it's a why-choose romance, you can't just pick one sexy anti-hero.

I couldn't get enough of the chemistry and verbal sparring these characters had with each other. I loved how their relationships developed.  I was fanning myself through 90% of this book.

I recommend this book to you dark romance reverse harem lovers. It's deliciously dark, twisted, intense, and sexy.

That cliffhanger has me eagerly anticipating book 2.
