Rate this book
A year after finding love in the ruins of pain, Reason Alexander and Serenity Jones are finally walking down the aisle, but in Detroit, nothing is ever simple.
What is supposed to be a weekend of joy turns deadly when enemies resurface. With his family threatened, Reason is forced to protect the life he’s building. Alongside his wild twin cousins, Vice and Valor, Reason goes to war the only way he knows how.
Serenity leans on love, faith, and sisterhood as she prepares for the biggest day of her life. When the dust finally settles, nothing outshines the moment she walks down the aisle. This isn’t just a wedding. It’s a vow of homecoming, a celebration of healing, forgiveness, and Black love that endured every storm when Serenity finally says her summer vows to her Detroit Gangsta.

The end…

This book picked up where we left off in the first one. I’m glad there was no unnecessary drama added to the equation.

I really wish he was killed off in the first book🤷🏽‍♀️🤣. Kilo should’ve did what his cousin Tori did and got ghost and left Reason tf alone. And Chrome talked all that ish about Ace, but he was an even bigger snake playing both sides. They both got exactly what they deserved.

Reason & Serenity🤎. These two embraced all the craziness together, never allowed any of it to come between the life and love they were building together. I loved their support system cause they most definitely kept them grounded through the craziness and reminded them of the bigger picture. Although there were a few bumps in the road leading up to their big day, Reason insured Serenity that she would have her perfect day. With the help of his twin cousins Vice and Valor, Reason was able to take the trash out in time for the wedding.

Perfect ending 🫶🏽.

THANK YOU TO THE AUTHOR FOR NOT DRAGGING THE DRAMA OUT👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Summer weddings...

Summer and Reason are back and it's now time to get married. Everything has been planned, booked and ready for their big day, but when people from Reason past show up to take revenge on what happened to their families. With the help of his cousins, they show why Reason and his family are at the top. This was a great ending to Reason and Serenity story.

Kryiris did it again with Book 2

Her protector, his peace! The way he loved Serenity was Beautiful. And the love that each of them had for each others child was amazing. The way they included them in the ceremony after their vows was on point!

Give me Reason!

Reason is a good man Savannah! He didn’t deserve the betrayals he endured but he didn’t allow what he was going through to taint the potential love that was brewing between him and serenity. This was a great story and beautiful ending.

He is who he thinks he is!

One thing that Reason is going to do and that is protect what is his. Smh, someone is always lurking in the shadows. The wedding ceremony was beautiful and the vows were even more beautiful.

Black Love Wins!!

This was a nice way to tie up loose ends. Although I was on edge the entire time, thinking something unknown and heinous was afoot. Glad it ended the way it did.
