The Mortician's Wife

A dark psychological thriller that peels back the layers of love, madness, and murder.

Ella Grayson appears to be the perfect wife. Graceful, quiet, and fiercely loyal, she helps her husband run their small-town mortuary with eerie precision. But when the bodies begin piling up and the deaths no longer seem accidental, whispers start to rise—and Ella is at the center of them.

Behind the embalming fluid and flowers lies a chilling secret. Ella has a hunger she can no longer suppress... a desire for control, revenge, and blood. And as her husband discovers the horrifying truth, he's faced with an impossible expose her and lose everything, or join her and become something he swore he'd never be.

A tale of obsession, moral decay, and one woman's descent into darkness, The Mortician's Wife will grip you from the first page and haunt you long after the last.

This was a great quick read. The twist took me a minute to comprehend but was really good. It could have been edited or proofread better.
