Entangled By You by Cindy Dawson
I'm going to start this off by saying that I loved the first book in the series and I was so excited to get Lexi's book because I loved her in the first book.
Lexi and Pierce used to be together and something happens and Lexi leaves and it leaves them both heartbroken with many different emotions in between that.
Lexi is trying to cover up her grief from her terrible ex who has gone (missing) and she is just trying to gain her independence back. But the cops who are looking into her ex being missing keep bothering her and harassing her. What happens when Pierce comes into the boutique and basically tells them to ef off because they need to stop harassing his girl.
So what happens when Harlow convinces Lexi to come to a party they are having over at the clubhouse? What could go wrong?
Well one thing leads to another and Lexi and Pierce keep crossing paths and they are slowly coming to realize that they miss each other.
The push and pull between these characters is EVERYTHING! I was eating it up. Like one minute they were so cute towards each other then the next there was sass and attitude. ❤️
I couldn't put this book down because it had me hooked from the moment that I started reading. I loved Pierce and Lexi and how they got where they got to by the end of the book.

The way I absolutely DEVOURED this, like D E V O U R E D! The tropes in this was perfect 😍 second chance 😍 angsty 😍 motorcycle club 🥰 unplanned pregnancy 😍 it’s always been you. Yes you saw that correctly, the pregnancy trope, I’m not one for this trope and I’ll be honest I’ve dnf’d books that had this trope (do to how I felt it was written in the story not the actual trope) but this one was written extremely well. It’s a fast paced storyline so we don’t go through the whole 9 months consecutively but we do get I believe each trimester.
This is Lexi’s story, we meet her in book one ‘unbound by you’ which is Harlow and silas’ story, we see how her ex boyfriend takes place here, how she was in a DV relationship with him but her story shows how strong she is and how she overcame that part of her life with the help she so reluctantly accepts as some point by our MMC Pierce. Pierce is Silas’ right hand man and best friend, he steps in practically immediately which was a great touch, he feeds her, cares for her, stalks her at work, all very loving and romantic. Their story together is a good one, their love for each other is extreme but in the best ways, mutual pining but she hates it, he wins her over …. Eventually, he doesn’t tame her or control but more so protect if she goes off the rails.

Entangled by You is a second chance romance where a one night stand leads them back to each other’s arms. Well, and maybe with the help of her brother wanting to protect Lexi and Pierce’s need to be one protecting.
Lexi and Pierce’s story is so heartwarming. We get to see two broken people come back together, though at first unwilling from Lexi’s side, and grow to realize their feelings never left.
There is plenty of action in this novella if you love the motorcycle club side of things. We get to see Pierce and Silas take care (😉) of people and get to see Lexi stake claim on her man in the clubhouse.
Cindy does it again. I don’t know what she puts into these men but god damn do they know what to say 🥵 I usually stay clear of the pregnancy trope but these two characters seem so meant to be parents that I didn’t mind it!

Lexi and Pierce 🥹
I loved them. I could read more of them and not tired of it.
their story was messy, raw. more ways than one 😏🤭
no, but seriously these two had me hooked. the tension, the banter, the way Pierce simply gave Lexi space yet kept eyes on her to protect her.
Then the little shocking surprise after that one fun night. Pierce is still surprised it happened, lets be honest there. it was hot. 🥵
but there's secrets between them. and Lexi's is one that shocks everyone. including me. I was not expecting the secrets she kept to herself. for 6 years.
the ending though, the epilogue 🥰 ahhh loved it. all worth the suspense and roller-coaster ride of emotions.
like I said I wouldn't mind more of these two. ☺️
I regret not reading Unbound by You even though these are standalones. I just simply loved Harlow and Silas. I want to know their story. so definitely gonna back track and read it. ☺️

I always thought I was not a fan of pregnancy tropes, but while reading this I realized I’m not a fan when they end the story on that because I feel like that’s the beginning of a story and not at the end of the story.
The story picks up where book one left off with Lexi and Pierce and their second chance of happiness. High school sweethearts who have been estranged for 6+ years and they start to reconnect and rebuild what they lost.
If you love a second chance romance, with a side of pregnancy trope, and a MC who’s got their back, then please give this story try! Cindy nails it with this story, I absolutely loved it! 🥰

This is book 2 in this series, and I loved the first book so was definitely excited to jump into this one and get Lexi's story.
We met Lexi in book 1, Unbound by You, which was Harlow and Sila's story. Lexi is Harlow's best friend and Silas is her older brother. When Lexi's abusive ex almost killed her, her friends and brother took care of business. Lexi has been struggling a bit since this happened since Harlow also moved out shortly after, which left Lexi alone. She has been "existing". What she doesn't know is that Pierce has been keeping a close eye on her. Pierce is Sila's right hand man and the "clean up" guy for the MC, but he and Lexi also have a past.
When Harlow decides that she has had enough and drags Lexi out of the house to the clubhouse for a night out, things with her and Pierce take a bit of a turn with a shocking surprise that comes shortly after. I love Lexi and Pierce's story and seeing two strong yet broken people come back together and work through all of the past and current traumas. There were secrets and surprises, but they kept you hooked in.
I devoured this book in one sitting! It is definitely a fast paced, short read, but it has such perfect balance that things don't really feel rushed. I highly recommend you check this series out! Cannot wait for the next one to come out!

I really enjoyed how this story managed to be both fast-paced and perfectly balanced. From the very beginning, Lexi and Pierce’s chemistry was absolutely explosive. Even during their time apart, their love for each other was undeniable—you could feel it in every interaction.
Lexi is fierce, resilient, and stronger than she even realizes. Despite everything she’s been through, she continues to rise. Pierce, on the other hand, is calm yet equally intense, and together they balance each other beautifully. Their connection feels natural, raw, and magnetic.
I have to say, Silas realizing Pierce was in love with her right away had me grinning—it was that obvious. And about the surprise pregnancy trope? I genuinely don’t get the hate for it. It was handled so well here—subtle, spaced out, and the way it happened was honestly hilarious.
Pierce’s devotion to Lexi never wavered; he stood by her at every stage, even when he wasn’t sure the baby was his. That loyalty and quiet tenderness made me love him even more.
While this can be read as a standalone, I definitely recommend starting with book one to fully appreciate the depth of their story. It’s emotional, passionate, and packed with all the moments that make you root for love that refuses to quit

Entangled By You by Cindy Dawson is a short, fast-paced novella and book two in The Viper’s MC series. While it can be read as a standalone, I think reading book one first helps you get a better feel for the world and characters.
Lexi is trying to find her footing after a traumatic experience with her ex, who has since disappeared. To cope, she throws herself into work and drowns her pain with alcohol. After one too many drinks, she decides to finally take something for herself—Pierce. What starts as a one-night (or rather, one-morning) stand quickly becomes complicated when, three weeks later, she finds herself dealing with an unexpected pregnancy.
Pierce, meanwhile, is grieving the loss of his best friend while quietly keeping an eye on Lexi from afar. He’s grown tired of the booze, the drugs, and the empty hookups; because the only woman he’s ever really wanted is Lexi. After finally having her again after years apart, he’s determined not to let her go a second time. Swoon!
The story moves quickly with a few time jumps that make some parts feel a bit rushed, but it still delivers plenty of emotion and heart. I was also surprised this one was lighter on spice compared to Cindy’s usual, but the plot and final reveal make it totally worth the read.

Ahh so sweet & deliciously spicy!
Cindy sure knows how to draw you in, give you a little taste of the good stuff and then bam! It’s 1am and you’re a full blown Cindy addict.😏
I absolutely loved Pierce and Lexi’s story! It may have been fast paced, but there was history between the two of them making their connection feel genuine and real. I enjoyed seeing a softer side to Pierce- a lovesick puppy who was so patient with Lexi while she sorted her feelings out. The first sign of danger though and that lovesick puppy turned into a teeth baring guard dog with a mean bite. Lexi was so much stronger than she let on…to anyone. I loved seeing her fire burn brighter than ever once Pierce came back into her life (willingly or by force). He breathed life back into her one home cooked meal at a time.
I binged this book in one sitting and I did shed a few tears throughout the story. Be prepared for a mini roller coaster of emotions running through you while reading this book. (So worth it though!)

Pierce lost the only woman he loved when he was younger to a real douche. But when that douche messes up and hurts her. ( he gets what's coming to him in the first book) Pierce is there to help, staying in the shadows, making sure she's safe. ( at first, winkwink) then one night together flips both their lives upside down and neither of them are reallt that angry about it. Thank the goddess.
I loved the book, it's so easy to read, both characters have their secrets to share in the end. Both have their reasons for doing what they did. But what neverd changed was their intense love for eachother throw a baby in the mix and some forced proximity by your big bro and it's a recipe for love, incredible spicy moments and even some angst.
The moment Lexi finally gives in, was soooooo good... Like seriously... the way she claimed him ughh yess!!!!!
If you're looking for a mc romance where they were childhood sweathearts but because of some circumstances break up, then this is the one for you. These two are so good together. a beautiful lovestory with second chances, a baby and some drama.
I loved the book, it's so easy to read, both characters have their secrets to share in the end. Both have their reasons for doing what they did. Being able to experience Lexi and Pierce’s story and finally see Pierce get his HEA after losing his best friend was absolutely the best! The emotional depth and healing in this book hit so hard, and the way it tied back to Unbound by You was phenomenal. You can really feel how that first story shaped this one, and it made everything that much more meaningful.
The Vipers MC Series has quickly become one of my absolute favorites. I loved the unexpected pregnancy element—it added such a heartfelt layer to their relationship and made watching them navigate love, trust, and change even more special. And that twist with the villain? Totally unexpected and perfectly executed!
It was also such a treat to get a little glimpse into Harlow and Si’s relationship again. I love when authors bring back past characters in ways that feel natural and connected.
Overall, this book delivered everything I hoped for and more—emotion, passion, suspense, and a satisfying HEA that felt well-earned. I’m already counting down to the next one!

This was a fast and emotional found family, second chance romance and I loved every second of it. Pierce and Lexi has a all consuming high school romance that Lexi ended after her father died suddenly, now years later they are pushed back together and all the love they shared is still there pushing to come back out. Pierce is obsessed and would happily get back with Lexi but Lexi is a bit more hesitant to pick up where they left off. One hung over roll in the hay and fate ties them back together and Lexi starts to give in and remember all the ways that pierce was there for her and how he cared for her. There is no deep back ground plot in this story it is a quick novella so if you are looking for a fun and spicy read without a ton of brain required to keep up.

YES!! I’m obsessed with this book. Cindy seriously did it again. She didn’t just bring the spice (which she always does), but she hit us right in the feels too. This one had me laughing, crying, and clutching my chest all within a few chapters. Total emotional rollercoaster, but in the best way.
Lexi was incredible. The way she held herself together through everything made me love her even more. And Pierce? My heart. The way he stood by her and showed his love was so pure. You could feel the tension from the start, and when they finally found their way back to each other, the emotions hit hard. The angst, the longing, the vulnerability — it was everything. Plus, Lexi’s brother and best friend added the perfect balance of humor and heart.
At this point, Cindy is definitely an auto-read author for me. She never misses.

ummmmmmmmm HOW IS NOONE TALKING ABOUT HOW THIS GIRL LITERALLY SEXUALLY ASSAULTED THIS MAN??????!!!! I don’t care if these two are going to end up together or if they have a past it is fr not ok for her to put his d!ck inside her when he’s asleep. Somno is not listed as a trigger warning (nor is it one of my triggers), but even if it was this was not it. No where did they ever talk about or consent to that. They literally aren’t even together yet! They haven’t even been around each other really for over five years! The FMC was drunk and the MMC was helping her so he had her sleep in his bed. The MMC also slept in the bed and the FMC woke up, took the MMC’s d!ck out while he was sleeping and started riding him until he woke up. HOW IS THIS OK?????? The MMC ended up enjoying it when he woke up, but still this is not ok. Im sorry but this gave me ALLLLL the wrong vibes.

Lexi is every bit as sassy as she is expected to be and keeps Pierce on his toes! I love how he is there for her even when she doesn’t want it. I feel like Pierce gives golden retriever energy (but that’s me, you make your own decision).

Lexi and Pierce!! They are my favorite of the two books! Lexi broke up with Pierce in high school to try and find answers about her dad's death. 6 yrs later they bump into each other again at the MC party or more like Lexi gets drunk and Pierce cares for her before anyone else can try to hook up with her. One thing led to another and Lexi unexpectedly ends up pregnant with Pierce's child. Can Pierce worm his way back into Lexi's life and forgive her for the heartbreak? I may be the odd man out, but I enjoy accidental pregnancy tropes. It may have to do with the way my oldest came about. i wish there was more books in this duo. i also LOVE the cover of the books.

Loved this book!! I devoured the first book Unbound By You, but I absolutely demolished reading this one in less than 4 hours. Filled with heartbreak, love, some misunderstandings and of course spice this book a great read. My only complaint is that I still want more of all the characters and need more books.

I fell in love with Lexi and Pierce’s story! I thought this was such a great MC and second chance romance book. Lexi and Pierce have been through so much together and I love their HEA. I’m not usually a fan of accidental pregnancy but I did enjoy it.
This is such a fast paced and quick read. Not super deep in the plot. Super quick read for me (just like the first book).

Thank you so much Cindy Dawson for this ARC! Man this was so good. I love that it picks up right after book one and Pierce!!!!! Omg, the way he cares for Lexi is chef’s kiss😍 This was such a fun read, giving major sons of anarchy vibes which is one of my favorite shows. I do however wish they explained what the heck they did to get away with murdering the mayor in the end but other than that, I absolutely loved this novella and the first book!

I’m loving The Viper’s MC Series from Cindy!! It’s so good!! Being a short read, this novella hooked me in quickly with the feisty dynamic between the MC’s. Having been each other’s first love, tragedy struck & life up ended for Lexi. Pierce never got over her & after recent events (that occur in #1), he’s even more protective. Throw in some wild & unprotected s€x, two pink lines later & once again life has thrown them a curve ball ‘Steve’ the pregnancy pillow.
The second chance aspect of the story was great, as was the surprise pregnancy which I always love in books. And there was a plot twist I wasn’t expecting that added depth & gave a greater understanding of their past. Being a dark romance, it’s has the darker aspects you expect along with a fair bit of sweetness. So this is definitely a recommended read from me (along with all of Cindy’s other books)!

This was the first time I read the pregnancy trope and loved it. Lexi and Pierce have such a beautiful and complex history but their love is a constant.
Lexi is still dealing with her past relationship trauma and Pierce is so gentle in his approach. He loves her like no other, a true sweetheart. Lexi struggles with making sure she’s okay, like girl take care of yourself please. The ending was the cutest.

This is such a great read. The action, emotion, and all over vibe had me thinking about this novella for days after I finished it.
Pierce and Lexi’s story had me giggling and tearing up. Quick banter and raw moments between two people who used to be in love, getting a second chance, even under surprise circumstances, was so fun to read about. Both stubborn in their own ways, watching them navigate their new situation together was refreshing. Cindy did an incredible job packing everything in this fast paced novella.

I loved Harlow's and Silas's story.But there was something about Pierce, and Lexi's that I just fell in love with even more. I was in my feels most of book.Now those feels went from hot, enraged, heartbroken, etc. Pierce is a a doverman golden retriever!!! I loved this story. I loved the friendship Lexi & Harlow have in this book as well. Super well written and the spice... was spicen!!!! 10/10 recommend.

This was a nice quick read. Covered a lot of my favorite tropes. I love a good second change romance, add in some forced proximity and a dab of spice and I was fully engaged. Not a fan of the pregnancy trope but the author wrote the story so well that I was fully invested in seeing the outcome! Definitely a quick novella worth reading!

I really enjoyed reading Lexi and Pierce. Entangled was more emotional and less action than Unbound but it worked for their story. I would have liked a little more fight in the middle when there was some violence (I don’t want to give spoilers), it just seemed to short lived. With that being said, I would 100% recommend this and I’m sad it’s over!

never did I think I'd be into the pregnancy trope, yet here I am, utterly in love with these two. also boysss are soooo dumbbbbb cause what do you meannnnnn *face palm* how those two were so damn clueless was hilarious. Pierce is and was everything that a man should be. He was nothing but patient and understanding and just there for our girl. I loved everything about them.

I read this book in one sitting. This is the story of Lexi and Pierce and it gives faith that if something it meant for you it doesn’t matter how much time passes it will be yours. It also dives into the topic of a DV situation and what the after math looks like. I loved both of those characters together. Great book.

I’m a sucker for high school sweethearts. I enjoyed the push/pull between Lexi and Pierce with their banter. I never thought I’d be into an accidental pregnancy trope but I’m here for it. The way this man worships her is beyond what I could want. The little girl inside me wants a protective man like this. The never dying chemistry was great. I was excited to see how this played out after reading about Harlow and Silas. Would definitely recommended!!
