What Readers Have
“This is incredible! I read it all in one go, couldn’t put it down!”
“Great story! As someone who used to live in the Arctic (Norway, not Alaska), it made me miss it! Reindeer meat is vastly underrated.”
“What an insane ending that was.”
“There’s so much life and love in this particular story, I haven’t experienced anything like it in what seems like forever, and I already know that I’ll reread it countless times just to relive all the joy and that hurricane of feelings.”
“I might never recover.”
“This was so beautiful and heartbreaking and immersive.”
“I can’t explain how much I’ve loved this story. Honestly, I think it might be, or is, the best thing I’ve ever read. It tore me apart and put me back together again all at once. I’ve never loved characters the way I’ve loved these two, I’ve never loved a story’s setting like this. I would recommend this book to anyone, literally anyone, because it’s beautiful.”
“I wish I could burn this story into my retinas, tattoo it on my skin, and carve it into my heart."
“The Taco Bell scene is peak romance though.”
“This should be read in schools. On the news. The president should hold a press conference to read this live. It doesn’t have nearly a percentage of the readers it should. I’m gonna put it on a billboard and make people read this. I’m gonna tell my friends about it. You’ve changed my life, and reinvigorated my love of fiction and writing.”
North to the Future is an absolute must-read. Sharp, witty, and brilliantly crafted, it had me hooked from page one. I devoured it in a single day because I simply couldn’t put it down. Packed with humor, nostalgia, and just the right amount of intrigue, it keeps you guessing while tugging on your heart.
The characters are written with such warmth and familiarity, you’ll feel like you’ve known them for years. The way Juneau, Alaska, is described places you right in the icy winds, staring up in awe at the shimmering Aurora Borealis. Tino is such a beautifully complex character, he's unforgettable. He lingers long after the final page, the kind you carry with you.
Five stars isn’t nearly enough for this book. I loved every second of it.
this book had so many tropes that i loved, i read this in its original form on tumblr and it was so good to reread i did it at like 3 am and didnt stop until i finished. Hope this author writes more original fiction.
my favorite book ever because it literally has everything you could ask for!!
romance? top-tier. mystery ? well, good luck figuring out who the serial killer is OR what demons Tino is running from… drama? grab a chair because there are decisions coming that will seriously get on your nerves.. *cough* new year’s eve.. *cough*
the book mainly focuses on the romance, but the subplot with a serial killer on the loose in a small town will keep you hooked. plus it touches on serious stuff like drug addiction and alcoholism, showing how it affects people and their relationships and the author handles it REALLY well, with care and nuance.
Tino is one of those characters you can’t help but love, flaws and all. he’s real, he’s broken, he’s messy, he’s fucked up but he’s not someone you can despise. you can’t help but just root for him.
pick up North to the Future and get ready for a whirlwind of emotions.. maybe grab some appletini too 👀🍸❄️
I read this in its origin on tumblr and absolutely loved it. It has everything a book needs. Mystery, angst, heartwarming fluff, a cute dog. What else could you possibly want in a book? ((Nothing)) 💚
