She stole his tree. He stole her heart.Merit needed one evergreen tree for her Winter Solstice school program at Shadow Wolf Creek Elementary. She didn't expect to wake up the town's most lovable bear shifter or to feel an instant spark with the gentle giant.

Between cookie decorating, winter solstice festivities, delivering the town tree and taking care of patients they’re falling in love. But Merit has a secret that could change the mating process.
A heartwarming Winter Solstice paranormal romance about finding love when you least expect it.
I have read dozens of this authors books and this is the first one I struggled finishing. The first 150 pages absolutely dragged. There was so much focus on the Christmas events and the other characters I kept checking the table of contents to see if this book had an epilogue. The story was almost out of runway for me and made the last 40 pages or so feel rushed. The constant almost ad nauseam PCOS references desensitized me to the issue. The MFC’s constant indecisiveness and doubt made me wish Fate was wrong. Her character just came across of whiny and weak. I sped read most of it and was left annoyed.
This by far was one of my favorite 🤩 s. I love how Merit didn’t come 100% together in the beauty world 🌍 but she was beautiful 😻 in her way and right. Wesley didn’t give two hunny pots about Merit imperfections. He loved her for her. I don’t want to give it all away, but fate did it again 💫 with the match making. Being with a healing ❤️🩹 bear 🐻 What I took from this book 📖 is there is somebody for somebody all the time. Just have trust in fate 🌟
I absolutely loved this story. How the topic of PCOS was covered and women’s health issues. That’s not something many books cover. The relationship between Wesley and Merit had me swooning. This book was definitely worth the wait. I love it in Shadow Creek.
This was a great read. I loved the fact that it’s not your typical paranormal read there are differences in the mating and ceremonies. I really enjoyed this book. I was so happy that she ended mated to someone who can heal her so that she could have a family. It was also really cool that that particular clan can only mate with women who have heath issues so different
This was a great addition to the collab. I love how the characters from the other stories were mentioned and included in the story. It really helped with the world building!
The story came together great Merit was a trip but it worked out well. Loved hearing about the little shifters, they played a big part of the story. This is one of the best in the series.
This book was funny, sad at times and very informative. I had trouble carrying my babies. It was good to see this topic addressed. This is fiction but, it might inspire someone to really do more research on this subject. I loved the support she was given by her mate an his clan. It takes a village is so true.
I loved this story for sheading light on a illness that a lot of women suffer with in silence. Yes, the book is written in the lense of a fantasy community but the feelings are real. These issues are based on real life human experiences and it's beautiful thing that a safe space was created for them to be discussed.
As a woman with PCOS I loved this story and was so happy that Merit got her happy ending. Merit and Wesley made an awesome couple I’m glad they found each other. Them little shifters are territorial lol. Overall was a good read as well as a must read!
This book was very good and as someone who has a friend who struggles with PCOS I am grateful that this book introduced and discussed what PCOS is and how it affects females.
My heart went out to Merit! She was dealing with a lot but was still full of love. Fate rewarded her with Wesley, who was just the healing and love that she needed. I loved this book!!
This fmc got on my last. Overall this story was ok.. the focus wasn't so much on the story but her issues and clearly depression...and the fact that she moved to a shifter town...works with the city and kids but knew nothing of mates...not
An amazing job bringing attention to an illness that plagues soooo many women that many are too embarrassed to mention or even share with anyone. Thank you…. Keep writing and I’ll definitely keep reading!!!!
This was an amazing romantic read. I love how the writer incorporated real world women issues. I like how she gave a voice to a problem we as women face daily, great read.
Good read! Merit's story is written to pull at all emotions. Merit and Dr Wesley were adorable. Loved the bear clan, and children. Glad to star year off with high quality writing.
Snowed in Collab is one of my favorites ever. These two hold a special place in my heart. I couldn’t put this down. It was the best kind of insta love/slow burn.
I have loved the series and when the author teaches about such things as PCOS, it just made it all the better. Thank you Ms. Elle with sharing your gift with us.
I wanted to like this book but just couldnt. The ML was soft yet overly controlling in my opinion and the FMC continuously harped on her PCOS to the point I got annoyed hearing about it and then when she finally shared her diagnosis with her mate i was so upset! A magic tree that heals things? Really?!?! This would have been so much better story if they had just accepted that she couldn’t have children and loved each other anyway.
