Faxon and Gunther have gotten into trouble before, but never quite like this. When Gunther upsets the wrong Baron, he and Faxon find themselves thrust out of the frying pan and into the fire. The Baron is the least of their worries. An old enemy has returned with uncertain motives that leave the fate of the Human Imperium in question.

Troubled Waters is a ~18 page novelette set in the Magic of Solendrea universe.
