This book details 112 habits useful in everyday life, ranging from work efficiency, studying, diet and health, communication, mental health, and living. Each habit is backed by various credible studies, which the author explains concisely to apply to our lives. These are all useful and available to everyone, regardless of age, gender, income, etc. Furthermore, the author is highly considerate of the readers’ conditions, consistently acknowledging general societal norms and individual preferences. I really enjoyed reading this book, as there are so many habits I found attractive that I could start now. Particularly, I plan to implement tip #83, washing hands to wash away guilt; #70, code-switching; and #40, using smaller plates for a smaller appetite. Additionally, besides the content of this book, I truly admire the conciseness of explanations (each habit is explained in 2 pages), visually guiding aesthetic organizations (bullet points, on-point illustrations, 1 sentence summary, clear headings, bolded key phrases, colored key words), and tone control (soft, open, suggestive tone, rather than coercive persuasion). I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in lifestyle adjustments. However, this book is in Japanese and may be challenging to read for non-native speakers.
