C'è così tanta Power nella principessa Lacrima che non puoi non adorarla. Soprattutto dopo "quella scena" che in altri contesti sarebbe finita in fascia protetta sotto il tag "slime". Ma anche Titi e Lukas sono dei comprimari perfetti. Solo oro in questo volume.

I had to drop the series. I tried so hard to want to like this series but the pacing is insanely bad and it has yet to find its stride. We got another time skip and then in one panel our MC tells us he fought a lot in the time skip. This is just shows that the writer wants to skip over stuff to get to fights. I feel like all we get are vignettes of what could be an epic tale because the author doesn’t want to spend the time actually telling a story and developing characters. Which brings me to my other issue. I feel no connection to the characters, again because I’m being told things instead of shown them through the story.

A lot of people seem to like this series and I’m happy for them and the author but I just don’t get why that is because on a technical level this story has very glaring issues that I don’t see talked about online at all which makes me feel like I’m crazy for feeling the way I do about this series.

All in all, I wish I could like this as much as I see everyone else online like it but due to very glaring technical flaws in the storytelling I just can continue.

Sometimes it provides a nice idea, it has cool art, and I believe that it has potential. The straightforwardness of the story hinders it a little bit. It is a classic shonen, which I will gladly read; it just doesn't make anything special. But the art, once in a while, is really spectacular.
