Zariah Knox isn’t heartbroken — she’s reborn. After walking away from a man who kept cheating and made her question her worth and her instincts, she’s not just healing — she’s glowing, stronger, and unapologetically whole. Now, love has to earn its way in.
Khalil Jordan is the NBA’s quiet storm — focused, fine, and done with surface-level love. When he crosses paths with Zariah, it’s instant, magnetic, and unavoidable.
Zariah’s guarded. Khalil’s patient, and the spark between them is unmistakable. However, just as things start to sizzle, the past slides back in with slick words and old wounds. The man she left won’t let go, and the man she’s falling for... is suddenly in the crossfire.
I enjoyed this story and the characters. Khalil was not giving up on getting Zariah. Although Zariah was guarding her feelings, I'm glad she gave Khalil a chance. He was definitely a better man than her trifling ex Malik. Malik just knew he was winning, but he got exactly what he deserved. The real winners in this story were Khalil and Zariah for not letting lies ruin their reputation.
The “Technical Love” series unfortunately was a collection of functionally disfunction repetitive tropes: juvenile jock jealousy (aka The J’s 🤭) with the honorable exception of Book # 4’s “Mississippi Baller”‼️Nevertheless, “Technical Love with a Cali Baller” (3.50 ⭐️’s) was a mediocre read. As previously stated I’m not interested in reading the intimate hyperbolic graphic proclivities of others. …EVER🥴‼️Some events are inferred like breathing, bathing & blinking (duh) 🤷🏾♀️‼️Thereafter, I expected more “Love & Basketball” & less “Real Housewives of Cali” the juvenile episode featuring Zariah & Khalil 🤔 🤷🏾♀️‼️
This story was so good. It shows how people want control, and if it don't go they way, they cause havoc. I like how people can be strong and fight to stay together. Please go and read this book. Kelsey, keep doing what you do. Hopefully, we can get an update book about these two. I'm hoping to see updates from the whole series.
Oh, I loved this so so so much! Malik goofy ah tried to tear Zariah apart, but she took the time to heal and move on. Hesitation sometimes works out best, and I'm glad she gave Khalil a chance! This story was edgy, crazy, and made my mouth drop a couple of times. I enjoyed this a lot.
Khalil had to overcome A LOT!!! He was knocked down & still came out on top! Z was that WOMAN! She gave off power! I’m glad she didn’t crumble & go backwards to that “dog” Malik. Ugh I don’t even wanna say his name cause he did WAY TOO MUCH!!!! He was like a parasite. I’m glad the truth came out & they grew beautifully!
Malik thought this was a game until he FAFO. He got too comfortable and dogged Zariah thinking she was gone always be his, until she wasn’t! Even then he thought he stood a chance, hahaha jokes on him 🙃
A true story of love, pain, and adversity. Khalil and Zariah’s love was apparent from the beginning. The trials and tribulations they endured together solidified it.
I enjoyed the book, but I did feel it skipped a lot of the story. What happened to Malike did he get arrested ai wanted to know more. I felt the plot built up so much of the beef but was a let down on the aftermath.
I appreciated the love story and the hate. I wanted to fire off on Malik. He was a true ego maniac and his feelings were hurt when Zariah left his cheating butt. I would love for them to continue this series for all 50 states. I'd read them all.
I love a great love story and add sports to it I’m on cloud nine and this story had both along with a little drama with the will to overcome everything thrown at these characters so glad they both passed the test thrown at to find and keep the love.
Malik was a clown for the way he was acting. Him tried to break zariah down that piss me off.i am glad zariah walked away from malik.i happy zariah gave khail a chance. This was a great series, ladies. I enjoyed reading every book
A love story with a jealous ex attempting to create barriers but the lovers proved to be an unbreakable bond! Full of warmth and some tension! Definitely a romance to read!
