Outstanding Book, anyone interested in Local history, paranormal or just amazing stories! This book has something for anyone. The stories are well written and truly get you thinking, it will spark an interest and you will feel drawn to visit the places in the book it will also make you believe there is more than this mortal world one we do not yet understand! There are things that go bump in the night and we should be scared of the dark as there are things out there!
Tom Slemen always writes books that are more than just ghost stories. They include unusual occurrences often witnessed by not just one person but by the whole community; glimpses into future events and alternate realities; even trips into the past. Haunted Wirral includes all of these and more! A great book for anyone interested in the paranormal or supernatural.
I love all of Tom's books but this is particularly relevant to me as I live on the Wirral. I will certainly look at some of the places I pass on a regular basis with new eyes. A wonderful read, absolutely fascinating.
