The beloved luna is on the run.
Moments after finding out she is finally pregnant, Natalia walks in on the ultimate betrayal — her fated mate in bed with her own sister. Crushed by what she discovers, Natalia decides to keep her pregnancy a secret, quietly accepting divorce and her mate’s rejection. But when her ex-husband finds out the truth, he is determined to bring his Luna and his heir home. Four years later, Natalia has carved out a life for herself and her son, only to have her world turned upside down when she comes face to face with her second chance mate.

Having been forsaken by his own pack, Zane is unwilling to let her go so easily, especially when his old pack threatens to harm her if he refuses to join their war. He must fight for their bond, but will his love be enough to mend her broken heart? Or will their pasts tear them apart?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Natalia, a hardworking Luna with everything stacked against her. She is a human and cannot get pregnant. Then one night she finds her husband cheating on her with her sister. Finally pregnant after years of trying, she flees.

Zane, an Alpha heir, born with a stutter. Subjected to daily abuse, he is constantly humiliated and made to feel less than. Once his mother dies, his father takes a new wife and has a new son. Stripped of his Alpha inheritance, he is constantly reminded of the son he isn’t. Not to mention he has been kept a secret. No one realizes he is an Alpha heir. They simply see him as an outcast.

Fate brings the two together. Natalia is given a second chance mate, one she doesn’t want. Zane is given a gift he never thought he’d get. Can they overcome their trauma and find love?

It is rare for me to read a pay by chapter book. Most of them are poorly written and give you wattpad vibes. Not StephanieLighthouse. No. She is an amazing writer. I was very captured by both Natalia and Zane. The pacing is a bit fast, but the story is so captivating. The entire time I was rooting for this couple. The book also has some great moments, Zane’s wolf literally had me laughing out loud. Overall, I’m so happy to add this to my physical collection

Be warned, this is Part 1 only. Part 2 is completed but Dreame has not yet published it.

Also, TW: child abuse, domestic abuse, cheating

Typically, I have the same 2 complaints with this writer in every book of theirs that I have read. I hate the treatment of her male characters. The author writes too often about sacking the males, making fun of male characters feelings, and frankly aweful behavior towards the men. Even when the females are friends with the men they treat them terribly! Who does that to a friend?! I would not find it amusing if a male did this to a female and I am not ok with a female doing it to a male.

Another common theme, and this is not exclusive to this writer, but it is in the book, is the girls going shopping, or needing to go shopping, and their crappy immature behavior while going shopping. You know, women do other activities. I like shopping but it's not all I do with friends. Also, I don't need a total list of their shopping needs. It drives me crazy when authors write out a whole list.

Also, and again this is not exclusive to this writer, but it is in the book, but why does antagonist women always need to be considered a "slut, bitch" and all the other terrible terms? You can have a poor relationship or not get along with them without resorting to immature name calling. Their actions speak for themselves but all it sounds like to me is someone who struggles to manage their emotions when they have to repeatedly resort to these names.

Overall, the story has a nice plot. I enjoyed the book... with the exception my complaints listed above. If the author would stop writing the above complaints, I would recommend her. The author has good ideas and I think with a little tweaking their book would be more enjoyable. I know, I would have rated this book higher.

BRILLIANT, EMOTIONAL, TWISTS&TURNS

A MUST READ!!! This book is one that you should NOT pass on! It has love, betrayal, trauma, vengeance, twists&turns, come ups. I mean it keeps you hooked from beginning to end. I could not put this book down at all! I’ve cried, laughed, cried some more, and was in love. Felt everything the characters went through. This book can be relatable in a sense to family issues and betrayal as well as being hurt my loved ones and also finding and being loved again while also being afraid to be loved or letting someone in. Also taking in a child that is not biologically yours but loving it as your own and protecting it with your life as it if were your own. I don’t want to give anything away because it’s so important to read it! Oh yeah and it’s Spicy.

I have a lot of conflicting feelings about this book. First - it’s almost 700 pages…and it shouldn’t have been. It took me almost 5 days to read this which is very rare for me. I did enjoy a lot of the story, but there were sections that should have been cut out. The real question is, was this really a slow burn or was the book just THAT long? There’s also like 8 different POVs and I kept forgetting who was who. I’m glad I took the time to read it, but I do regret spending $25 on the paperback. I won’t be continuing any of the next books if they are published. Read if you enjoy:

Fated mates
Shifter/werewolf romance
Rejected mate
Single mom
Virgin hero
Hero with a stutter
Grief

⚠️Trigger warning for: pregnancy loss, child murder, child abuse, domestic violence, cheating, gore, the word “giggle” used over a thousand times 🙃

It’s nestles well within its category: self-published weekly internet serial… at least in the format I found it in.

Don’t expect the best continuity, grammar or editing and you will be fine.

If this has been professionally edited since, I’m sure it would be worth another star at least.

A ad I saw online recommended this book, I was going through a reading block , hadn't read a book in ages but the sneak peak I got online I just had to read the whole book.

Strong female leads. Every day real day problems.
Let's face it they are real day problems they just don't happen to everyone.

I related to this book and it got me back into my love of reading.

The characters are loveable and relatable to me. The story line is amazing and it got me hooked I couldn't put it down. Once I was finished I went back to read the 2 books she wrote before this one.

Stephaine s about different back grounds of people dealing with different real life problems. It's a supernatural book about humans, werewolves and other supernatural beings.

I highly recommend this book and all the others stephaine has wrote. The gold queen, the ivory Queen, the earth witch and her two currently being written books a wolf in the game of dragons and the ivory throne.

I’ll be honest. This book was the first book I ever read from Stephanie Light and was baited by an excerpt that showed up on my Facebook feed. The POV? Grayson, of course! He roped me into the series. Before this story, I had never met a werewolf counterpart like him and he’s probably one of the most entertaining ones I’ve been introduced to til this day.
This book starts off in the FLs POV, a heartbreaking situation (a fated pair driven apart through infidelity), but I appreciate that the FL (Natalia) dusts herself off and becomes stronger and stronger as the story progresses. Likewise, the ML (Zane) also goes through some extensive and rough patches in his growth (extensive abuse), but his wolf, Grayson really helps ground him and the readers. This story brings these two together as Second-Chance Mates, but can they overcome their traumas? The its sort of a slow burn but when the spice begins, it’s pretty good! I’ll give the spice 3 out of 5 chilés.

Stumbled upon this on the Dreame reading App... want to eventually get a print copy, some day. I'm enjoying this author's writing style. PNR with some occult, so shifters and magic, and some dark portions. The Silent Alpha is part of a larger set of stories, and not the opening book. But it is the story I came across first. I give it 4.5 stars for the world-building and scope of story... there's a lot of elements interwoven to tell this tale.

The Silent Alpha tells the stories of Natalia and Zane. Two abused characters from two entirely separate packs of wolf shifters, who hope to find healing and peace with one another. Their intertwining stories will come together with several other packs in the most unexpected of ways. There needs to be a set of family trees for the connecting series, but this book stands alone just fine.

Thoroughly enjoyed the silent alpha. It is recommended to read the gold queen and the ivory queen first to get some background to characters such as Aurora and Salvador.

What I was pulled in by was the solid back story of Zane and his journey with Agnes to meet his destined mate Talia. At first I didn’t like Talia but she started to grow on me as more of her own back story came to light. Alpha Christian is a deluded and dangerous individual and at times I wanted to climb into the phone and punch him myself.

This book will keep you hooked with a couple of twists and turns in what is an epic journey to acceptance and true love. Horsey in the desert was a classic faux pax phrase which can make plenty of parents with young children relate when faced with an interruption during ‘sexy’ time.

I can not recommend this book enough times!
I love seeing the Latina rep, the people with disabilities rep, survivors rep, and strong family and friends dynamics.
I literally cried, laughed, and wanted to throw the book a few times.
The FMC, Talia, leaves her cheating mate while carrying his baby unbeknownst to him. She forms a life for herself and finally feels a sense of normality when she suddenly runs into her second chance mate, Zane.
Zane, the MMC, has had a difficult life growing up. He's experienced loss, rejection, and shame for his stutter. When it seems like life has always thrown him down, he meets Talia and finally believes there's a chance of happiness.
These two learn to trust, love, and stand side by side with the odds stacked against them.
Make this your next read. It’s 100% worth it.

I found this one Facebook ad and ended up reading it on some website and absolutely loved it. It is very violent and dark but you fall in love with the characters and the story almost immediately. A lot of unfinished background stuff which is fine for future books and it doesn’t take away from the main story. It really left me wanting more, in the best way. I want to know about Aurora, and backstories of all the packs, and what happens to Vanessa, and everyone else. Can’t wait to read more from this author.

I read this book 0n the Dreame app and I just loved it. I couldn´t put it down.
It´s one of the best books I have read and I´m more than happy that now we can get the paperback copy.
I fell in love with the characters and I became obsessed with the story. While I was reading it, waiting for the chapters to be published, this book was the only thing I could think about.
Thank you Stephanie Light for creating this amazing story.

This was the first book of Stephanie’s that I read and I was hooked!
Beautiful story of overcoming fears, hardships and that love will conquer all.
I love the depth and research Stephanie has done for her this book to really bring the struggles of her character’s disabilities and family dynamics.
I immediately fell in love with all her characters and her villains my goodness does she make you hate them.
I have yet to read a fantasy/romance/shifter book as good as hers.

10 stars!!!!! I would recommend it to anyone and everyone who loves reading. At first it'll start as a simple romance novel. Love between a low confident guy and a strong girl but girl this book take you to a different dimension all together. There are so many layers to different characters and stories within the book itself without overshadowing the main plot. It's just love. Don't be scared the writing is very simple and easily understandable.

Oh wow what can I say this book is amazing. It's part of the ivory series but can be read as a stand alone.

In this one we follow fated mates Natalia and Zane and there road to finding love with each other after a lot of hell that has been thrown their way.

Both are healing from their own trauma and scars given to them by people who were meant to love them.

Totally worth the read. Im so happy to have a copy of this in my library now 💓

Hands down one of my favorite books. It has humor, drama, spice and some dark in it. This is definitely something that can be read as a stand alone but part of a much coveted series. Natalia faces a brutal betrayal while Zane survives a brutal life. I love how Stephanie incorporates person's with disabilities in this story and how they are adapt and perceived by others.

Absolutely LOVED this book. I heard about it when it was on dreame but I didn’t read it on there. I purchased from Amazon the day it came out. Finished it in two days. Despite it being one book and broken up into two it ended at a good spot but I need book two like STAT. 😅

I read this on an app. While I prefer reading on my Kindle instead of a phone app, I have to say that this story was absolutely fantastic. It had me hooked right away & I just couldn't put it down. If it ever makes it to Kindle, I'd definitely read it again.

This story was beautifully depicted. The platform it was first on made it a bit difficult for the Author but she was able to get her story out there. The main male Character is very easy to fall in love with and his Wolf counterpart has to be one of my all time favorites.

Here is the thing...
I read this as a joke because i saw an ad about it on fb
It gave me the impression that it's the kind of books that it's so bad it's funny
But turns out it's just ... Kinda boring
The male protagonist is likable at least
