It all started one day in March of 2018. I was bored. There was nothing to watch on television. And the moment of silence prompted a memory. A flashback to a time I wrote movies in a notebook. Small scenes jotted down for no particular reason. Something compelled me to make a move. I jumped up and ran to my computer, anxious to tell a story of which I could see clearly. The scenes of my cleverly crafted idea so wildly vivid. A face. A name. And twisted plots that would rival any movie.
I began typing. The keystrokes were fervent. Soon one sentence gave way to twenty. One hundred words grew to seventeen thousand. And before I knew it, I had a short story. Proof that anything is possible. So, you might ask if I always wanted to be a writer? Was it somewhere in the back of my mind? No! It wasn’t. But I knew I was creative. And I knew I could tell a story. The rest is history. Now I can say I wrote a book that became a best seller. Downloaded for many book lovers to read and enjoy. And the journey is still fresh. There is so much more to write. I am just getting started!

Her being gone for one week? See my highlights in book 1 & 2 but here’s the short version. Gabby woke up from her coma after “seven weeks” after that it said she had been awake for nine days. (This is in book one). In book two, Gabby goes to a women’s shelter still not knowing who she is and in the group she said she was found a week ago. Math make it math. How you going to be at a shelter a week after being found in the water when you were in a coma for several weeks. This story was entertaining “but” there are holes in the story and it seems to be a little unfinished. Pastor Devaughn throws his wife Gabby overboard a yacht, calls 911, says she jumped, and a search party goes out to find her. He then goes to his church and announces that she left him and they are taking a break. So you telling me this didn’t make the news or social media. He is a very well known Pastor with his services being broadcasted, and he is already being investigated by the police, ain’t no way. According to (Nicole ) his announcement of them taking a break was known all around the world, but not him calling 911 because she went overboard that didn’t make the news… The police didn’t catch those two conflicting statements. What about Det Chen, you bring her in briefly, but you would think we would keep hearing about her since Gabby went to her saying she was not safe now that Devaughn knew she had evidence on him. Isn’t the spouse always the first suspect?
Word can spread that Gabby was with his plug, that he said she left him, but no word spread that he told the police Gabby jumped off the yacht and committed suicide, none of that makes sense. And what about her parents or her cousin that she gave information to saying if she turns up Missing there’s evidence of why. The cousin never showed up in the book, even though Gabby went missing. Her parents came into the story one time to confront Pastor about their daughter. Know you mean to tell me even her near by parents did not get word that she said she jumped??? What about when Gabby returned her parents never entered back into the story. Might I add her parents were trash though, to ask her what did she do to make her husband sodamize her. Trifling!
Overall, the story was really well written. But I do have some woes to discuss. So let’s talk about how the character names never were consistent. You had Keith Williams you had Keith Richards Keith Richardson when I thought this man’s name was Keith Perry and even Grace‘s name went from Grace Richards to Grace Richardson, like just the inconsistency of the names was really annoying. And then there was a lot of typos. I feel like there was even more typos in this book than there were in the first book which makes me feel like was there no editor or was this something that somebody had just submitted and put out for everybody to read with no second or third eyes to make sure everything was right? Also, there was a lot of loose ends. For example did Detective Chen ever get to the bottom of her investigation? It seems like nothing that DeVaughn did came to light which made no sense. A lot of of the things that Grace/ Gabby went through the timelines were all over place. Too many loose ends overall. What happened to the character of Rosa and brother Marcus? I feel like there could’ve been better character development and the ball was dropped on making it a little bit more edger with the other supporting characters but again overall it was a really good book, but those things really did kind of make reading the story cringe a little bit. At the end Gabby is pregnant who’s baby is that because she had unprotected sex with both of them in the book at the same time
