🧁Căutând ceva cu formă de relief în titlu, m-am oprit astupată acestei cărți și da, mi-a plăcut. Nikolai este mafiotul perfect: frumos, bogat, puternic, nemilos și care nu ascunde nicio clipă cine și ce este, iar în secunda în care o vede pe Lilly știe ca ea este a lui. Mi-a plăcut cum a intrat din nou în viața ei și a lui Chleo și cum a făcut tot ce i-a stat în putință să îi apere. În schimb Lilly a fost egoistă și din punctul meu de vedere a greșit când a fugit și nu i-a dat o șansă lui Nikolai, dar cumva soarta i-a arătat cat de mult a greșit și a trebuit să facă un efort pentru a-și răscumpăra greșelile. Chleo a fost minunat și mi-a plăcut tare mult cum l-a acceptat pe Nikolai în viața lui și a știu exact cine este el, deoarece mica lui inimioară a simțit de la prima privire legătura lor.

Get comfortable you will be a minute because you won’t put it down until the last page has been turned. Two people from two different words meet for one night their world blended that one night she a waitress and him a Bratva enforcer. Due to her nerves, she spilled his drink on him, of course it led to apologies and more apologies that led to one night of passion and a nightmare because that same night she witnesses something she shouldn’t, so she runs fast and far. Fast forward five years Lilly is running a bakery up in the mountains small town where everyone knows everyone, they take care of each other, and her son (yep that one night left her with a gift) her baby boy who is growing too fast he loves his home, the duckies, and his friends. Everything changes the day Nikolai walks into her bakery and the magnetic pull is still there between them learning that she had his boy does something to his heart but what happens when the people after him come for the two people who mean the most to him in the world, will he be there to protect them along with their town, will she tell her son who he really is to him, where is the fight between the families headed, and will it end with happiness?

Lilly has bills to pay and works hard as a cocktail waitress. Working the VIP section table 9 is tricky. The Bratva guys who sit there can be decent or not! Lilly meets Nickolai at that table and neither of their lives are ever the same.
When Lilly finds herself in a difficult situation she runs.

When their paths cross many years later, that spark is still there, but Lilly has great responsibilities now and is cautious to reunite with Nickolai especially when she knows she hasn't been honest with him.

Nickolai is on the run and wants nothing more than to rekindle what they had, but knows danger could show up at any moment.
He vows to protect at all cost eventhough stakes are higher than ever before, he's determined to do his duty or die trying.

Strong mutual attraction, Bratva action and family loyalty combine to make this an engaging read.

I enjoyed this story and would read more by this author.

A surprising romance between Lilly and Nikolai

This was a good romance with the mafia touch. I was not sure what to expect, but the author made the storyline and characters believable. Nikolai was in a club in the VIP section when Lilly was volunteered to handle table service at Table Nine. Unfortunately that day Lilly was behind on laundry and had to wear a skirt that was way too short and kept rising whilst walking. Lilly headed over and was so nervous that she dropped and spilled the drink on Nikolai. She forgot the skirt and bent over to pick up the glass . . . . Oh my the view. That is where their journey begins with adult fun mixed in with mafia danger and violence. Mind your triggers. There is a happy ending. Read On!

​I loved every minute of Nikolai and Lilly's story. The chemistry between them is an inferno from the beginning. Nikolai is the kind of man your mama warns you to stay away from, but you just can't. The danger is sexy and the heat unresistable. Lilly fell hard for him, and I don't blame him. What I liked reading was the transition in them over time. Nikolai was still dangerous but now he has something important to protect. Lilly started to learn she didn't have to handle everything alone anymore. Also, I liked that the ending was different from the typical Bratva read. There wasn't more bloodshed and violence. It was a peaceful ending after a tumultuous path to get there. This was a good read I'd recommend.

When Nickolai gives her the order to meet him at his room she’s pushed by her manager to accommodate the request. These two spend an unexpected evening of passion together that changes their lives forever! Lilly runs away and raises her son on her own while barely making ends meet running a bakery in a quiet mountain town. Nickolai has the police after him and he finds himself in a small town and discovers Lilly and a little boy. They find navigating the hidden secrets brings trouble and Nickolai does what’s necessary to protect them both from his mafia world. Is this the typical mafia bad boy meets innocent down on her luck needs to make money somehow smut? Yes. Did it entertain me for 1.5 days? Also, yes. Have I read too many that I expect a better way to put these together so I don’t predict every step of the way and end up skimming through the fluff? 100% yes.

I will say it was almost easy to read. I’m sorry if that child’s name is someone you know in real life. I had no idea how to pronounce it in my head so I continued to call him Chloe. Like, you know, a girl. It was my least favorite part. I did however enjoy our MMC hovering around in our FMC life for however long it was before it all hit the fan again.

Read it if you have AU and you like smut.

I have to admit that I was a little sceptical when I started reading this book because I just couldn’t get into the story. But it got better once I got used to the author's writing style (short sentences, sometimes just one word).
The storyline is great and I did like how it developed. I also liked the characters, they’re really well described.
Nikolai and Lilly are a great match and their story turned out to be a very enjoyable read.

Extra spicy with a side of sweetness.

I love a fast-paced mafia romance with both exciting and sweet characters & story. I devoured this book.

Lilly and Nikolai have extra hot chemistry and banter. Nikolai is a yummy man. Have mercy...

Lilly is a waitress in a bar when she meets Nikolai, they are explosive together but each time ends up with one of them walking away. After witnessing something she shouldn't, Lilly takes off and starts over in another town. When he finds her, he decides this time he isn't letting go. Mountain Daddy is a bit misleading, yes they end up in the mountains but Nikolai is NOT a mountain man. This is an action packed mafia romance that has a TON of steam.

Mountain Daddy Temptation, an Audiobook by Milli Rabbit is the story of Nikolai and Lilly. They had one night. But, then she runs. He, shockingly finds her again in a tiny town. There are so many shocks and surprises! Lots of danger!! Excellent read!! I’m loving this author!!

This Audiobook was narrated by Juniper West and she was FANTASTIC!!! It isn’t an easy feat to narrate an entire Audiobook…both male and female parts. But, she performed all of them flawlessly and with appropriate levels of emotion and angst.

This story was amazingly written and I absolutely love the characters and their story. This is my first time reading Milli Rabbit and I absolutely will read her work again.

This book took a delightful twist to the countryside! Mafia head Nickolai meets Lilly in the city but after a few steamy nights she disappears. These characters have an intense connection that is magnetic and literally cannot keep their hands off one another when they are within standing distance. This proves true when they meet up again later down the road.

What do you get when mix the Bratva with a mountain man, a fantastic story you can’t put down. This combines two of my favorite genres into one great read. Lilly and Nikolai met at the club where she worked. Knowing what he was didn’t stop her from going to him. Running away was her only chance to keep her baby safe. Five years later Nikolai finds her. He is determined to protect her and his son. Loved it.

Ok let me say that I thought I was reading a book based on an IG reel. TURNS OUT, I read this whole book (in less than a day) only to realize it was the wrong one lol.

All that to say, this was a decent book. I could have taken or left it. Very soft for a dark romance, mafia story so if you’re new to the genre, this is the one for you.
