When I'm not tucked into my favorite chair, earbuds in, typing away on my beloved mechanical keyboard, I'm busy chasing after the husband and kids who bring chaos, joy, and meaning to my life.
From baseball diamonds to bookstores, I'm passionate about storytelling—the kind that lingers long after the last page. I write stories that sink into your skin, make you smile, kick your feet a little, and remind you to embrace your own brand of badass. And if along the way, I make you fall a little in love? Well, that’s just a bonus.
Your next cozy romance is here!! Set in the beautiful landscape of Wyoming, a ranching family sets the stage as the once rodeo star, leader of the family business finds more than he bargained for with the new vet in town. This novel has everything your hoping for: a MMC who won’t quit and always says the right thing, and FMC that is empowered and capable even in her pain, and a found family that is warm, witty, and wonderful!
This novel ALSO has so many elements you don’t always see. I was really impressed to find disability representation that is empowered and honoring, male accountability that turns toxic masculinity on its head, and a host of characters with enough depth that you want to read a book on each one!
Storyline aside, when I read the prologue of this book I was stunned by the beauty of the prose! Of course there’s plenty of witty banter and the swoony dialogue you would expect. But this book soared beyond my expectations with the sweeping depth and movement of the exposition. This author knows how to take the typically mundane inbetween moments and make them pivotal.
If you make this deal, you’ll get more than you bargained for too!

She’s the new girl in town! Joining a family owned veterinary clinic as the newest vet, Parker has moved to small town Wyoming to “get away” from her past. She meets Wyatt under intense circumstances when she shows up as the emergency vet available to assist when his horses are in labor!
Their first interaction wasn’t the smoothest, but as time goes on and they get to know each other, a relationship starts to build! She’s very guarded, but he learns to be patient!
There was a slow cadence to this book - and it worked!!! Each chapter felt thought out!!! I loved the way the story continued to build! I am really looking forward to the next book in the series!!!
A good book. I wish I could give it 5 stars but for me it got a little drawn out. I felt like the chapters kind of ran together and were in the same 2 or 3 locations. With the introductions of the MMC rodeo background in the early chapters and the emphasis on bucking stock I thought maybe there would have been more rodeo scenes or the author could have really drew upon that. The climax of the story was surprising to me and kept me hooked but I didn’t feel that it was fully wrapped up. good read nonetheless.
