Quantum theory has been around for more than 100 years, and one of the strangest aspects about it is the fact of quantum entanglement, as demonstrated by Alain Aspect and others. This book asks the intriguing question, 'What if quantum entanglement is the foundational principle of reality? What if the fabric of reality is made of quantum entanglement?' But it doesn't stop there: the book goes on to ask the question, 'Is consciousness also the results of quantum processes?'
These are questions that the author claims should be answered with 'Yes, quantum entanglement is the basis for all of reality, and the implications of this are staggering.'
This is an interesting and thought-provoking book built on the science of quantum mechanics, but it certainly takes the reader far into the field of farfetched speculation. While I accept the theory of quantum entanglement per se, I am not ready accept the implication that consciousness itself is based on quantum entanglement.
