As someone who's already interested in psychology, I was looking for books on the topic when I came across this one. It's about Inner Child healing.
To be honest, I really enjoyed this book. I found it very easy to read, and one of my favorite things about it is how it breaks down different behaviors and emotional patterns that can stem from childhood wounds. It presents these concepts in a way that's easy to visualize and understand, making it much easier to connect the dots between the patterns described in the book and my own real-life experiences.
There were so many moments, especially in the first half of the book, where I caught myself thinking, "Woah... I actually do that." Some of those behaviors had never occurred to me as possible consequences of my childhood experiences. It was eye-opening to realize that certain ways I think, react, or make decisions as an adult could be linked to unresolved experiences from when I was younger.
I think anyone who picks up this book will gain a better understanding of themselves, especially if they're just beginning their self-discovery journey. It helps you see how your childhood may have shaped the person you are today and why you make certain choices or respond to situations in particular ways. But The book doesn't go very deep into the scientific or psychological research. It focuses on providing practical guidance, emotional support, and simple ways to understand and cope with these patterns. Overall, I found it insightful, approachable, and genuinely helpful which is why I'd definitely recommend it to anyone interested in personal growth and self-understanding.
