3.5 rounded to 4. The collection was fun to read, though most of the stories are way longer than their premises allow for. This usually leads to some annoying weak endings or irresolute finishes; fortunately, however, there's a handy payoff thanks to the smart ideas of the author and his quite considerable storytelling skills. I especially enjoyed the opening story with the mysterious mobile game, and the long tale of the murderer with OCD. But the combination of strong creepypasta vibes and longer story form do not always satisfy. One story I recommend for its inventiveness and its being at just the right length is the tale of the discovered Nazi bunker.

The first few stories didn’t really hook me. In fact they had a couple of plot holes that really bothered me, but that was not an accurate picture of the things to come!

I very much enjoyed the writing for the vast majority of these books! There are a lot of interesting ideas and twists that will entertain even seasoned horror readers!

I had some issues with the story Töllerberg mostly, but many may enjoy that entry too I’m sure.

Check out the collection! It’s great for summer vacation read.

Terrifying &New

Thirteen unbelievably terrifyingly original stories. What a great find!!! The stories are truly in the realm of leaving the lights on n trouble sleeping. Disturbing but in a really good way, reminiscent of old school horror novels. Was a great read n perfect for a dark rainy night!!!

Solid book. Easy to read and new ideas on old tropes. I liked that there were thirteen stories and a story with a 23 th hour.
