She was only half aware of her surroundings but saw that the apartment they had taken her was for this purpose only. It was furnished with plain couches and chairs but no amenities or pictures. To the side she saw a rack with mostly unrecognizable items but before she could take a closer look she was kissed on the lips by Colton. She felt his hand slide to the back of her head, entangling in her hair as he pulled her closer to him in a deeper kiss. More hands were on her, she didn’t know if they were Jude’s or Lucas’s, and she felt them roughly pulling at her clothes to get the warm skin underneath. One man pulled her stockings down while the other yanked her skirt up exposing her panties. She broke the kiss off with Colton to look, and saw that Jude was on his knees behind her, hooking his fingers into her underwear and pulling them down all the way to her feet. She shuddered when her bare p***y was fully exposed to all three men, it was so lewd and naughty, but it was the only way she was going to get what she wanted. Up and over her head her dress slid, lifted by Lucas who was kissing the skin as he exposed it. His lips found the hollow of her neck as Jude deftly unhooked her bra and let her breasts spill out into the waiting hands of Colton. Colton leaned over to take her nipple into his mouth and she felt his teeth grip it, while his tongue sensually made tiny circles around it. She felt her entire body stiffen at the attention. Colton continued to kiss and caress her breasts and Jude positioned himself behind her, pulling her arms around to her back so that her wrists were crossed just below the small of her back. Jessica noticed that she was now completely naked but the three men were all still dressed in their expensive clothes. She didn’t think that was especially fair but there was simply too much happening to her body all at once to complain. With her hand held behind her back, Jessica felt even more exposed. Lucas had stepped aside to the shelf she had noticed before and was returning with a short black strap. Jessica was intimidated but also perversely curious on what he was going to do with it. She didn’t have to wait long because he quickly joined Jude behind her and began to wrap the leather strap around her wrists, firmly and securely joining them together behind her. When he was done, she gave a hesitant tug and found she couldn’t move her arms back in front of her at all. “Not too tight, is it?” Colton said, and he reached around her to check the fit. While secure, the straps were not cutting off her circulation or digging into her skin at all. These men clearly knew exactly what they were doing to her.

I’ve been working my way through the author’s work, and whilst they are far from perfect they are usually quite enjoyable. Prior to The Gauntlet, I had only given her a single one star rating, yet with this one I couldn’t bring myself to enjoy it.

I know such stories are often… well, unrealistic. However, this story left me groaning at the main character. No. Just no. That is all the review I can give. This one was an all-round no for me.
