Sorcha - Vindicta

As warriors, seafarers, diplomats and traders of the Isles of southern Armorica, the Veneti conducted trade freely from Albion to Byzantium, unhindered for eons. Their druid decrees that a great sacrifice is needed to secure the favour of the Gods-and defeat the Romans, who are sure to retaliate.
Sorcha, but a child at the time, wins the honour to become a divine sacrifice and attain an audience with the Gods. However, she must first make the sacred pilgrimage to Mon to meet Taliesin, High Merlin of Albion. For it is said that he awaits the arrival of a particular soul-one who will help him to reshape the future. Taliesin recognises Sorcha as that soul. Yet before the High Merlin can guide her toward her extraordinary destiny, many centuries into the future, he must first allow her to live out her fate in ancient Gallia, where her homeland and kin have just been decimated.
As one of the last of her clan, Sorcha of the Veneti is destined for a glorious death. But can she convince Marcus Antonius, ruler of Gallia and Triumvir of Rome, to allow her to complete her vindicta-to slay their mutual enemy and all those complicit in the genocide of her people?
