Eli
Built a century ago as a secret research facility in the middle of the Australian Outback, The Facility is the only home I’ve ever known—and I’m grateful for it. We have food, water, and guards to protect us from the infected. We’re lucky, we’re safe and I never plan to step beyond our walls.
Until I’m given no choice and I’m sent on a supply run with him—Jacob.
The man who saved my life ten years ago now lurks in the shadows, always watching over me. Can his ever-watchful eye, and experience traversing the harsh Australian desert keep us both safe? Or will the Red Rains and the infection in our blood finally claim us?

Jacob
I try not to think too hard about the future. It’s too easy to get disappointed. I’ve learned too many times not to get attached, and in my ten years here at The Facility, I’ve managed to keep my walls even more secure than the ones around our compound.
Except for him—Eli.
Too beautiful for a world as ugly as this one, I can’t keep myself from watching over him and keeping him safe from the ever-present danger of our lives.
When he’s assigned to my team for a supply run to a neighbouring outpost, I’m faced with my darkest nightmares and deepest fears. And I might just find that there is one thing worse than losing him, and that’s never having him at all.

All Your Days is a full-length MM dark dystopian romance as part of the 1nf3ction shared world collab. Each book is a standalone containing themes and situations not intended for readers under the age of 18. Both characters are consenting adults.

The tension in this book was so high! I was anxiously waiting for something terrible to happen and when it finally did I couldn't put the book down even though I was so stressed!

The virus was really interesting and the way it affects humans and animals was different to any other zombie / post-apocalyptic book I've read before.

Jacob and Eli have an incredibly uncertain future ahead of them being carriers of the virus, but their love for each other when they finally allowed it was so beautiful. Jacob is so protective of Eli!

I could definitely read more about these two quite happily.

I received an ARC of this book from Book Sirens, and this is my honest review

~1.5~

I wasn't a fan of this story and skimmed a bunch.

The "porn star" cover is absurd. Whoever was in charge of the cover designs should be fired.

The MCs get together in like two days, and then they return to the compound, where nothing changes.

There's no suspense, no tension, no HEA, no character development.

Jacob and Eli are one-dimensional puppets.

Uninspired, trite, boring, juvenile writing.

Nope.

All Your Days and Rotten are my favorite books from this series so far; I'm not sure which one I'd pick if I had to!

You know I liked a book when my review is only three sentences. It's the long reviews you mostly have to watch out for.

“The Facility’s not home; it’s never been my home. But you, Eli? You’ve always been where I want to come back to. Where I want to be. Where things felt right. I think that’s what home means, and for me, you’re it.”

I went in ready for blood and red rain… and instead ended up obsessed with a cute as hell connection that completely stole the spotlight. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because even though the emotional side was incredible and the characters’ dynamic was fantastic, I still wanted more from the plot. It wasn’t bad at all, but it lacked the level of action I’ve come to expect from this series.

This book didn’t really feel like a zombie apocalypse story to me, since we barely saw anything related to that; maybe two actual infected scenes, and most of it was just talked about rather than shown. It was still a dystopian, surviving-the-apocalypse story, but with a completely different vibe. The whole red rain aspect was hardly present, but I’m not upset about it, because the story shifted toward the emotional and mental impact the apocalypse had on people — the pain of watching someone you love turn, the grief of losing them to something you can’t stop or fix. And honestly, I enjoyed that angle. The plot was engaging, just definitely on the calmer side.

It still had that suspenseful feeling of waiting to see what would happen next in their journey, and the traveling aspect made the plot interesting, but I do wish more dangerous things had happened, since that’s what I’ve come to expect from this series. What did happen was good, though. I have to say, it was way less bloody and violent than the books before. It actually felt softer, and even though it’s still set in a world full of danger, loss, grief, and violence — all of which we do see in this book — it still didn’t feel as heavy to me, and that’s not a bad thing.

“What if one of us turned right now? Or in our bed overnight? Every day, every night we all put ourselves and our loved ones at risk of the monsters we can become at any moment. Why do we do this to ourselves?”

“Every single person at The Facility has faced the infected. They’ve been our friends, our loved ones, sometimes residents we only know in passing. Everyone who’s turned, everyone sent below is someone we know in some way. The risk is ever present and always real. So much so that it’s become a part of our existence, something we’ve become sickeningly used to.”

“This world… we’re carriers, Eli. If the virus doesn’t get us, it’ll be somethin’ else. It’s always fuckin’ somethin’. It’s inevitable.” Tears sting my eyes and I can’t hold them back. “I can’t lose you, too. I can’t have you and lose you like I lost everyone else. It will–it’ll be the fuckin’ end of me.”

I loved Jacob and Eli. The way they yearned for each other — especially Jacob… my god, I love that in books. I adore when the MMCs want each other so badly and everyone knows it, but they still keep longing from a distance, and then when they finally get together it’s explosive and the TENSION… yep, I loved all of that.

I also loved that this couple felt a little calmer. I mean, the scene when the red rain fell was definitely not calm… at all, but aside from that, they were softer. I loved the way they met, the obsession they had with each other, and how ridiculously cute they were when they started talking. All the blushing, the stammering, the little unnecessary touches, the stolen looks — UGH. I’m literally smiling writing about these two. They’re just so cute. And don’t even get me started on Jacob protecting Eli at any cost, and Eli drawing Jacob for ten years. SO CUTE.

“I don’t wanna live in the shadows anymore. I want to live in the light. I want to live in Eli’s light. I want more than just existing. I want to live. I want to take apart the walls I’ve kept up all these years, and I want to build a life. With him.”

“I lived my worst nightmare—one of ‘em anyway—and I realised… I realised that there are worse things than losin’ you.” My hand finds his in his lap and I squeeze it tight.
“Like what?”
“Like losin’ you while you’re right here. Losin’ our chance to make somethin’ together. Like wastin’ my whole damn life because I’m too damned scared to live it.”

Soooo, if it wasn’t obvious by how many times I’ve repeated myself in this review, this book was calmer, softer, and the MMCs’ connection — their whole adorable, pining-filled story — is what absolutely did me in and made me love it.

“We fall into another kiss, losing ourselves to one another. And while I don’t know what’s coming, or where our lives will take us, I know that we’ll face it together. For all our days.”

"Give me one night. Just one night where I can pretend you're mine."

"I can't lose you, too."

"I don't wanna risk you."

"It's always been you. Jacob. Always."

"The Facility is not home, it's never been my home. But you, Eli? You've always been where I want to come back to. Where I want to be. Where things feel right. I think that's what home means, and for me, you're it."

Eli and Jacob are the cutest boys ever. 🥹💙
This book was unexpectedly soft considering the world they live in, and I loved every second of it. 🥰

They met when they were teens — Jacob saved Eli from a very not-fun situation.
But life taught Jacob not to get attached. So he spent years keeping Eli at arm’s length… while still lowkey sweet-stalking him because he just couldn’t stay away. 😅🤭

And then? Fate laughed and went, “Let’s make this interesting.” 😏 Because guess who gets assigned to Jacob’s mission team when it unexpectedly changes? Yup. Eli. 🤭🤭

I really loved their chemistry. Their story? It was adorable. I was grinning like an idiot the whole time. 🥹💙
And the spice? Oh, it definitely spiced. 🌶️🔥

All Your Days was heartfelt, tender, and exactly what I wanted for these two. They were always meant to be together. 💙

This book felt different from the others—at least that’s the impression I had. Because of the slowish burn, there was more space to really dive into the characters and their inner worlds. What I especially loved was how much focus was put on the Raiders’ mental state, and how those struggles connected to the changes in their world.

And honestly, the sneaking around between Eli and Jacob didn’t bother me at all this time, simply because everything else was written so well. Eli is way too pure for this world, while Jacob puts on a strong front but is deeply broken inside and haunted by abandonment issues. Their dynamic—both together and in the context of the group—was crafted beautifully.

Oh, and my absolute favorite scene? Hands down the one at the hotel, and everything that followed after. That one will forever stick with me😩👏

Set in a merciless, brutal post-apocalyptic world (Australia, specifically, in this book) with zombies, the story is surprisingly tender and sweet, a slow burn between the main characters. The MCs are well portrayed.
I liked the pace, the vivid world-building, and the writing style, it was my first time reading this author. I loved everything about this book and highly recommend it if you enjoy this kind of setting: we get action, spice, adventure and love.

“Like losin’ you while you’re right here. Losin’ our chance to make somethin’ together. Like wastin’ my whole damn life because I’m too damned scared to live it.”

Book 4 in the Inf3ction series, and this series just keeps pulling me in. Jacob has avoided Eli for years he watches him, makes sure he's safe, but at a safe distance, afraid of what he thinks he can't have. Eli, know it's always been Jacob. He's always there but just out of reach. Until being trapped in the red rain forces them to face their truths. They've belonged to each other all along.

I was completely hooked on their story, and the build-up was spot-on - I'm convinced the writing and story could not have been any better written ❤️

Yet another strong entry in this series. The standout for me in this is DEFINITELY the pining. I cannot believe it took these two idiots that long to just communicate properly, it’s literally the zombie apocalypse ffs.

Of course their stupidity results in some absolutely delightful tension which I thoroughly enjoyed. The “only one bed” trope was very well executed in this and enjoyed it immensely. I’m also still absolutely loving the red rain trope and the way it sometimes makes our characters a bit feral (in the best way possible).

This obviously had some tragedy mixed in as well but I found it on the whole to be pretty low angst. The ending was so so sweet and I really loved these two a lot. Also a quick shoutout to the fact that this one’s set in Australia, it made a nice change and I loved all the landscape and wildlife tidbits.

I’m absolutely in love with this series and grateful to be introduced to so many new authors.

I will probably keep saying it, but i've just really loved how we're getting so many different sides of this world.

I really loved Eli, I feel like him and Kieran from the previous book would be besties. Something about having one of the MCs be hardened and rough while the other is just a ball of sunshine hits every time.

AND THAT RAIN SEX HITS EVERYTIME TOO.

Another thing I've loved is getting to know different authors, I really liked this writing so I will be checking out more from Ali!

🌶🌶🌶

Surprisingly sweet dystopian romance
Zombies
Pining
Only one bed at the Inn
Just One Night
It’s always been you
Grumpy / Cinnamon Roll

Yeah so this was fantastic. Each book in this series has been incredible.

I really love it so much.

Eli and Jacob met years ago, Jacob saving Eli from an unfortunate fate.

Jacob having been left at the Facility where Eli is living, the two never really speak after that, years pass and Jacob, due to his past never connects with Eli, nor anyone really. Afraid to live and lose.

Poor Jacob, silent, broody, full of pining and longing for Eli but can’t get out of his head. Jacob works as a guard of sorts at the facility.

Eli is a grunt, also working there too and he too is filled with pining and longing, but he has friends and hookup and everyone wants a piece of him. It’s jacob he wants though.

These two were so sweet and adorable but also so stupid lol I loved them so much.

Books filled with longing and pining are everything, they make the end so so sweet.

These two went through alot. Jacob and Eli were sent on admission to trade, but it did not go to plan. And in some ways I think it did.

“Give me one night. Just one night where I can pretend you’re mine. One night and then we’ll lock whatever this is between us away forever. Just like you want.”

You should just read this, it was fantastic. Jacob and Eli are everything.

After having one night together, Jacob finally realizes he has not been living and wants to try to be with Eli. Being with Eli is more important than his fear.

“I don’t wanna live in the shadows anymore. I want to live in the light. I want to live in Eli’s light. I want more than just existing. I want to live. I want to take apart the walls I’ve kept up all these years, and I want to build a life. With him.”

They were just so sweet.

“It’s always been you, Jacob. Always.”

Love this series

So thankful for this arc

Thank you to the author for an arc copy of this book! It gets a very enthusiastic 5 stars from yours truly.

I signed up to read the whole infection series, where each book is done by a different author.

They're all post apocalyptic in setting, with an interesting premise.

I don't want to spoil it, but let's just say: chemical rain can turn people or bring out a different side to them.

This one really captivated me from the start, set in the Australian outback, at a secret base's research facility.

Humanity has really been through it, a disease ravaged the world and there aren't a lot of humans left.

Our two MC's are Eli and Jacob, and they couldn't be more different.

However, these boys are absolutely FERAL, and I'm here for it. One ticket, please. 🥺

Eli is on the smaller, softer and prettier side, which is why he sticks to the safety of the research lab, tucked away from the crazy world.

Jacob is a tough, stern, security guard who is often tasked with going on supply runs.

He's seen a lot, and has lost many who grew close to him. His solution is to not allow anyone to get close.

He watches Eli constantly, keeping him safe, but from a distance.

It hurts, but he would rather have him be alive.

That is, until Eli is tasked with going on a supply run, with Jacob in charge.

They're forced together, with tension at an all time high between the two of them.

At first, it's just one night, but they cannot stay away from each other.

And to make it worse, the red rain is on its way.

The story was so fast paced, and the *yearning* had me in a chokehold. You're rooting for the two of them to just let themselves *have* one thing in a world that is harsh and takes everything away from you.

The side characters were great too, you gotta love their close relationships and banter with the MC's. It's definitely more of a "these two idiots are the only ones that don't see how in love they are" kind of way.

Now on my way to read more books in the series!

“I can’t lose you, too. I can’t have you and lose you like I lost everyone else. It will–it’ll be the fuckin’ end of me.”

The pining ❤️❤️❤️ I loved Jacob’s obsession with Eli it was the cutest thing. Even though Eli tries to hide his own interest in Jacob over the years even from himself. Forced proximity changes Eli’s outlook on Jacob as he begins to see the cute flustered side he normally doesn’t get to see at The Facility. The tension between the two is electric until it snaps. The hotel 🔥🔥 Did I tear up at the sketch books…..maybe…. Not my fault though I’m a sucker for hidden cute things lol. This book reminds me of the quote "Don't fear death, fear the un-lived life". Never let being afraid of what may happen keep you from living the life you have.

“I don’t wanna live in the shadows anymore. I want to live in the light. I want to live in Eli’s light. I want more than just existing. I want to live. I want to take apart the walls I’ve kept up all these years, and I want to build a life. With him.”

This is my second book by Ali Woods and her writing style and story’s are so easy to read and get lost in. This zombie MM universe is great. Jacob and Eli are perfect together. How they met was intense. Jacob saving a young Eli and then Eli growing up infatuated by his saviour. This was a shorter novel but even though it was shorter there was the perfect amount of angst, and spice. No third act break up and great communication between Eli and Jacob. I look forward to more by Ali and more in this series. There is nothing I didn’t like about this book.

I was provided the ARC in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

I am loving this series and was so glad to grab this one as an ARC! I loved getting a jump forward in the time line, to get to see what life looking like farter way from the initial infection. Also really loved the setting it played so well into the dystopian part of the story line! Eli and Jacob have an impossibly hard life, Eli isn’t as jaded and hardened by his past but Jacob is just so scared to let anyone in and having that person be lost. He feels it would break him. It takes quite a bit for them to just give in and take a hold of something they want and let life happen. I loved them!

Review for (Mayhem Manuscripts Season One- Inf3ction by Ali Woods

This story drew me in because it was so interesting and kept me from wanting to put it down till I finished it. Yeah, my man was like, "Honey, you need to go to sleep." To what I said, "I will when I finish this story lol." I have grown to love dark dystopian stories. I just can't seem to get enough. I love Eli & Jacob's story. It was hard at times, but as we all know, nothing is worth it unless you fight for it in the end. This book was that to a T. Ali Woods is newish to me, and I can say she is one of my auto-reads for sure. Can't wait to see what is next in this series, world.

3.5 ⭐️ This was a much sweeter story than I was expecting. Jacob and Eli have been dancing around each other for 10 years. The world has been decimated by the RRV3 though in the desert like landscape of Australia the red rains are few and far between. The two are part of the hierarchy in the medical facility they live in and are by some unknow circumstance thrown together on a trade quest. Jacob finally works through what’s been holding them back as they adventure through their journey. I really loved Eli’s character.

This multi author series is just the best. New zombie ideas, new settings, and new sweet broken boys who fall in love. I really enjoyed this version of the red rain and the ensuing sexy chaos.

I'll even forgive the... Intimate times between two men who have been exposed to the sweltering heat of the dusty outback for 3 days with no shower because a) hot and b) I adored their 10 year pining.

The best part of this series has been adding another bajillion books to my TBR because all these authors have entranced me!

🐫 We get through this together. That's what you said. You and me. Whatever it takes 🧟‍♂️

"It's not that I want the tall, frowning shadow following me about, glowering at me whenever I talk or laugh or just exist. But it's become familiar. Like the way you get used to nauseating gruel they serve in the cafeteria during lean harvests."

"Because sometimes I feel like one of the zombified down below, rattling the bars of my cage, just going through the motions each day, waiting for the end."

"It's like he's the sun, and I'm just a snake trying to warm my belly on the rocks baked in his glowing light."

"Give me one night. Just one night where I can pretend you're mine. One night and then we'll lock whatever this is between us away forever. Just like you want."

"The hard shell he's kept himself in for the last decade has cracked and I want to bust it entirely open. Well, not all the way open. I want to bust open an Eli-sized hole, so I can worm my way inside of this prickly man and discover every piece of him."

"This world...we're carriers, Eli. If the virus doesn't get us, it'll be somethin' else. It's always f***** somethin'. It's inevitable. I can't lose you, too. I can't have you and lose you like I lost everyone else. It will--it'll be the f***** end of me."

"We get through this together. That's what you said. You and me. Whatever it takes."

"But we survived. Together. And I wanna keep surviving together, too."

"Eli calls me a ghost, always haunting the shadows of his life. I don't wanna live in the shadows anymore. I want to live in the light. I want to live in Eli's light."

What another great book in this series. This one had me on the edge of my seat until the end. The plot kept me engaged throughout the story. The pining was delicious in this. This was a slow burn, but when the spice hit it, it was 🔥🔥🔥. I loved how this book showed the community of people, their roles, and how they built it all up to live in this place since they were kids. This story had some dark and sad moments.

This story follows Eli and Jacob. They first meet when Eli is thirteen and Jacob saves his life. Jacob is a merchie who trades and barters between places. He ends up staying at the facility that everyone lives at and becomes a guard who goes on runs. Due to Jacob's past, he keeps everyone at arms length. Both of these men are obsessed with each other. Jacob stalks Eli and Eli draws Jacob. Eli is sent on a run with Jacob and feelings start to come out. The entire trip is them surviving everyone and everything. Will Jacob finally stop living in the past? Can Eli survive this trip as he has no experience being out there? Who will make it back in one piece alive?

I wanted to throttle Jacob and tell him STOP! Just live in the now and stop being afraid to lose what you don't have. Eli was such a sweet and beautiful boy. He has wanted Jacob since he was young. The feelings pent up over the years for both men, making the pining so delicious. I loved how Jacob always protected and looked out for Eli. He was his ghost and protector. I was happy Jacob finally got his s*** together so they can finally be together and be happy. I loved how fiery Eli could be. The chemistry and spicy times were 🥵🔥😏. This was a hard fight to their HEA, but they both survived together. I'm so happy Lou also survived everything. Sad we lost some side characters, but Lou prevailed!

All Your Days by Ali Woods is part of Mayhem Manuscripts Season One: 1nf3ction Series (fourth book to be released). It’s a part of a bigger interconnected world, but all the books are standalones, so you don't have to worry about reading order. 😉

Though this is a post-apocalyptic/dystopian romance, it was surprising to me how it manages to be both tense and tender at the same time. Not something I expected from a book with this setting...not at all a bad thing. The story actually takes place decades after a virus (from Red rains) reshaped the world, so the setting of the book is dark and gritty, but the tone of the book is unusually warm.
I really loved the slow build of tension throughout the book, and I was constantly on edge, waiting for something to happen, to go wrong...and wow, it was both exhilarating and exhausting! 😅
The virus itself is such an interesting and original concept, and the way it affects both people and animals was quite terrifying...and fascinating in a way. And the way that it added to the worldbuilding, that was already rich in details, was smashing!

As for Jacob and Eli, they were adorable, frustrating, and just lovable. I love that we get to see their initial meeting and a little glimpse of their history. I loved their chemistry, Eli’s unsuccessful self-denial of his crush on Jacob, Jacob’s unrelenting protectiveness, and all that pent-up emotions. Eli’s openness and kindness (even when he shouldn’t be) comes of almost alien in this harsh world. In contrast, Jacob is the silent, “tough” guy who is distant and closed of from everyone due to his fear of loss. But once they are thrown together and forced to spend time with each other, their relationship starts to slowly but steadily progress, so you have a feeling of it growing naturally. Also, bless the author, there’s no unnecessary drama or third-act breakup, which I was fearing. It’s just two people figuring it all out together, even with the world gone to sh!t.

The story has a surprising softness (as I already mentioned 😅) and is written in a way that it feels inviting and is so easy to get lost in. One of the things I liked is how the author don’t makes us rush through the emotional parts of the story. Woods gives the characters, and us, plenty of time/space to feel all the feelings, to process their fears, doubts, hopes. That gives us a better understanding of the characters, and an emotional depth to them and the story.
I also loved the Australian outback setting, not something I come across often, and I loved how it gave kind of rugged feel to it all.

While there is some action, I loved how most of the tension comes not only from the characters, but also from the setting and the uncertainty of their world.
All in all, I had much fun with this book. It was a refreshing change from my usual reads, and I would definitely recommend it.

I received a copy of this book from the author, and this is my unbiased review.

I would like to thank BookSirens for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.

In this sweet and spicy dystopian romance, Eli and Jacob had kept their feelings for each other on the dl for ten years, before a trade excursion gone awry forced them into survival mode and inescapably into each other's arms.

With the threat of ragey zombie-turns, and the caustic group of guards accompanying the MCs on their trade route, and just the general melodrama of enduring the outback, All Your Days was a pretty exciting and interesting read. Throw in scummy people from other settlements, and the weather phenomena that pushed Eli and Jacob to get their savage-sexy on, there was enough high-stakes action to keep this story going strong, even though we've seen this energy before.

Usually the romance would be the emotional piece tying it all together. I mean, the threat of death, by either succumbing to the strain of whatever infectious virus had eradicated the comforts and tech we enjoy rn, or murdery bandit-merc types, or wild beasts roaming the dystopian landscape, easily provide challenges that boost MCs to love deeper.

But tbh I really wasn't feeling the romance. And I especially wasn't feeling Eli. I didn't get why he was so spikey after super hot decisions were made one sexy night, that both he and Jacob had agreed on. I reread the second half of this book just to make sure I wasn't missing something. But nope. Eli was just being extra.

Not a big deal, but I don't usually read this subgenre so I was properly horrified by the vibe, and I found Eli's irritation towards Jacob exhausting and uncool. Like, keep it together and have a tantrum when everyone's safe.

I actually liked Jacob's character a lot. But I think most of that was admiration, because he was saddled with a bunch of people who gave him a very hard time on an important supply run that could cost everyone their lives!

My guy, where was the respect?

They were all donkeys, but the sex was beast-mode ferocious, so there's that if you're into it.

Stars for Jacob, Lou and the camels, because according to my nervous system dystopian romance is now akin to horror, and therefore having the skills to survive in either genre gets props from me.

✨️📚 Arc - Review 📚✨️

Eli & Jacob

Rating: 4,5 ⭐️

- Grunt x Guard
- Forced Proximity
- Only One Bed
- All The Pinning
- Australian Outback
- Survival
- Infected
- "It's Always Been You"

After reading "Rotten" by Bree Wiley, I just HAD to get my hands on this one when I saw the ARC being offered.

It's the same world, but thanks to multi- authors also completely different.

Eli and Jacob are just the cutest 💙
This was unexpected, considering the world they live in and the overall dark feeling of the other books in these series.

I loved their chemistry. I loved their sweetness 💕

I loved that this wasn't as dark as I expected.
These boys just belong together 💙💙💙

Ali Woods just has a thing for making everything sweet, even if the world is dark and dystopian.

I enjoyed reading it, and I'll probably never stop recommending one of her books 🩷🩷🩷

All Your Days by Ali Woods is the fourth book in the INFECTION series by Mayhem Manuscripts. This is a series of standalone books that are all part of an interconnected world. All Your Days takes place several decades after the infection caused by the Red Rain took hold, creating a sub-species of infected individuals. Some are no longer human while many live with the infection but haven’t yet turned. All Your Days is a sweet, dystopian romance with forced proximity, zombies, and some light stalking.

Eli has been a resident of The Facility all his life. After the death of his parents, he began working in the lab doing grunt work. He’s never left the inner walls of the lands of The Facility but all that is about to change when he gets orders that he is going on a week long mission with a man he met when both of them were just teens. A man who’s spent the last 10 years watching his every move. A man he’s wanted since that first meeting but always remained just out of arm’s length.

Jacob arrived at The Facility with a band of merchants ten years ago. The day he arrived, he met Eli in a heaping pile of trash. Eli is the only person Jacob has ever wanted but his demons and fears keep him running in the opposite direction. That is, until orders come down from the top that he is to lead a supply mission with Eli in tow. It makes no sense why they would send an inexperienced grunt along on this mission but orders are orders.

All Your Days was a really sweet and adventurous story. The plot was fun but a less dark than other books in this series. I really liked how Jacob’s character was a little slower to unravel and evolved compared to Eli. Eli’s character was very much an open book throughout the entirety of the story. Jacob was more of a mystery, especially given his means of how he ended up living at The Facility. Overall, the plot and character development were good and I gave this book 4 stars.

4.5⭐

All Your Days" is a deeply emotional and raw MM dystopian romance that explores the heavy themes of survival, trauma, and finding love when the world is literally falling apart. This book focuses on Eli and Jacob, and their journey from reluctant companions in a dangerous wasteland to finding a shared future.

The chemistry between Eli and Jacob is palpable from the very first page. Their relationship is forged in the fires of crisis—first surviving a deadly outbreak on a supply run, and then the crushing emotional weight of loss. Jacob, the closed-off, stoic survivor, and Eli, the open-hearted observer who uses his art to process the world, are perfectly balanced.

What truly elevates this story is the emotional honesty. The dialogue is sharp, funny, and incredibly vulnerable, particularly in the later chapters when Jacob is forced to confront his decade-long fear of commitment and loss. The moments of intense passion are beautifully written, serving as both a powerful distraction from the horror and a profound expression of their desperate need for connection. The gradual reveal that Eli has been sketching Jacob for years is a gorgeous, heartbreaking touch.

This is a story about coming home—not just to a physical place like 'The Facility,' but to a person. It's about realizing that the biggest risk isn't the infected or the desert, but the chance of wasting precious time.

If you love dark, character-driven dystopian romances with high emotional stakes and an earned, hard-fought HEA (Happily Ever After), you need to read "All Your Days." Eli and Jacob's story will stay with you.

Another great book in the 1nf3ction series!

Jacob has always wanted Eli, ever since the first day they met as teenagers and Jacob saved Eli from being bitten by an infected snake. But as they grew up Jacob was cold towards him, wouldn't even speak to Eli. Jacob just couldnt bare to get close to someone again all for it to be ripped away like it has been with his family and friends so he thinks its best not to get close.

Although he couldnt completely let him go and watched him any chance he could, when Eli was wprling, eating, being intimate with other, he couldnt let him out of his sight. He even saved Eli from being taken without him even knowing it.

Eli is tasked with a trades run to another town and who is also on the trip...Jacob. The trip ends terribly when they are on their way back home but it makes Jacob finally come to his senses. And when he does - boy its bl00dy good!

We finally get a view of what its like to be a carrier when the rain hits, its chaotic, messy, damn right feral and when Eli and Jacob are locked in a trailor together - it's hot as hell!
I'm so glad that Ali gave us that insight, and it was written perfectly! Chefs kiss!

The way Ali has written Jacob and Eli is just perfect. Eli is such a gorgeous character, total golden retriever vibes, even when faced with terrible situations, I just want to keep him safe at all costs. But we have Jacob for that and my god does he take the word "mine" to another level and it was just perfection to read!

Their relationship growth was beautiful to read, and the years of pining and yearning for both of them paid off and I was their biggest cheerleader!

Loved this book in the 1nf3ction series, im working my way through and they are all just as brilliant as the rest so far.

When I saw that Jacob and Eli's story took place in Australia I was so excited! I'm really loving this multi author series, but what I'm loving the most is how each author is being so unique and creative with their stories. Like how Ali has hers set in Australia, that alone is so cool, but her twists on the infected and the different animals that are now zombified was really awesome to read about.

I'm sure you're wondering about the main characters and if their romance came through even with the dystopian world and the zombies... I'm here to tell you that yes, their romance came through exceptionally well and was written in a really great way.

Jacob and Eli have been connected ever since Jacob saved Eli from a zombified snake. Ever since that day Jacob has kept his eyes on Eli but has never gotten close... Until they are both sent off on a journey out beyond their protected walls into the dancers of the wilderness... Their journey is not an easy one but if one good thing came out of it it's that these two men FINALLY talked to one another!!

Jacob and Eli are different but are so compatible together, I loved the scenes where they traded heartfelt and sometimes silly stories. Those moments really had the romance brewing between them shine through. While there were adorable scenes of them together, there was also a lot of angst for these two as well. Eli wants to live life to the fullest and not love in fear, whereas Jacob is scared of loving someone else just for him to lose them again... They have a long journey ahead of them, both literally and figuratively, but gosh, it was beautiful when they finally got there in the end.

This book is part of the 1nf3ction Series so the story is in a Dystopian setting with zombies. It is a Dark Romance so check your TWs. This one wasn't *AS* dark as the other ones don't get me wrong it's still dark I mean people are zombified but if your looking for something with slightly less angsty this might be a good one for you.

🌶🌶🌶.5

Eli and Jacob have both suffered from loss but the difference is how the loss changed their view on the world/relationships. Jacob has refused to form any type of bonds for fear of the pain when the inevitable loss happens. Eli hasn't shied away from people and has made a little family of friends. When Jacob saves Eli as a kid Eli becomes the sole focus of Jacob's even if that focus is from afar. Eli doesn't miss this though and always notices Jacob even when he is trying to be invisible.
When Jacob and Eli get put on a mission together where they have no where to run and have to confront this Jacob has to face the truth that the pain of never feeling love or closeness might actually be worse then never feeling anything at all.
This is my first book by Ali and I was not disappointed! There was drama and action and wheeeew the spice! 🔥🔥🔥 I will say there was a little twisty that got me! I was expecting the threat to come from one direction but BAM whole different direction! This was a great addition to the series so far and I felt like I could breathe a little through this story and focus on the two and the different environment they were in. I'm telling you so far this world has been amazing and I can't wait for the next one!

There are some stories that feel like they reach straight into your chest and hold your heart for a while All Your Days was one of those for me. It’s set against a stark, dangerous Australian Outback, but what gripped me most wasn’t just the Red Rains or the infection or even the supply run; it was the slow, quiet unfurling of two people who’ve been circling one another for years finally letting their walls down.

Ali Woods gives Jacob and Eli so much interiority that you feel every crack in their armour. Eli, too soft for a world this brutal, and Jacob, a man built from loss who still can’t stop watching over him, are written with such tenderness that their relationship never feels like a trope it feels lived-in. Their “it’s always been you” energy is palpable. By the time we reach the hotel scene (and everything that follows) I was gone: my heart broke, mended, and then soared. Even the small details the notebook, Jacob calling The Facility “home” only after Eli left me teary.

Yes, it’s a dark dystopian romance, but it’s also a love story about finding a home in another person after believing that kind of safety was impossible. The spice scenes are exactly enough, the stubbornness after them believable, and the sense of hope under all the grit absolutely beautiful. I finished this book feeling grateful, a little raw, and completely in love with these characters.

☣️ ARC Review ☣️

‘All your days’ by Ali Woods
Coming : October 9th 2025.

It's my first book set in Australia! 🐪
While the other books i've read in these series are a little more darker, this one is a lighter read.

Set in the same dystopian world, where the red rain infects people and turns them into zombies 🧟
This story takes place in the Australian Outback, In 'The Facility' a place where people can live 'in peace', the red rain doesn't fall as often here.
While there are still people being infected and turned into zombies this story is about Eli and Jacob.
Who are secretly in love with eachother for over 10 years.❤️

There's a LOT of pining going on 😜

Eli lives in the facility and works in the lab, while Jacob is a guard. He didn't grew up in the facility and he'd seen some things, things that make him not want to love, he has lost too many people he cared for.

These two men are send out in the 'wild' on a trading trip..
Yep.. only one bed...🫣

Will Jacob be able to let Eli in?
Will Eli be brave enough to tell Jacob how he feels?

This was a beautiful love story about two very different men, who can't seem to stay away from eachother
