This book was much better than the first one. It was pretty good but I hope part 3 is the end I just need closure.

I thought this one was better than the first because they were older, kind of hate the author had to throw in some underage stuff though. Not sure what’s going to happen with Shyy but I think his character will be back on some nonsense, hopefully he’ll stay away until she’s had the baby or becomes a problem that way. Ahmad really needed to let the street stuff go because Tuck’s had way too many chances and without dealing with him he’s going to really hurt someone.
The ending was nasty to say the least but I’m going to guess Rocky is going to save her. The way Pia’s been holding info or waiting to let it be known she’ll probably do the same and they’ll somehow catch Ahmad tripping if Tuck has already made a move seeing as though they followed her or something. Either way the next one should be a pretty good read if the characters continue to grow.

THIS BOOK HAD LIES, JEALOUSY, DECITE & REVENGE WHICH CAUSE A LOT OF DRAMA FOR THE CHARACTERS. SHADID IS HOME!!!!!!!!! AMEER HAD TO THINK THAT SENDING SOPHIE TO CALI AWAY FROM HIM WAS ONLY HURTING HER IN THE END. ENZO PUT ON A GOOD COVER FOR SOPHIE MAKING HIM LOOK LIKE THE GOOD GUY BUT SHE LATER FINDS OUT THAT HE ISN'T. TO THINK THAT JANELLE COULD BE THAT JEALOUS OF SOPHIE TO HAVE BEEN BEHIND THE PLAN ON GETTING HER KIDNAPPED DUE TO HER HAVING A BETTER LIFE THAN HER'S IS CRAZY & SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HER BEST FRIEND YEAH OK SMH. Man of man this part 2 was the best.The drama,lies,deceit,betrayal,jealousy and down right HATE was at 10.Ameer sending Sophie to cali only hurt their relationship.Sophie pregnant and alone in cali has to deal with drew and her disappearing acts and trying to make her life better.Ameer family has so much drama going on with his dad out of jail he wants to walk away but aamil getting arrested makes it hard.The matin men are crazy but swag for days.Alana and mason secret is out which causes more drama that leaves Aamil in the middle.Tatum sneaky ass tries to win Ameer back by being nice with the help of his mother only to hate her own son and try to kill him.Ok no more spoilers just read the book it's a must.

The Matin brother are back and someone in the camp is gunning for them. Just when they thought the enemy was gone they have to got to war. Sophie is a socially bait but at the same time she is dealing with the feeling of Amber being disloyal to her. Sophie and Amber relationship is rocking at every turn but Amber's love for her is undeniable. Kasem and Erin are a wild bunch and make no mistake about she doesn't plan about her man. Tatum is still on a rampant but at the expense of Ahmad. But of her neglecte she causes a rift between Ameer and Sophie. Once again thought Amber shows his ass. Alana is no better either she's pulled the trigger which could cost her her life...I'm on to book 3

SPOLIER: What the heck?! Ugh no I can't believe it ended that way. Tatum is going to get what she deserves I hope. Alana is Just as tryflyn as she is, and I hope she gets it too. Ameer isn't gonna learn until it's too late and he's lost Sophie for good. I think Drew and Aamil are sneaking around together. And now Enzo has came and kidnapped Sophie while Ameers mom has killed his dad. This book was just getting good too.

This book was sooooooo good. I didn't want it to end. This book had me on the edge of my seat with anticipation. As soon as you thought things were getting better something would come along and throw everything off. I love Ameer and Aamil. I need Alan, Floyd and Janelle to die like asap. I can't wait for part 3. Great job Dominique!

Now this is definitely a good book part one and part two both were great books. The author has done a great job with these books. I just got wonder what part three will bring. I am so team Ameer and Sophie but Ameer got to get it together. Dominique Thomas is going to be one of my favorite authors.

There is still hope for Ameer & Sophie to get married and they are now expecting again. Enzo has kidnapped Sophie...Ameer get on your job. Mama Alana is sadly mistaken about Tatum, who was poisoning her grandchild Ahmad. Plus she can't get away with pinning the murder of her husband on Mason. Girl bye!

So, the first book in the series was a little slow but this one had me "bitting my lip". When you read you will understand. I really dislike Tatum, and she needs to be skinned alive.
