Shark Attack by Jake Maddox is a survival story so it is realistic fiction. It is a great, intense, and adventurous book. Shark Attack is about Brendan and his friend Alex, they both go surfing together everyday. Everyone tells Brendan that it's dangerous and there's sharks but Alex tells him different. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes adventure and suspense because of the actions Brendan and Alex took

I read the first 2 pages and the protagonist complained 4 times... The content is very easy to read, but I don't feel the quality at all. I am not a fan of books complaining about family members (i.e.annoying sister) or making things more dramatic than they actually are.

This story is about a kid named Brandon and his friend named Alex. Brandon is visiting for a couple weeks. Brandon and Alex likes to surf so they surfed everyday. One day they went surfing and they got trap in the water by sharks. This story is a survival story so it is fiction. This story is a great story.
This story takes place on the beach at day time and also noon. A kid named Brandon and his friend Alex like to surf at the beach. All the do is surf.
Brandon came home for the beach and his mom asked him to go to the store for her. When he got to the story he got everything he was suppose to get and then asked the cashier if there was any sharks in the area where he surfs. The cashier said that there was a shark spotted a couple years ago. When Brandon got home he gave his mom everything for the store. The next day Brandon went to the beach with Alex to surf. When Brandon went to go surf he thought he saw a shark fin. Alex did not see the shark fin. He thought Brandon was seeing things. Brandon got mad at Alex. Brandon and Alex got trapped by sharks. Alex and Brandon run from the sharks and got away. Alex and Brandon was safe.
The conflict is that there are sharks at the beach. I know because the title of the book is called, "Shark Attack". And also because Alex and Brandon gets trapped by sharks. The theme is survival because Brandon and Alex had to survive from the sharks. I also know because on the cover is said, "A Survival Story". This story not bad, They did not get trap by sharks until the last chapter. This story is a good story.
I would rate this story 4 stars because It just tells us about Brandon and Alex surfing until the last chapter, they get trapped by the sharks. I think people should read this book because it is not that bad. This is a good story and people should read it.

Many people think that sharks can not be close to the beach but it can. Alex thought he new every thing but he did not know everything. The Genre of my story is realistic fiction.
This story took place at the beach. The major event in this story is when Berdon saw the shark close to the beach. But Alex did not belive him. The con flick in this story is person vs person because he didn't believe it was a shark this close to the beach.my rising action is when the Berdon saw the shark close buy the beach.
It's obvious that it was know shark by the beach because it was to close , Berdon had saw the fin sticking out the water.In the story it says that berdon had saw a shark close by the beach. And Berdon was sacred of the shark that he was going to get betting so he checked his self first.
In my opinion I think this story was good and it has great detail and dialog. If I had to rate this book from one to ten I will rate it a six. I was surprised when Alex said he was sorry when he saw the shark I think people who like to go surfing should read this book.

My son and I read this book together The story was about two boys, Brendan and Alex. The boys liked to surf where there was not a crowd. The boys ended up surfing where there were sharks, Mushroom Rock. Brendan ended up being bit by a shark, but he lived to tell the story. This book had lots of action.
