This was a great story. The children were asked to stay after school to put together the books that they had written. They each got 4 books for Christmas gifts for their parents and grandparents. While they were doing just that there was a commotion that the teacher( who is a dragon from Story one) went to check it out. She left Carrie in charge. The kids were ok until the lights went out and they decided to look out the window to see what was going on.It was sort of funny from an adult perspective, but from a child's it was scary. The kids were brave and helped to deal with the monsters on the outside that came in. We meet Ivy's sister Emma as well as 3 other girls.
Nan had a great way to incorporate a baby unicorn and goblins in the same storyline. This is a stand a lone book, but it is great when you read books one and two also.
I recommend this author very highly. as I read each of her books, I am more in love with the series.

School is getting worse, well not worse but invaded by goblins. Once again Carrie, Ivy and David are caught in the middle. The magic is rife and growing, stronger, with a unicorn that is being hunted hidden in the school. Another wonderful book in the story. Great ties back to the first two books which made the story special with a growth of new characters that can bring more adventures in the future.
