Catching my wife Melissa cheating on me sends me running into my best friend's embrace.
I wasn’t planning to get anything but a pat on the back and a shoulder to cry on, but Ryan’s big arms and his masculine scent unravels something deep inside me that I didn’t know was there.
It feels like everything in my life is turning upside down and I don't know where I stand, but for every clumsy step I take in this mess, Ryan is there at my side until I realize there is no one else I'd rather lean on.
Even if that means crossing the same line that Melissa did...

"We can tell anyone you want," he said, sliding closer to me. "Or just not hide it. Or keep it completely secret. I don't care. Your call. I just want to try this."
I couldn't wrap my head around it, not even when his hand slid into the hair at the nape of my neck, not even when he steered me toward him with a firm grip. Not even when he kissed me.
My eyes fluttered shut and I leaned in, sighing against his lips, hand flying to the front of his shirt to grip it tightly so he couldn't pull away.
When we parted though, my mouth just kept running like it hadn't been interrupted by straight-up heaven.
"What do you mean you want to try this? What is this?"
"You tell me," he said, pressing his lips to mine again, briefly this time. Fucking tease. "What do you want from me?"
I meant to say anything, but I whispered, "everything," and he moaned softly, kissing me again before responding.
"I was hoping you would say that."
I had definitely fallen and hit my head at some point today—probably on the way to Kamran's car. He'd probably showed up to tell me our friendship was done for good, and now, here I was in a coma, imagining the complete opposite. I was going to be so pissed when the doctors resuscitated me.
fuck me. this is good and promising. but stories like this deserve this massive 400 pages with ultra slowburn romance treatment. love love kamran and ryan but i just wanted to feel the hurt more. i need swim in it. i need to be choked by it. and honestly this book is about cheating so why some of these readers acting surprise? lmao
Short and sweet, pick this up if you want a safe, lovely read that has the decent amount of spice in it. Two best friends in a room, they might kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiss 👀🔥
So Faithfully Yours follow Kamran and Ryan who has been best friends since University. Ryan has been in love with Kamran throughout all his time knowing him but since Kamran was straight as a cucumber Ryan decided not to even tell Kamryn that he was gay. He didn’t want Kamran to be uncomfortable around him. Ryan wanted to be in Kamryn’s life even tho he couldn’t have him so he stayed as his best friend.
Now we have Kamran who is married to a lovely woman named Melissa. So all this drama started when Kamran saw messages on his wife’s phone and deduced she was cheating on him. Eventually Kamran couldn’t handle it and ended up crying on his best friend Ryan’s shoulders, and that hugging soon turned into kissing.
Yeah, Straight man Kamran and Ryan ended up kissing and immediately Kamran started noticing how good Ryan smells, how manly his shoulders are, how sexy he is and not in an observational way. From there on, Kamran couldn’t function without touching Ryan and even tho he thought Melissa was cheating on him HE KEPT PUTTING OFF TO TALK TO HER and he keeps falling in bed with Ryan - Kissing and even fucking.
So Yeah, now he is the one cheating on his wife. Kamran was like a fucking doormat. He was dubbed as someone non- confrontational. Every time he was going to tell his wife they needed to divorce or he was aware that she was cheating on him, the couple started arguing and he wouldn’t say shit and they would just sleep in the same damn bed. Until Ryan started feeling like the other woman.. other man whatever.
Then Kamran actually decided yes we’re going to talk to Melissa about us, and he asked Ryan to accompany him. There they started acting like teenagers kissing each other where Melissa walked in on them.
Now I am going to skip a bit into the story. So forward a bit, Kamran and Melissa finally had THE TALK. Verdict is Melissa never actually cheated, yes there were messages but her boss who is in love with her was actually waiting for her. And Melissa fucking knew that her husband was gay pretty much right after their wedding since after receiving there wedding photo album she saw how Kamran and Ryan were looking at each other. So my question here, WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU SPEND 6 YEARS WITH A MAN WHEN YOU DEDUCED HE WAS GAY AND IN LOVE WITH HIS BEST FRIEND?????
Let’s say she wanted Kamran to figure that part himself but goodness it pissed me off so much that Kamran thought Melissa was cheating on him that in return he was the one who cheated on his wife 🤦🏻♀️
I hate the cheating trope.

What did I just read? The author said that only one of the characters would cheat and I was fine with that but both of them are cheating on each other and he's using his best friend because he's attention and affection starved, the conflict resolution is bad as well like Ryan has a right to feel hurt and betrayed because Kamran basically ended the 8 year friendship and Ryan just kinda forgives him because Karman kisses him and "its Kamran" I struggled through this book lol as the writing is all over the place and just feels like the author is just ramble a lot and trying to meet a certain word count. I also couldn't root for any of the characters as Melissa is literally cheating, Kamran is too much of a coward to tell her he knows and doesn't have a backbone to leave her either, and then Ryan knows that she cheated and that Kamran and Melissa are still very much married and yet he's been in love with Kamran the entire time, has then made himself appear straight and is perfectly OK with Kamran cheating to be with him and then is constantly asking if Kamran has confronted Melissa yet and Kamran says no and he himself then says he'll confront her but then gets too scared or something happens and then it gets pushed back everytime. One of their mutual friends gets told by Ryan that he's in live with Kamran and the friend is just OK with it??
I wanted to DNF this so bad but I stuck with it.

Unfaithfully Yours by Hajer Hamdi was a quick, breezy read with wholehearted “awww” moments, and “well damn!” intimate scenes.
💙 𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐫𝐚𝐧… jolted by betrayal when he discovers his wife’s infidelity, his emotional arc seems to move from shock and hurt to questioning his identity and desires. It’s not just about loss for him, it’s an awakening of deeper feelings he hadn’t acknowledged.
💙 𝐑𝐲𝐚𝐧 is the supportive presence. Beyond physicality, Ryan seems to embody emotional steadiness. It eased the transition from platonic to romantic in gentle, but respectful ways (I mean as respectful as it could be *gives knowing look*). He’s a powerful facilitator of healing and an anchor whose presence opens the door to Kamran’s awakening and vulnerability.

The pacing was smooth, and I appreciated how easy it was to follow the story without getting bogged down in unnecessary detail. It worked well as a light weekend escape. Predictable plot, but still satisfying. However, I never fully connected with the characters on a deeper level, so while enjoyable in the moment, the characters didn’t really leave a lasting impression. Overall, it’s fine if you’re looking for something simple and undemanding.
I pulled an all nighter to read this book, and while I loved so many aspects of it, two major issues really stood out to me. Lissa's entire situation was a little ridiculous. Her nonsensical reactions were dragged out so much that it got to the point where I was expecting a plot twist at the end because that's the only way it could have made sense to me. If she hadn't actually cheated. Even her sister's reaction missed the mark for me. Lissa's infidelity was such q betrayal that gets shrugged away because, oh it all worked out in the end. But her behavior was unacceptable regardless of her husband's suspected sexuality. She should've had a conversation instead of a sex test. What if he didn't want to pressure her? What if he had sexual trauma? What if he was ace? There were so many possibilities, and her stepping out was not an acceptable response. But the book doesn't allow her husband to be justified in anger and for her to truly realize she caused all of this. The story acts like they were both equally at fault. It was unsettling.
I'll return later to say my other point. But despite these issues, I still feel like this was a largely enjoyable read for the tropes it implements. And I've loved many of this authors other works, and I want to show my support. Thanks for the new read!

Infidelity, Miscommunication, Insecurity…True Love and Healing
Kamran accidentally sees a message on his wife’s phone leading him to believe that she’s cheating on him. Instead of confronting her, he runs to his BFF Ryan. Or actually, Ryan comes over. Anyway, Kamran is a mess. He doesn’t know what to do. And then he starts crying. Ryan immediately goes to comfort him and so the story goes on. During all of this, we meet their other friends, get to know Melissa (Kamran’s wife) and learn more about both men.
I didn’t know how to feel about this story, mostly because of the whole cheating thing. Then I was was getting annoyed with it because Kamran just wouldn’t pull up his big boy pants and talk to her about what he saw! Then he and Ryan started getting intense together, which I was ok with but annoyed again because Kamran STILL wouldn’t talk to his wife. So both he and his wife are married to cheaters. The story itself was all right, but I never thought it was an easy read. Hajer Hamdi doesn’t have any other work on Amazon, so I don’t know what else they’ve written. This book probably could have used a touch more…editing of some kind since I wasn’t always sure if it was Kamran or Ryan speaking. In case you’re wondering, yes, there is a happily ever after.

“I don't want to go back to how things were. I feel like I was sleeping for years, and your kiss finally woke me up.”
I liked the premise. Ryan and Kamran had great chemistry. But the story dragged. Kam yo-yo-ed a bit between wanting Ryan and then running away after stuff happened- hurting him in the process. Melissa didn't find out about them until 77% into the story. For the longest time Kam avoided saying anything, then she was avoiding him. Honestly it felt like such a weight shadowing the building of his and Ryan's relationship. And I actually loved that conversation. Them finally understanding each other. Then the yo-yo-ing moved onto Kam and Ryan and then it was aggravating again.
While this story was just okay for me, I would read more from this author as this was my first. 3 stars
ARC review. Sometimes it take some time to see what is right in front of you. And there you have Kamran. Finding out his wife has cheated on him sends him down a road he should have traveled a long time ago. This make him realize he's not as streight as he think he is and the one he love is his longtime best friend Ryan. Rayan on the other hand is gay, still in the closet, but he's known for a long time that the only one for him is Kamran. With Kamrans new discovery they embark on a new future together with some obstacles, before they can have their own happily ever after. These guys are so cute together and just perfect for each other. This read was easy, streight forward and I enjoyed it. I will definitely pick up other books from this author in the future.
Unfaithfully Yours is about Kamran who is married to his wife, who he discovers is cheating him and Ryan who is Kamram’s best friend and in love to Kamran.
When Kamran founds out that his wife is cheating him, he confess that to Ryan and they kiss. Kamran starts to question himself.
I knew this was cheating trope and that doesn’t bother me but I hated how Kamran didn’t speak to his wife, he prolongs that too long.
—————————————————————————————- I received a copy of this book, and this is my honest review
Unfaithfully Yours tells the story of Kamran, who uncovers his wife’s betrayal and turns to his best friend, Ryan—who’s secretly in love with him. As their bond deepens, Kamran begins to question everything he thought he knew about himself.
This book blends hurt/comfort, sexual awakening, and a friends-to-lovers arc. While the plot includes cheating (not between the main characters), it’s handled thoughtfully. The pacing is steady, and the writing is easy to follow, making it an enjoyable low-stakes read.
This was all over the place and messy. Kam finds out his wife Melissa is cheating so he decides to pay her with the same coin. He kisses his best friend Ryan who just happens to secretly be in love with Kam. Kem just wanted to make Melissa jealous and hurt her like he's been hurt but it has him suddenly questioning his sexuality. Kam and Ryan were so cute together and I did not expect that ending.
but can we not brush Lissa's cheating aside so easily.... as much as it wasnt physical, it was still cheating? i dislike how she kept prolonging it and then be shocked that it happened between Kamran and Ryan. and like, girl, he married you and stayed married, no idea what made her think that Kamran wld realised his feelings on his own? and like i rather them hang out with the other 2 bros then Lissa and her new man.
and i like how Ryan is strong enough to walk away.
Unfaithfully Yours is a debut book by this author and I have to say, they did a wonderful job. This is a hurt/comfort, cheating(not between the mc's), sexual awakening, friends to lovers read about Ryan and Kam. I enjoyed reading the story of these two, even though I normally don't like the cheating trope. What an ending!
It was a sweet story of longing and discovery. Kamran and Ryan have been best friends for a long time. It wasn't until Kamran discovers that his marriage wasn't as stable as he thought that he finally sees Ryan's quiet longing for him. It was a great story and heartfelt.

Not sure what I expected going in, but this was a really cute read. I felt as though some of the story could have been fleshed out a little more, but I love the premise of their romance.
