Super fast story with great characters
Bailey is 7 months pregnant and thinks she is being followed, so she calls her brother Miles' best friend Trevor Sullivan. Trevor goes to meet her with his K-9 Archie. They find her off the road with amnesia. But someone definitely seems to be out to get her. With more attempts on her life, Trevor needs to pull out all resources to try and keep her safe. Can he do it? Read this to find out!
The pace is breakneck and the tone is intense with an action oriented storyline that has no steam. The characters are vivid and engaging. The Christian ideals are a part of the story and don't feel added on. If you like Christian romances with tons of action and great characters and dogs, then this is for you. Read the series in order and enjoy. Then if you like those, go back and read the Milwaukee set of series in this order: SWAT Top Cop, Callahan Confidential, Finnegan First Responders and finally Oath of Honor. These all intertwine and the one of the main characters in book one of Sullivan Search and Rescue showed up previously in at least one Oath of Honor book. Enjoy!

Although amnesia tropes are my least favorite stories to read, this book was still very good! I liked Bailey and Trevor's characters right from the beginning! I can't imagine the terror that would course through Bailey's veins to be driving and have someone run her off the road during the winter all while being 7 months pregnant! The person doing this has been following you for a couple of days and you wake up from this "accident" with no memory! However, Trevor Sullivan and his trusty K-9 search & rescue dog, Archie are there to pull you out of the car and get you & call an ambulance.
What follows is a constant barrage of gunshots while someone continually finds you wherever you go. How are they finding you? Trevor is trying to keep Bailey safe and the "black hat man" is always one step ahead of them. What does he want? There is a lot of action and sweet, tender moments as Bailey tries to remember what her life was before her accident with her dead husband and Trevor tries to keep Bailey safe. Archie is amazing too! I love these Sullivan books!

She's being targeted...but nobody knows why
Unfortunately with no memory of her life before her car crash, pinning down who might be targeting her and why gets more and more difficult. Trevor and Archie do everything possible to keep Bailey and the baby safe as the danger rises and the threats keep locating them, no matter how many times they move. It is lovely to see the feelings grow and develop between Bailey and Trevor, even as they both try to ignore them as they think her marriage was happy and she is still grieving....except it wasn't and she isn't.
The relief and joy when they finally uncover the truth and can embrace their love is beautiful, another Sullivan sibling has fallen hard and fast!

Great read with plenty of danger and nonstop action. Bailey, pregnant, has a case of amnesia after someone runs her car off the road. Trevor, her brother's friend, comes to her rescue, but they find themselves in danger as the attacks against Bailey escalate. Bailey also experiences some pregnancy complications while she and Trevor keep on moving around. Can this be related to her late husband's death? I enjoyed Scent of Terror.

I loved ❤️ the cover. I loved ❤️ this book's storyline. I loved ❤️ the action in this story. I loved ❤️ the Christian ✝️ theme in this story. I loved ❤️ Bailey's character. My heart broke 💔 for Bailey. I loved ❤️ Trevor's character. I loved ❤️ Archie 🐕, he was adorable. I loved ❤️ the ending. Awesome job Ms. Scott.

Note to self. It was a free book. Listening to a Christian mystery as an atheist and getting pissed with all the damn praying doesn’t make much sense. Still would have liked to see the baby be born after all the suspense.

This story has wonderful characters including the K-9 of course, and a clean romance along with plenty of suspense and some action. It is another very entertaining book in this series.

What a unique and original story line! Bailey Admas is pregnant, but she has no memory of who she is or where her husband might be. Enter Trevor Sullivan and his K9 Archie. Finding Bailey at the bottom of a ravine following a car crash, Trevor determines to help her uncover the truth while keeping Bailey and her unborn child safe. Will her memory return? Will they ever learn the truth about her husband? Only time will tell.
