Ms. Schmidt has always grabbed my attention with her books. She has a wonderful way with words and is just awesome at story telling. I must say that Follow Weary Dreams is Ms. Schmidt at her best. This is a quick read that grabbed my heartstring from the very start. It follows a young woman, Mercy, who has suffered the loss of her mother, which threw her into the clutches of her Uncle and his club. But Mercy, after being abused by her uncle and his VP, she runs away. She finds herself outside a cabin belonging to her father, a man she’s never met. Out of spite and spending the last few nights outside in the freezing cold, she breaks in and makes herself at home. But she is soon discovered by Sable, the VP of her father’s club.

Has Mercy jumped from one frying pan into another? Will her father’s club abuse her like her Uncle’s did? His is such a wonderful, emotional, MC Romance. It’s full of a young woman's dreams of what life should be as well as the reality of how cold the world can be. Is it possible that dreams really come true or is life about to throw Mercy another major curve ball? If you are a fan of Ms. Schmidt’s you will get a real treat when some old friends from the Wisely Dicey MC make an appearance. I can’t recommend this book enough. Grab it up asap, You won’t regret it.

I absolutely loved this book. Mercy was such a strong person especially with everything she had gone through and was going through. Her world was falling apart piece by piece until she decided to break into a certain cabin. Breaking into the cabin was the best thing that could have happened to her. Sable is the VP and was sent by his Prez to check out the cabin due to someone breaking in. Sable got the best surprise in his life being sent on this task!! I loved how Mercy trusted Sable right from the start really especially with her voice and thoughts. Sable knew that Mercy was his and did not waste a second in claiming her. I also loved seeing the relationship between the Prez Kujo and Mercy grow from not knowing each other to forming a wonderful father/daughter relationship. This book had a good amount of suspense, twist, and turns, plus a surprise guest appearance which who would not love!

This was just what I needed! After a week of feeling sorry for myself, losing my voice to the lurgy! I needed something to escape into and this author gives that with every book she shares with us.
Mercy! That poor woman has been through so much in such a short time, it seems every corner turned throws her into another trauma. Until she ‘finds’ this cabin.
Sable is sent by his Prez to find out what the hell is going on and he finds more than he bargained for. Oh my heart!!
The twists and turns and surprises *wink just took me away on an absolute ride! Pardon the pun! I mean it is an MC book! lol! But seriously, go and add this to your tbr now!!!

I fell in love with Mercy right from the start, her strength and resilience despite the issues life had dealt her. This was a story of overcoming obstacles, learning trust and opening herself up, finding her voice and family and friends that would understand and support her. Sable was understanding, caring and leant his own strength when she needed it most. Kujo gave her time, talked to her and gave her the love she never knew she needed. I loved this story and the insight into something I hadn't understood, the behaviour and gave me perspective.

Sable and Mercy’s story had me hooked from the beginning. She had recently been through quite a bit with the loss of her mother. Her mother tells her something that’s going to change her life finally for the better.
Sable is the VP of his MC, so when his President tells him to go to his cabin because his silent alarm was tripped he goes to check it out. Sable gets quite the surprise.
Their story will take you on a roller coaster ride full of twists & turns. Esther knows how to write a story that hooks her readers till the very end!

Mercy and Sable
oh my goodness I was totally hooked on this book!
absolutely fantastic! Without leaving any spoilers I'm just going to say, that this is one amazing story. That one thing I love about this author is her way to weave a story that keeps you glued to the pages.
The characters are awesome,each character brings something special to this book. totally worth reading!! Can not wait for what comes next!!

Sable and Mercy were so well matched, both were fierce and strong willed, I enjoyed their journey, they were good for each other, they brought a part out that they both needed in each other, the connection and chemistry was strong, steamy chemistry, well matched, perfect together. I enjoyed this story, I'd suggeet reading it, it's great, Esther E. Schmidt did a wonderful job on it, the plot and characters were written well.

Ok so this is actually probably a 10 star book…. It just wasn’t long enough. I did not get my fill and I definitely need more. My heart broke for Mercy and all she’s been through. Sable, you’ll live because he’s just lovable lol. I love how he really takes care of her and how protective he becomes over her. I just needed more!
