Adrian Chase is like something out of a fantasy.

Well, if my fantasies included a sexy smirk and a guy working at City Hall.
But anything further with the charmer is quickly squashed when I find out he’s on the city council.
The exact guy who is trying to stop the building of a new dog park that the animal shelter desperately needs close by.
It’s literally my job as an intern to get this project seen to completion before the summer’s over.

Now, if only I could get this jerk out of my head long enough to do that.
