I'm a wife and mother of three teenage kids. I've been married to the same wonderful man for twenty years. I've decided that if I can survive raising three kids then I can survive anything!! I haven't uttered the Mama's curse yet, but it could happen any day now. You know the one..."I hope you have a child just like you someday."

I'm an avid reader and lover of all things romance. I've spent my entire adult life waiting to follow my dreams of becoming a writer. One day this past summer, I decided to just do it. No more wishing and hoping. I haven't quit my day job, but that is my ultimate goal...make a living telling stories of love.

I write contemporary gay fiction. I hope you will love reading my books as much as I enjoy writing them.

My initial reaction:
My very southern friend once bought these really fancy color print bags to pick up her dog's poop. When I asked her why she replied, "Just because it's shit, doesn't mean it can't be wrapped and presented pretty."

After sleeping on it:
Look, all reviews are subjective. None are really objective. It's completely dependent on how you feel about the book. And, for me at least, how I feel is largely tied into my emotional state at the time of reading, or how much I enjoy the story, no matter how improbable or impossible it may be. I mean, hell, look at my "Read" list - look at some of the books I've 4 and 5 starred. Let's face it, some of those are not the great american novel, but, to me, at the time of reading, they just did it for me.

That being said, I can see where some people are going to love this book. I didn't love it. It didn't "do it" for me. I swung wildly between liking it at times and raging at it. SPOILERS AHEAD - some marked, some not. So only go forth if ye be men (or women) of valor (and don't mind spoilers)!

What I liked:
The sex scenes were pretty hot. With the exception of one moment

Adam, though a "born submissive" was not a pushover. He makes it known that although he'll allow Sebastian to dominate him in the bedroom, he will not allow him to dominate or run roughshod over him outside of it.

Sebastian's revenge scheme to ruin Marcus. Call me petty, but that shit was awesome.

Anyway, our story starts with a flashback/nightmare to the summer before Sebastian goes to MIT, when he's seduced by Marcus. While in the middle of Marcus plowing him but good (See what I did there? "But good" *snickering*) both their respective parental units barge in on them. Marcus tearfully claims Sebastian roofied and raped him, which leaves Sebastian heartbroken and devastated. And homeless, since Sebastian's parents kick him out immediately after. Until he goes to college. (It must have been on scholarship, but I don't remember that being mentioned. It must have been a scholarship, right? Otherwise it would have been impossible, particularly for a kid who has been cut off financially from his family.)

By the way, you get most of that from the flashback/nightmare Sebastian has in the first chapter.

What made me rage:
In the sixteen years since Marcus's betrayal, and Sebastian's homelessness, Sebastian's become a billionaire. God, am I tired of the billionaire bullshit. You know what? There are only 31 billionaires in the world under the age of 40. But pick up any romance novel and you can't throw a rock without hitting one. And they're all ripped, gorgeous, and wounded. Perfect for just the right girl/guy/submissive to heal.

And, oh, Sebastian is wounded. He's a "born submissive" shaped by the men who have destroyed him in the past.

Cut to now, during the last two years, Sebastian has been embroiled in a lawsuit claiming unfair employee practices, or some such bullshit.

As a result of the lawsuit he had to cancel his membership to the gentleman's club where he was getting his submissives from to have dirty, toppy sex. Oh, yeah - Sebastian, the "born submissive"? He now only tops. Even though he craves a cock buried in his ass. Oh, and he doesn't give blowjobs or kiss. He's a real winner.

One of the junior lawyers assigned to helping his lawyer Matt defend Sebastian's case, is Adam. (I mentioned he's a "born submissive" - I mean, really? Is anyone doing any real research into BDSM? Or just winging it? Whatever.) Sebastian is fascinated with Adam. Can't stop fantasizing about him, which is too bad because Adam is straight with a fiance. Except Adam's not straight, neither is the fiance, and he's been fantasizing about Sebastain too.

Sebastian approaches Adam about a sex-only relationship and makes him sign a contract and a NDA. Adam is all ready and follows all of Sebastian's demands (the waxing and the butt plug box are hysterical) and is all ready to lose his virginity (did I mention he's a virgin?) and then Sebastian is threatened and leaves a voice mail for Adam breaking everything off.

Adam, heartbroken, decides he's going to give his flower away (I mean, it's not written like that, but it might as well have been), but Sebastian finds out and gets all crazy jealous ragey, tracks him down and drags him back to his place to de-virginize Adam. Making sure Adam knows it's only going to be a one night thing. Period.

After said de-virginization, Adam leaves, again heartbroken.

Then Sebastian is accused of murder! And his only alibi is Adam! But he doesn't tell his lawyers (Adam's boss and his father) that Adam is his alibi! Because he's protecting Adam's secret (being gay)! Then Adam blurts out that he's the alibi! And they share a moment when they realize they're in love! And all Sebastian's walls come crumbling down! He's healed through the power of alibi!

Adam comes out to his family. His father is surprised. His mother? Claims she's always known he's gay, and would have stopped the engagement "before the wedding took place". WTF? So all the angst he's built up about worrying if his family would disown him was all for naught. You don't think she could have said something in the YEARS he's been worrying about this?!

Anyway, attempted murder, more murder, and some stalking happens. And you can tell who the culprit is by the 25% mark. Seriously. You cannot tell me you didn't guess who the bad guy was. I will not believe you.

Sebastian and Adam are together, I think, a week before Sebastian proposes and Adam moves in with him (because of the danger, you know!) and then it ends totally predictably.

Sure, it had it's moments. Enough that it kept sucking me back in. I felt like it was one of those books where you could exchange the MM for MF and it would make zero difference, which drives me up a wall. But, hey, it's all subjective. Give it a whirl! Maybe you'll love it.

What the shit?

This started out like a gay 50 shades of gray, changed into a Criminal Minds wannabe and ended up sappy as fuck. Reasons:

-Sebastian.Such an arrogant SOB.Not the sexy badass billionaire kind but the "I'm so gorgeous i can't stand it" kind. Don't believe me? There :

"I grip my big cock, my strong thighs"

"I gave them the best fucking of their life"

"I look at the face the press has dubbed stunning, women have called mesmerizing, and gay men have called gorgeous."
(<--yes, he 's looking himself in the mirror)

-And while I don't aways mind the first person POV, in this case it just added to the arrogance of the character.

-Other people's reaction to Sebastian. They stamer and pale when they confront him, crowds part for him to pass through and Adam thanks him after some sex scenes, for God's sake. He actually says thank you!

-And then BAM.In the middle of the book Seb becomes this sappy and lovestruck person overnight. Literally, overnight. Sure there was a development in the plot but it didn't justify such a change of a character in the blink of an eye.

Bottom line, the idea was great, the blurb awsome but all the above things were too much for me to overlook.

I really liked this book. It had all the things that I require in a book to be great. The plot had twists and turns, the MCs were well-written and complicated, the writing style easy to read and just a joy!

Sebastian is a man with rigid rules and unbending attitude. He is successful, he has anything he wants but what he does not have is peace. He is tortured by his past and mistakes he made and they influence how he sees his present and future. I commiserated with him many times because he rose above his circumstances and now he is the top dog. But is it enough to be happy when you have all the wealth in the world and nobody to share it with? Or even worse not realizing how much you need somebody to take the burden of your shoulders? This all changes when he meets Adam.

Adam is a fresh out of college attorney working at his father's law firm. He is smart, loyal, he has a nice house, a beautiful fiancee and the bright future before him. But all of this is a facade. Under it all is a lonely man who is scared to come out to his family and act on his attraction to other men. But when he meets Sebastian Blake he can't resist his charm and good looks even with the permanent scowl on his face every time they see each other.

The chemistry between them is amazing, but it takes a lot of events, spilled secrets for them to be together the way they both deserve. There is a moment in the book when everything hangs in the balance, it can go either way, and Adam chooses Sebastian above everything else and it proves to Sebastian that the way he lives his life is wrong and that he might lose any chance he might have had with Adam if he does not change his ways. When all the cards are on the table Adam sees the emotionally scarred and lonely man underneath and he takes a chance and leaps. And the love and devotion between them heals Sebastian from within and helps Adam to become the confident man that he is supposed to be.

All should be happy for them except that there are bodies dropping dead and Adam is in danger from somebody who wants to stake their claim on Sebastian. The tension escalates and when they know who it is they set a trap that nearly backfires. But in the end these two men get the happy future they both crave and deserve. A very thrilling, steamy and romantic read. I highly recommend it!

* Spectacular !!! * Loved this complicated M/M suspenseful romance. Aimee Nicole Walker writes a beautiful tale of a loving man who finds someone who needs his love. Handsome business mogul, powerful Sebastian Blake is not a "Dom", but has his dominant proclivities. He's been betrayed by Marcus, who took away everyone he loved, blackmailed by Andy and Spencer, then Spencer commits suicide, and lonely Sebastian refuses to show any feelings.
His past has not been pretty, but a small door opens inside when he sees gorgeous Adam and they lock gazes. Adam has wanted him for awhile, but is not "out" and well, it's complicated.

Adam's friend says:
...I've never known a man who has more love to give than you do, Adam. And, I've never known a man that needs to be loved as badly as Sebastian does. You are perfect for each other...."

We get both main characters points of view, flashbacks that give insight, and musings that fill us in on the deep thoughts of our men. I read every word, no skimming, and took each thought-filled page and devoured it.

Sebastian's "take over" of Marcus's company is a perfect revenge for what he did. This is a riveting tale with evil men, a maniac on the loose, deeply beautiful characters, and I include all of the other people in their lives.

We are spellbound by the events, emotions, and captivated by every word, phrase and action. This gripping story makes you feel like you are there, in the room, witnessing everything first hand.

Sebastian only wants to pleasure his man Adam. He only wants to please Adam from their first kiss, Adam's first everything, to first time sex, to please him in everything. He's finally found what's he's wanted, his peace, love and understanding, and true love for his other half.

At 75% we see their beautiful conversation that cements their deep emotions, their declarations to each other, then awesome wall sex, dinner with Adam's family, for the first time since he's come out, Adam feels his life settle , it grounds him. Adam wanted his folks to meet his Sebastian.

"There isn't a word in the English language that describes how I feel about you, Adam...Love is so commonly used...that all-consuming feeling where someone always comes first in your life, their wishes and needs before your own..."

There is a lot going on here, and the events flow.

The M/M sex scenes are incredible, erotic, raw and powerful. Loved the reversal on the island as Adam takes Sebastian against the patio door as the sun rises...mmm!

I felt this complicated story was perfect, a gripping tale of hate, revenge, retribution, action, sex, and finding deep true love.

The epilogue is well done, Adam's "dream" come to life, ...sigh....
I highly recommend this. E N J O Y !!!

This is 50 shades of grey MM. And that's not a compliment.

I started to read this book with an idea of what was to come or so I thought, I was wrong.
This book made me gasp so many times. I had to stop and put my hand over my mouth to force myself not to laugh because it was too much and all I could think was "this happened between Cristian and Ana!!!" And the storyline is actually not even alike but at the same time it totally is.
Did this started as fan fiction? It certainly seems that way. And I'm offended because this was MF with two male characters. Not cool.

The characters were not like able and I hated the weird insta love.
The characters have known each other for 16 months and have only talked to each other in a business matter but once the book starts? They go from "fuck me" to "I love you" in days!

A lot of the situations were ridiculous and so OTT I couldn't take the book seriously.

Nope. Fuck no. 𝗗𝗡𝗙.

Some creepy shit in here :

“𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙩 𝙨𝙪𝙜𝙜𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙨 𝙄 𝙜𝙤 𝙩𝙤 𝙖 𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙗𝙖𝙧,” 𝙄 𝙗𝙡𝙪𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢.

“𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩? 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙘𝙧𝙖𝙯𝙮,” 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙤 𝙨𝙥𝙪𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨. “𝘼𝙙𝙖𝙢, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙡𝙡 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙚𝙭.”

“𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙖, 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚,” 𝙄 𝙨𝙖𝙮 𝙨𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮.

“𝙉𝙤𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚,” 𝙅𝙖𝙯𝙢𝙮𝙣 𝙨𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙨𝙤𝙛𝙩𝙡𝙮, 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙡𝙖𝙮 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙢. “𝙉𝙤 𝙬𝙖𝙮, 𝘼𝙙𝙖𝙢. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚 𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙘𝙠 𝙛𝙪𝙘𝙠 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙖 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙗𝙖𝙧 𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢.”

And gay stereotypes. How Adam is told he is a bottom because he looks like one. Wt the fuck?

De-virginisation (that's not a word). I don't even know how to explain this. Except it has destroyed my faith in humanity.

Just Sex

Needed editing desperately. Lots of sex, not a lot of imagination put into the dialogue. Seriously none at all. MC are described as very strong male characters who ended up being very effeminate from the beginning of their sexual relationship.

My bestie and I had a day long discussion regarding this book we have decides yes it could have been a "wow" book. The potential was there to be just that... and then.... The characters changed into girls never mind women plain simple hormonal eating out brain no common sense girls!!!

The Penis changed into a vagina = another bathroom scene yeah and this is one of the big reasons I read MM and not MF there's not suppose to be any bathroom scenes!!!!

Really liked the first half, when those two played the pull and push game, before finally getting together. However, after they became a couple, it took a turn for the worse and became too lovey-dovey and disgustingly sweet for me, even boring. So 4 for the first and 2 for the second part, making an average of 3 stars. TBH it reminded me of Felice Stevens' books: lots of insta-love and sweetness, but without any serious darkness to balance them. The fact that the MC turned into a real saint, saving -in secret- anyone close to everyone who hurt him, was a touch too much IMHO.

The cover was about the hottest part of the book aside from descriptions of Sebastian's sessions with the insane Killian.

I was a bit uncertain about the true nature of the arrangement between Sebastian & Killian as there appeared to be a contradiction.Did the author intentionally substitute the word 'love for lover' as hinted at in Sebastian's thoughts in chapter one.Had Sebastian's feelings for Killian been deeper than he lead Adam to believe. Can a prostitute be referred to as a lover or love if cash is only involved & not emotions?

'Forcefully, I shove Adam’s image away and replace it with that of my former love, Killian, who I met at Knight’s two years ago. I’d gone through a lot of subs there until I met Killian.'

The book would have been combustible if Killian had been realized as the primary love interest with Sebastian only realizing his true feelings for the escort during his absence from the club due to the lawsuit. His thought patterns were only about returning to Killian once the lawsuit was done even during his obsession with Adam.

Steve approaches and quietly asks how I’m doing.

Sebastian: “I’d be doing a lot better if I was still a member of your establishment,” I confess wryly. “All work and no play has made me a very dull boy.”

Steve: “I’ll be glad to have you back, but I bet I know someone who’ll be even happier to see you,” Steve replies with a chuckle.

Sebastian:Ahh, sweet eager Killian.
I’d like to ask if Killian is currently in an arrangement with someone, but Matt chooses that time to walk up to the bar.

Why was Sebastian still using Killian as a shower fantasy(chapter one) or had thoughts about returning to that particular escort after an 18 month absence 50 % into the novel & not to any of the others available if there had been no strong emotions involved.

Adam turned out to be an extremely bland character.

My personal feelings about what I just read...

MAJOR SPOILER ALERT – DON’T READ IF YOU DON’T WANT TO!!

The author had all the makings of a brilliant read. The background, the characters and a story I could happily follow and live through with the two MC’s. I just knew this was gonna be a great one! There were parts that made me sigh and parts that made me sad and general parts that made meread faster so I could get more of the “GOOD”.

We have Adam, who drew my attention from the start. He is SMART, he is witty and he does not stand back for arrogant billionaires to walk over him when ever the mood strikes. I was rubbing my hands together here in glee. Because I could already see this unfolding into something awesome within the next chapters.

Then we have Sebastian. What’s not to like? He is rich, he is arrogant and he is a closed off broken alpha. But hold your horses...alpha? Really? So the book took a turn that made me move even further to the edge of my seat at this point because how good could it get huh?? The arrogant alpha is actually a hurt bitter submissive who decided to protect himself by never being vulnerable again!

Oh this was turning out great! Bring the POPCORN people I’m settling in for the long hall...!!

Queue the “What-the Fuck” moment. Wait...where is the bloody remote? I need to rewind here and pause for effect.

After a pivotal moment in the book (No I’m not bitch enough to spoil the whole shebang so you’ll just have to read it yourself if you want to know) Sebastian is confronted with the fact that Adam in fact is who he says he is. He is strong and responsible and he will stand for what is right even if it has the potential of ruining everything he has worked for and estranging his family.

So what does he do? Well he goes from 0 to 150 miles an hour in exactly 1.2 seconds!!

That’s what. The arrogant closed off billionaire, the guy who doesn’t feel and doesn’t commit and doesn’t do relationships, now repeatedly winks at people. Within hours of this shift in balance he is now comfortably referring to Adam as “Baby”. He is now happily hugging strangers (Caro and future-mom-in-law) He draws on his inner-hormonal-female at random times.

Oh..I’m so bad for him. My presence put’s him danger and I have to do the honourable thing and let him go...Oh but I’m to selfish to walk away. I can’t imagine a day not looking into his captivating eyes...

And too put the cherry on top of the fruitcake....

That night during an amazing sunset, Sebastian dropped to one knee in the sand and properly asked for my hand in marriage. HANSON SNAPPED A PICTURE WITH SEBATIAN’S PHONE AND WE TEXTED IT TO OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY WITH A CAPTION THAT READ: HE SAID YES!!!”

Where the hell was I during the add break because I’m sure I missed a whole lot of something? Split personality syndrome maybe??

Adam, yes the same Adam I previously told you is a strong intelligent character, spend years hiding his true sexuality from his family. This fact makes you expect serious explosions or at least a little reality when he finally comes clean. His dad takes it rather well. In fact he makes me smile and I tag him as one of my favourite characters because of it. His mom...takes it TOO WELL. She KNOWS what he’s doing with Caro!! But she things it a good idea to leave him in the dark to sort things out for himself????

It’s round about here were Adam starts too chronically trade his balls in for a pussy. I’m talking complete with the hormones and hissy fits in case you’re wondering.

So after the first serious hormonal rage, they now figure out that the probable killer is an old sub who after TWO YEARS of complete separation from Sebastian now out of the blue decides to start randomly offing people....

And for our final STANDING OVATION: Oh no she didn’t....Oh YES she DID!!!!

Not only did she make Adam trade his balls in for a pussy, she went and put in the dreaded BATHROOM SCENE!!! I got addicted to MM because of the LACK of hormonal females and narrow minded bitch fights in bathrooms people! So is this an undercover M/F with male names? Cause I’m confused now..

By the time I got to the last chapters I was so frustrated, nothing they said or did could pass me without scrutiny!!

Back to the bathroom scene, because NO, I can’t let this go! They have high-tech watches they have formal special forces guys on security detail and the police department to back that shit up. Yet Sebastian is the one informing these highly trained men that h is in fact now running to Adam’s aid because HE is starting to believe he’s in danger??? No one thought of oh I don’t know..maybe putting undercover guys INSIDE the actually venue for visual confirmation? And what is the hearing apparatus on the watch for???

Sebastian reaches the locked bathroom door first. He paces outside and...
“I try to send positive vibes to Adam to five him strength and let him know that I love him.” ????

Meanwhile inside: Adam is trying to stay calm and thinking of his future HUSBAND AND THEIR CHILDREN..YES you heard me..CHILDREN! HUH?

He finally remembers he actually does have balls and they can apparently be made from Steele because he then proceeds to beat the living crap out of the mad man. Way to go Adam. Getting in ture with you inner cave man there at last.

I highlighted a lot in this book. Both for good and bad, unfortunate more so for the wrong reasons that the good though. So allow me to share some of my favourite BROW LIFTING moments:

- “My semen floods the condom so full and fast I fear it might rupture”...??
- “I laugh and jog the final steps to him. I throw my arms around his neck and he spins me around. He sets me back on my feet after a few spins and I instantly try to kiss him.”
- “I try to send positive vibes to Adam to give him strength and let him know that I love him.”

In conclution to this, I’m confused an I feel as if I’ve been through a cement mixer. My best friend is probably repeatedly going to hit me over the head with the thickest hard copy she can get her hands on, resulting in a bad concussion and possible neck brace for the foreseeable future.
Might I add as a final rant and rave that I don’t for the love of all things rational and honest, understand why authors choose to actually write in direct first person.

That being said. The idea of this book and the imagination to bring all tis to life, was fabulous. The idea behind the characters was fabulous. I even enjoyed the course the whole thing took at the end.

But it just didn’t get there for me. And I’m really really sorry about that.

Sebastian is a self-made billionaire with many enemies. After being burned by love one too many times, he doesn't want to bother with it any longer. However, that doesn't stop him from lusting after one of the lawyers assisting him on a lawsuit filed against him. Adam is young, gorgeous and sadly for Sebastian, straight and engaged to be married, or so he thinks. When Sebastian overhears a conversation, he realizes Adam is gay and his fiancée is just a front. Deciding he wants Adam to become his sub he presents him with a contract.

Adam has been crushing on Sebastian from the first moment he saw him. So he agrees to Sebastian's terms, even if Adam wants more than something that sounds more like a business deal than sex. Things change when Andy Hampton, the man who filed the lawsuit against Sebastian, is murdered and Sebastian is the prime suspect. Adam had been with him that night, though, so he is set on being Sebastian's alibi, even if that means having to come out to his parents and admit that his engagement was just a sham. Things take a turn for the better between Sebastian and Adam, making them realize the depth of their feelings, but there's still a killer on the loose.

I loved Adam. He might be very willing to give up his v-card to Sebastian and submit to him in any way he can in bed, but he's no wimp and can hold his own to anyone in all other areas of his life. He was smart, kind of shy and unassuming, not conscious of his worth or that others were attracted to him. I really liked that when he made a decision, he didn't back off, no matter what.

I liked Sebastian. I wasn't too sure about him at first, but he had a change of heart after Adam offered to be his alibi and he realized Adam was the man he needed by his side. He was arrogant, brash and used to getting what he wanted. Perhaps it was a bit too sudden of a change because Sebastian went from "I want sex with you so long as you follow my rules (signed contract included)" to "this is the man I want to be with for the rest of my life" at the turn of a page, but I really liked them together. They made a good team and had great chemistry, which made for some very hot scenes together.

The secondary storyline with the murders and the investigation and trying to draw the killer out was interesting, maybe a bit predictable, but I was intrigued trying to figure how it all would play out.

This is Aimee Nicole Walker's debut novel and comparing it to some of her newer books, you can really see the evolution in her writing style. The book has some editing issues, but they aren't overly jarring.

Overall, the book is enjoyable, fast-paced and intriguing. It's a very promising start to what's coming in the Fated Hearts series, which I'll be reviewing next. Recommendable!

What the f...? Ok I have to admit I am not the biggest fan of BDSM stories and I don`t need the 50th installment of "50 shades od gray". But if it is well written I can still enjoy it.
Unfortunately this one is not! It starts slow, and then gets really really ridiculous.
Sebastian is a rich asshole (of course with an excuse, as he has always been used for his money only) and in order to be in control he is strictly top and dominant, even if he doesn`t like it. Adam is a young men with a fake fiancé because he doesn`t want to come out to his family.
Both are attracted to each other and that`s just fine.
But when Sebastian presents a non disclosure agreement together with a contract that will regulate everything from the amount of sex sessions per week, to the positions they will be performed in, to the amount of time each one will take- what would your reaction be?
Well Adam is extremely turned on and signs everything without a lot of discussion.
And that really was the point where I gave up and just had to put this nonsense away.
Fortunately it was included in my ebook flatrate, because spending money on it would really have hurt!
I am always aware that writers do a great job when creating a story, even if it is not always to my liking, so rating 2 stars is not a decision I make easily, but unfortunately in this case I really did not see any other choice, sorry but this book is just ridiculous and an insult to an adult and thinking reader!

So wonderful, there aren't any words...

How can you put words down to describe such an amazing book? I'm not sure I can, but ill try...

This book was amazing. And it had everything. I laughed and cried. There was anxiety and anticipation. And boy was there....really well described scenes....that got me really hot and bothered.

I love stories that balance the romance with the underlying plot. This one balances it all so well.

Take a chance folks. You will not be disappointed.

P.S. This book is male on male. If that is something that you can't handle then don't bother. Please have an open mind and an open heart when reading this book. It really is worth it.
P.P.S. Yes, there is a grammatical error or two. They are so very minor, they aren't worth mentioning. Relax a little and enjoy the story.

Great Love Story

Great story -- although it does slightly mirror a popular Trilogy that features another broken billionaire saved by love.. It is also it's own story and can be enjoyed as that. Sebastian & Adam find their way to each other, face obstacles together, and build a life together. It is the ultimate HEA and an overall 5 star read!

Harlequin-esque and predictable storyline where the tough, successful men take turns being the insecure crier....following their non-existent (dare I say instalove?) romance/courtship.

Not for me.

Totally would have been a 5 star book if there hadn’t been so many errors. But because I loved this story, I’m still giving it 4 stars.

DNF muy pronto. No puedo con very successful adults que solo piensan en fornicar entre meeting y meeting.

Maybe this would be good if these characters could go two sentences without thinking at how hard they are when the other one is talking.
And seriously, the plot reads like a soap opera. Or like 50 shades for that matter, since it follows the same principle.
And did I mention all those sex-related thoughts and the "handsome" and "sexy scent" and "hard c*ck* thrown at us left and right?
Is there anyone left who writes good MM nowadays?
Got me so annoyed I didn't even finish reading it.

I was reading my way through the Fated Heart series and I had just realized that Always You had two characters that felt like they might have had their own story so you can imagine how excited I was to realize that this book is about Always You Wesley's brother Sebastian. This is well written with well developed characters. I am happy I read this one first.

This is the first book by Aimee Nicole Walker that I have read and I absolutely loved it!! It captivated me from the first word all the way to the very last. Sebastian Blake is a self made billionaire who doesn't believe in love. He was blindsided and betrayed by his first love when he was eighteen which caused him to lose his family. He has since not allowed anyone to get emotionally close to him. Adam Johnson is a closeted gay man who is a lawyer for the firm that is representing Sebastian in the ongoing lawsuit against him by a former employee. When these two first meet, their attraction is instant, although they both try to fight it and are unaware that the other is feeling the same way. When Sebastian learns that Adam in, in fact, gay he can't stay away from him any longer and comes up with a purely sexual arrangement that will benefit them both. They both don't want a relationship, but when passion ignites hearts sometimes get involved. When enemies from Sebastian's darker days start popping up dead, he is the prime suspect in the case. He has an alibi: Adam, but will Adam risk everything and come out to the public in order to save Sebastian from the crimes he didn't commit? Will Sebastian risk his heart and soul to keep Adam safe from his enemies? I loved this book! And I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a emotional, suspenseful love story.

This was an easy read with a steady pace and likeable characters that kept my attention. My only issue with it was the fact that Sebastian was a little reminiscent of a certain other famous, self made billionaire who had more baggage than bag shop, likes a bit of kink and needs a sex contract to ensure that no one gets emotionally involved and of course, his chosen partner (albeit male in this case) is of course an untouched twenty something virgin - yeh right! Sebastian does the fastest one eighty ever and goes from stating that there will be no kissing and no sexual contact without a condom to reversing those statements, offering declarations of love and contemplating marriage. In saying that, these things all happen near the beginning allowing us to then just enjoy the sexy, true love story and a nice HEA.

I liked both the male leads, Adam being quite funny at times when giving Sebastian some attitude and there was just the right amount of drama to ensure I wanted to know who dunnit. There was plenty of hot sex which turned out to be rather 'vanilla' considering the way the story started (which is in no way a criticism). It was just two beautiful men who were incredibly well hung and couldn't keep their hands off each other.

I enjoyed this, I liked Sebastian and Adam a lot but I felt it was too long with just a bit too much angst. Adam is so heavily closeted he has a fiancée and is planning a wedding when he meets Sebastian. For all his fear he quickly falls for the other man and is willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement and a contract for just sex. Sebastian has been stung so many times he has no emotion left to give and wants a submissive man for an allotted hours of the week to get his rocks off basically.

The best part of the story for me was watching Sebastian crack and fall albeit kicking and screaming for Adam. Adam’s worries about his parents prove unfounded but someone is out for revenge and people start dying. The mystery part of the story was very well done and will keep you guessing for a while.
