Whoever is the editor of the audiobook--you need to take another pass! I was keeping track of audio mistakes (repeated words and phrases, at first I thought I was just crazy but then after like 3 or so I realized it was the book and not me!) but stopped because there were....a lot. But the worst mistake I kept track of was when the narrator messed up a name pronunciation, took a beat, then started over, saying it correctly the second try. It was at 43%. I've never heard an audiobook with so many mistakes! Maybe it was just the Libby App version, but it was very distracting. That being said, the book itself was really fun, and I didn't let the wonky audio affect my star rating. I loved it because it gave just enough info to pique my interest in tons of different heroes. I'm working on a writing project where I need some lesser-known but cool heroes from all history and time periods. I got a lot of ideas and inspiration. It was a very thorough and fun read.
Very similar to the mermaids book we just read. Really fun! Wish there was more. Yes, it’s for kids but I can still want more. Art was excellent! I think good diversity? But who am I to say?
